      I would save up and actually go to a professional salon. These at home IPL devices are kind of gimicky and take much more consistent effort to see any difference in, and can lead to ingrown hairs and razor rashes from over shaving. They also don’t come with protective eyewear which is super dangerous.

    • @fReAkLaNcEr123
      @fReAkLaNcEr123 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It depends on the IPL's joules.
      The old one which she is using is 19j while the new one is 21 which isn't much, but it's stronger, so it takes less time.
      If you're going to be having the one she's using,
      You have to use it 3-4 times a week for 4 weeks, then gradually decrease it to 2 times the next 2-3 months and once or twice monthly afterward.
      The newer version is faster as it counts by weeks.
      Like you use it every other day for 2 weeks.
      Twice a week the rest of the month then maintainance of once a month.

      from what i understand.. it’s so you can target the root (bulb) area of the hair follicle. kinda like a plant. if you keep stressing out the roots (with heat)- the plant will eventually stop growing.
      for some reason it worked better when i shaved AFTER IPL on my leg hairs tho. i’m medium skin tone and my hairs are medium dark so 🤔

    • @daniellemartin9896

    Go girl for shaving your armpits and showing your tips. It’s clear that this is your own decision!! However, it is crazy to me the amount of products there are and all the money many women spend in shaving totally natural body hair not for themselves but for matching the feminine beauty standards :(

    • @RinaDasler

      Actually women do it for themselves only. What’s wrong with caring for your own body?

    • @sp00kee22
      @sp00kee22 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RinaDasler some women do it for themselves, but I’d say 80% of women do it for social pressure. If you shave because you feel like doing it, that’s great! But that’s usually not the case. Many women shave because of female body hair stigma, social pressure and body trends.
      As a woman I’m currently learning to decide when I want to shave. If I’m going to the beach and I have hairy armpits but I don’t have the time or I don’t feel like removing that hair, I won’t. In this case, many women would try to hide the hair or not go to the beach at all. It’s harder than it looks because many of us have been pressured to shave since we’re really young. And, again, if you’re comfortable with shaving regularly and you enjoy the process, go girl! But if you feel like you’re really not doing it for yourself but rather for what other people could say, maybe it’s time to give yourself the space to decide whether or not you should let your body hair grow for as long as you want.
