Big Snapper from the Mussel Farms S7 EP2 - Firth of Thames

The boys' head to Waikawau on the Thames Coast to fish amongst the mussel farms and working barges. The barges put out an epic burley trail and the big snapper are on the bite.

Gotta love the muscle farms always some big fish there love it there , 1 time there was 3 or 4 decent sized kingfish swimming under the boat and even a dolphine 1 time

A snapper that length in Australia would only be about 2kg 🤣

Aussies measure overall length from nose to tail tip. Kiwis measure nose to the fork in the tail. So a 52cm snapper in Australia is just 45cm in New Zealand, a little over 2 kilos
