Sade is a goddess. This is by far my favorite performance of this song. Love the smooth silky bass line and percussion backing her angelic voice. And the hard gritty guitar brings an edge to the song that seems to bring out there best in Sade. This song is a mood and everyone is vibing on stage. Would have loved to see this live.

I was at this exact concert, filmed in San Diego 1993, @ San Diego State University. Having amazing seats--2nd row center--and although I was already a fan before I went, I seriously thought I was in the presence of an angel. Literally she was so mesmerizing and captivated all of us who were swooning by the 2nd song in. I have had many memorable concerts but this one that I always mention to people because it made such a huge imprint.

Just when I think, how does that drummer keep that beat? Then, I think, how does that bass keep it going? Mathewman on his guitar makes me think a train is barrelling down the tracks!! EVERY element of this band is without a doubt top shelf. Multi taskers, always, always involved!

Stuart’s guitar playing blends beautifully with her voice, and when he plays the sax, does it get any better than that? Those two are heaven to my ears. The entire band is phenomenal.

This song and Sade's voice takes you on a hypnotic journey. Love the smoothness of her voice and the sincerity. and she doesn't do any vocal gymnastics like some current singers. Didn't know a lot about her, but now would listen all day. The band's backing and sound is so cool and not overdone. Love the bassist who plays a lot of lead parts. Just wonderful.

I had the Japanese album both CD and vinyl and you hear the instruments strong just like the live shows. Never had the American one.
