As a kid born into poverty in one of the UK's most deprived cities ( Birmingham ) in the 80's this song really resonates with me on such a profound and emotional level and also with so many decent working class and ethnic minority kid's born into similar circumstances like mine that have encountered similar social and economic disadvantages during that period growing up in England kids who literally had nothing but hardship yet still aspired to work hard and educate themselves out of poverty ? It was tough , draining and challenging but i managed to do it thanks to surrounding myself with kids who were smarter and more ambitious than me and poor uneducated parents who worked hard for pittance and yet still pushed me to excel myself at school academically and now years later whenever i hear this track its quite soul destroying , tearful and sad to hear this track as its a prime example of how tough life is if your born into poverty and the odds are stacked against you.

That feeling of first time motherhood is heaven on earth, there is nothing that will ever match that moment. I was 42 when I had my daughter, she’s 18 now, can honestly say meeting my husband and having her was the best thing in life

Changer
I assume why we push to change everything
I want to forget skin color for hope's sake
But too many strong feelings about race crush hope
I want to see the doors flung wide open
between friends to talk openly about all of their pains and joys
to let flow all information that (unites) won't divide us
The last line is very interesting. "let flow info that doesn't divide us" meaning "if we care enough to talk about our problems they won't be problems". The more we discourse the more we realize we are the same "au coeur". This is so true. The story of humanity is so sad, but it doesn't have to be this bad.

"The Future Is in Our Hands
Though we don’t know each other
We are both protected in mercy by the Creator
Our cultures differ
Yet our values are universal
At the end times, we’re all waiting for Him to save and to strengthen
Humankind has reached the final moment in history
Because of this, I tell you the truth
Modern notions and conduct are eroding humanity
Atheism has people running away from Gods
The theory of evolution is devaluing life
Amid kindness and evil, Gods are selecting lives
The Fa [Heavenly Law] boat that saves won’t delay when it leaves

This wonderful song reminds me of the nineties, my teenage years and of happiness.
Happiness will follow you always. Cheers!
I was right there with you, my friend. Back when MTv still played music videos. Before the internet and social media.
reminds me of no big brother no mobiles just a walk in the street and a chat to someone random no technology no pressure ah the good old days 😁
1997 I remember watching this on VH1 late night while studying for exams in college. Good classic. Has many meanings to it.

I think it's the most unexpected yet genius vocals combination... a perfect duo

Yes I agree.
I first heard this song in 1993. And here I am in 2021. Some things re just timeless.
I recall it was on an album dedicated to Aids. I think I heard it around 91 IS that possible? Working in a Sydney pharmacy.
It's not possible, it was released in '94 lol
@@aubreymarshall3314 lol maybe it was 94 I'm not sure coz I was young. I stand to be corrected

That feeling of first time motherhood is heaven on earth, there is nothing that will ever match that moment. I was 42 when I had my daughter, she’s 18 now, can honestly say meeting my husband and having her was the best thing in life
Thats beautiful

I'm 40 and this is by far the most brilliant piece of music I have had the privilege to hear and still to this day, It'd have to be the most moving and inspiring song In history. In my opinion anyway
I'm sure you also like "in the mood for love" :)
I'm stepping closer to 70th yr of music. Eclectic, diversity of all since I purchased my 1st album at age 3
Still have the original purchase, & thousands collected after. Brilliant unique always seem to grow in magnificence with comparisons made of generations who were exposed yrs later to brilliance. Expanding the palate of knowledgeable art(s) openly available.
