🦋 You are beYoutiful inside and out; I love you!
I started IPL over 15 years ago. I reduced scaring, spider veins, hairs, and dark spots all over my body. I stopped razoring my legs and armpits 2 years into using it. I got rid of my hair on my hands, arms, feet, and toes. I also got rid of a mole on my shoulder that had the random hairs growing out of it. I continue using it to reduce acne scars on my face around my mouths and on my cheeks.
Which one did you use?
Yeah, tell us
Does it create smooth skin on your face & chin????
aren't you supposed to avoid using it on moles? is it safe?
Please tell us😢
I actually bought my ulike because of your reviews you’ve done and LADY!!! I’m obsessed with it! Literally my legs feel like BUTTER, and I use it on my underarms and I have hyperpigmentation there and I swear my skin is lightening. It’s really good. Thank you.
Which Ulike device did you get? ☺️
@@bethanysmith4349 I have the ulike air 3…I freaking adore it. I would pay like $150 for laser treatments at a local med spa and this has paid for itself several times over at this point. I love my ulike. I just wish it had a bigger window to cover more surface area and keep the same strength. It can take a lot of time to do your legs.
Wondering the same!
I just bought mine for the same reason. It comes tomorrow.
This is bs because it takes a really long time to be hair free from ipl.
I had it done profesionally and it took 2 years with frequent sessions with PROFESSIONAL grade equipment. So this is a flat out lie 😂😂😂😂
Cass, I can’t thank you enough for posting this. I’ve been slightly using my ipl for things other than hair removal. I hate that I missed this right when it posted!!! I really didn’t want to use my ipl until I got advice from you!!!
Same, but inconsistently and I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Plus my device is generic
FYI: "Performing treatment on an unshaved area can lead to more complications. The long dark hair lying on the skin absorbs the energy and may burn the epidermis." (p. 81) Fodor, L., Ullmann, Y., & Elman, M. (2011). Aesthetic applications of intense pulsed light (pp. 11-20). London:: Springer.
This devoce has done wonders! I love it. I wish i could show pictures
I have been using my IPL for around 12 weeks and most of the hair is gone or thinner/ softer. I will be trying it out on my acne scars next time🤩
What device are you using?
@@andreacoraspegranda1565 Braun Silk·expert Pro 3
did you try it in your acne scars? do you see any improvement? :)
I have wanted to get Ulike so badly. I hope to buy one soon!! Thank you for making this video!!
It worked great for me.
if you sign up for emails they will send you like 80-90 bucks off ! at Easter they sent a $100 coupon! I waited for that. it was still expensive but I feel like it's worth it for the best version of this Device out right now
This is amazing! I already have a device (the purple one that you're using, actually) for hair removal, but there are definitely other things on that list that I need help with.
I’ve been using an IPL device for hair removal for about 2 years, with varying consistency on my part. My armpits and vulva are 95% hairless at this point. A few months ago I heard about using it for spider veins, which I have had a BAD cluster of on one leg since childhood. Because of it I’ve always hated showing my legs and avoided it. I’ve started using my IPL device on the veins and have seen improvements already.
Thank you for explaining this!
i bought the purple holiday set for christmas! i am now excited for it's other uses lol
I have to say that after using the Braun IPL device on my body for around 9 months now, it has definitely reduced and thinned out or even annihilated hair growth in some areas. it is still a somewhat patchy result which is to be expected I guess, but with patience and awareness of the hair growth cycle and how long it will actually take for everything to be smooth, this is a great product!
I also have the Braun IPL and have been using it every week for the last 8 months (1 month break in the middle). Next to the Sorel winter boots, the ar home IPL is the single best thing that’s ever happened to me! I am in my late 30s, middle eastern and have cried over unwanted body/ facial hair for the majority of my life. That has all changed now and I’m excited for the drastic changes in my confidence and lifestyle.
The braun definitely works! This thing she’s pushing is much weaker and I doubt it works as well
@@viperdriver5693 do you mean the ULIKE? Or which one? Both brands have recently released an updated version of their respective devices, so it's still out which brand now has the best ones! I have only heard good things about the ULIKE previous models before aswell, especially because they are cooling and dont hurt. Both can be a great choice!
Yes let’s the armpit before and after thank you for this review
I’d love if you could weigh in on whether this is safe for use on the face while using a retinoid, thanks!
I got one in Jan and have been documenting it. Results are insane! Why didn’t I do this sooner.
I actually used my IPL last nite ! I have the exact one you have & I absolutely love it ! 🥰💝☃️
Just bought my ulike. Thank you, I will cancel my varicose spider vein appt now!
I got the purple ulike because of you! I was great about using it frequently and it definitely worked but then I started forgetting and got out of the habit 😂😂
I have some acne scars of my cheek I’m going to try it on tonight!
Could you try on spider veins or dark spots? ❤
Cassandra, you are beautiful! I also love your voice!
Cass, I’m receiving my delivery today, I made the purchase after watching your videos about this product. I done in office laser before and is the best money spent in my life I bought this device for maintenance hair do grow back but very little and light.
Update I qualify for a return of the Air 3 for for Air 10 are you reviewing the new device the new one is so powerful OMG😮IM IN LOVE 🙌🏼
Hi Can you please tell us how do you like it?
@@user-nz2vv4rf6s really like it but I have to mention I had professional laser hair removal done before I use this devise for maintenance and is very good for me for that purpose i change the air 3 for the air 10 in my opinion is better
I didnt know all these uses!!! Can I use it on my whole face then ? I have some melasma
Does it's help the acne scars?
The wavelength needed for hair vs veins vs skin are all different. I believe hair is the highest wavelength needed, I’m curious if since it’s highest off it does work for the others as well. I haven’t been able to find any definitive answers on that.
IPL is a range of wavelength between 500 to 1200nm. The energy level for home device probably not strong enough to have a dramatic result instantly like the one in the derma office. But I think for continuous use, you will see results combine with retinol and AHA for faster cell turnover.
I've bought Ulike IPL because your videos :D
Could I use Ulike at my acne scars while taking accutane?
Hi. You have fun energy! I like it. Just got a Ulike and I’m quite surprised I’m not finding more videos on forearms and buttocks. Anyone have experience? My forearms are not too bad but they are more hairy than ideal for me. I have no idea how to treat my butt cheeks without a gal pal helping me. Any advice?
squat position and mirror on bottom 😅
I hope you do a follow-up on these uses. All the information I have found from the "experts", claim the at home devices don't have the appropriate wavelength to address anything but hair removal.
I received this device early January, so not even a month (it feels a lot longer because it's a like chore to use it so frequently). It is still early to say as I still have to shave every two days in order to use the device, so I can't really see any hair growing in my legs in such a short period of time between shaves, but I have noticed my bikini line hairs are growing a lot slower than before. This is an area that I have to shave everyday if I'm on the beach, but since using IPL I'd probably shave now every 2 or 3 days. It also helped with ingrown hair in that area after shave. I haven't see any change in aging spot on my hand and spider veins on my face and legs, and my bikini line skin is stlil dark - but then, it might take years of using it constantly before I can see any changes
@@cinukcan I ask you how it helped with ingrown hairs? I have very deep ingrown hairs that I can’t bring to the surface and was wondering If ipl could help with that or If it’s just preventing them and not solving issues that I already have
@@hiro199 I never had deep ingrown hairs, but I don't get ingrown hairs at all, but I'm not sure how it works for deep ingrown hairs
My mom also has varicose veins! she had it for the longest of time and shes kinda insecure about it during the summer sadly but we can totally test these out for you!!!!
Yesss pls dooo
Omg me too, especially when summer comes. I can’t barely wear anything for my legs to show 😢. I would like to buy this device
WHATS THE ULDATE

I have one and it actually really works! Love it!
I bought Ulike and I can't wait to try it tomorrow..!! also girl you're glowing!we need to know your current skincare routine

Removed spider veins?
@@Mimi-jg4xy it worked for me, I’ve no hair on my legs
I just bought the ULIKE and tried it today. It didn’t hurt at all!!!
Im so happy to hear! Can't wait to hear how it goes for you over a few weeks!
I was totally not aware it can be used for varicose veins?!?! 😮😮
ive been using the purple ulike for the past week and its great!! no noticeable results yet (because only a week) but im making sure to be very thorough and do it every other day so in a few weeks if anyone wants to hear about my (unsponsored ;) results feel free to ask!! Im currently doing my face, legs, arms, underarms and bikini line with fair skin and dark hair for reference :)
I'm interested in getting one for my skin texture on my face so that it will smooth it. Are you still liking yours?
Hi, any updates?
Any update?
Got mine in January I can definitely see a difference I think fingers and toes are done. No hair.
Is it worth trying?
Can it help reduce light wrinkles? or is a laser treatment the better way to go?
Just started with my ulike air3 on body hair… now i hope it also helps my veins and spots!
Does anyone have a good results on spider veins and teleangiektasia? And with what device? What would be the best one😮
That's interesting. I've never thought that IPL can be used for so many different purposes. I'm planning on buying Foreo's Peach this year. Has anyone else tried it?
horse chestnut cream and supplement paired with burgers exercise fixes various veins which are different from spider veins
Would it be helpful for scleroderma?
Would love to be your tester if you think it’s worthwhile
is this also safe to target redness on the entire face?
I have PCOS with hirsutism, so that's fun. I got a Ulike and of course it was the purple one lol I didn't want the pink either but the green was pretty tho, but anyways great video I might use my mom as a guinea pig for her varicose veins and leathery skin I forgot what you called it, boy she did the tanning beds and the sun. Smh
I just found out I have hirsutism. Is there anything you’ve tried that helped?
@ilovemymommy7470 laser hair removal, and my gynecologist put me on metformin, and the lady that did my laser treatment said her daughter has it too and is on spironolactone for it but that's all I know of sorry
@@LadyJadiAfina1989how is the Ulike IPL working for your Hirutism?
How well is the Ulike working for you? I have PCOS and hirsutism too. I’ve had laser hair removal that’s was awesome but I can’t afford any more of it 😢
@@amgbeastz it's going good so far 👍
Have you tried the IPL machine brand Comforth Scandinavia?
Thank you! ❤ Great info. Just clarfying: Once a day, every day for 12 weeks?
Thanks goodness! That was my question!!
There's a schedule with ulike, 3 x a week for first 2 weeks, 2 x a week for weeks 3-5 then i think 1 time a week after, I'm not at that point yet!
Does it help surgery scars?? I wonder how long you have to wait after surgery to use it
Does it work on hyperpigmentation on neck and elbows? Someone please reply.
6:09 this is why compression socks are good for u!! I wear them to work. Yes i get made fun of 😅 but i dont care. My feet hurt so much less, theyre so much less bloated...my feet dont throb in pain. No, its not sexy, but theres ways to hide it, & they also have knee high ones on amazon.
(Ive always had drainage issues. I do lymphatic drainage for my body every day now. & compression socks just make my results last longer, & it keeps the fluid from building. AND helps with veins.!!! )
Got this one a month ago. I'm kind of lazy so I'm not really that consistent, but I've seen great hair reduction in my arms even with only just a few treatments. I got the holiday edition too LOL.
How long did it take for you to start seeing a reduction?
Hi Love.. It is Iggy Sky... Great video.. Okay ill try one out using your link.. Thankyou.. Hope to have lunch with you one day soon.. This time its on me... Cheers.
I have brown skin that's like the 4 maybe 5 and I have thick black hair on my face. I would be so consistent and I'm so desperate to get a gifted ipl device. My life is very hard. My facial hair is not hormonal. It's so hard I grown from cheeks chin and neck. Please if anyone could help or point me in a direction.
There was no mention of it being able to be used on a scalp so I'm curious if that's possible? I'm a balding guy and I would at this point just like to be completely bald as my head does look better shaved but I hate how regularly I have to get a trimmer or a razor to my head.
Has anyone tried this under their eyes for dark circles? I’ve had it done professionally 5 years ago and it worked great, but I recently acquired the at home IPL device. If I can just buy those small eye goggles it would be cost effective than going professionally.
How would you use it on varicose vains? I hate mine and been rejected for surgery...
Would this work to help with red veins around the nose?
Can you try kemei please and tell us if it works.. i can't afford the devices that you mentioned and they are not available in my country neither i can order them
Wow I've just bought mine .I used it on a large brown dark spot on my cheekbone. How often should I zap I? Can I use it on my laughter lines ? How often you recommend for facial lines? I suppose it can't harm as long as I follow manufacturers instructions!
i have been using it on my face for 5weeks now. Noticed that it made my acne dark spots a little lighter
Cassandra, I have elastosis on my chin that looks like orange peel & would love to try this IPL device. I'm 76 but feeling 56. If you would like to sell your Ulike, I would like to buy it, please!!!! I want to be your gunnie pig & am willling to take pictures... Thank you!!!! How does your mom like the Ulike IPL device?
Is this safe to use on the face while using tretinoin cream?
I have one and interestingly, my acne has gone down too!!!
But don’t know if I noticed any hair loss yet since I just started it
I get IPL on my face at my salon every fall/winter season and I love it! It’s been the only thing that I’ve had done consistently and I truly believe it helped my face not fall down and sag when I lost 30 kg over 12 months. I see improvement in evenness and firmness from those treatments and it never irritates my thin and sensitive skin.
What if you have reddish hair? I have some hairs on my chin, but it’s ginger in color. I also have vericose veins by working in the hospital. Would you recommend this?
No, it doesn't work on red hair.
Review ipl devices. Online and on the boxes it will show you what hair and skin colours they work on. Some devices work on red hair so it's a matter of research
Wait ! You can use the Ulike for spider veins on your face ??
Cassandra, what goggles for eye safety do you recommend? I just got a Rose Skin device but I'm scared to use it with any protection. Love your videos ❤
If IPL works to collapse varicose veins, could it also work on cherry angiomas?
I would love for this to be answered! I’m scared to be the first to try it because it’s on my chest lol.
Can you do this in areas while using prescription tretinoin cream
Can this be used for the hairline?
I just wanted to ask about maintaining a skin caee routine with retinoids while using an IPL?
I first started to think about the home ipl device after one blogger I watch started promoting kenzzi but then I researched a bit, including your videos and got a Ulike) I'm good at routines so I've been using it religiously 3 times a week, it's now my 4th week. The only thing that bothers me is that I have birthmarks, only one of them too dark for IPL to hurt on my leg, I usually avoid it and color it with a white pencil. But I'm generally concerned if it's safe to use frequently even on the lighter birthmarks. I also have some varicose veins but haven't seen any reduction on them yet. But I assume I have a long way to go still)
You did good by covering it with a white pencil. Never use a black or dark color to write on your body for ANY laser treatments
@@BeeLZBeebuse a white eyeliner. To protect your moles. It will usually hurt over a mole because it targets melanin.
@@BeeLZBeebif your mole is colorless then maybe you don’t need to cover but I would do it just in case.
Would u mind telling me which brand of ipl would work better on brown skin with thivk black hair !? Coz am confused at this point..
How often can you use it? The instructions say not to use it more than twice a week max. But it sounds like everyone is using it almost daily for these other purposes. Would like to know how often everyone has been using it with zero side effects
Will it work to improve skin texture (mostly enlarged pores)?
Do you know if this will work in treating ichthyosis vulgaris on the legs?
If I have peach fuzz on the face and want to use it for acne or wrinkles. Do I ahve to shave that preach fuzz?
Does it work on freckles? Also what about ginger hair?
Does it help with keratosis pilaris? I have a bad case of it...
I would love to know the answer to this as well!
What about Vectus laser which is different than IPL
Intending to get IPL professionally done for my rosacea ❤
As someone who has had dozens of IPL treatments for my Rosacea, I will attest to this: It DOES work! Also, Candela V-Beam laser will work as well (I am currently using this)
@@Jasmine215100 Thank you Jasmine for your feedback ❤️ Im even more motivated to splurge on it 😭🤣
Can I use the Ulike device on acne scars on my face while on accutane?
If accutane makes you more sensitive to sunlight I would not. As this device can give you a “sunburn”.
What level would you use on 1. dark spots 2. Broken capillaries 3. lighten stretch marks. (Mine are fairly light already.)
TIA 😊
Start at level 1. Work way up. When zap becomes painful you know it’s too much. Only use level that is comfortable. Your body is telling you to stop. It may take longer at lower setting, but it’s better than getting burned. Everyone’s sick is different. Even different areas of your body feel different. Listen to your body.
@@amyyoung2455 thank you so much! 😊
I’m cystic. That is my skin just loves to create little tiny cysts just under my skin layer that I’m constantly fighting with exfoliating acids. Could IPL or EMF break down the little cysts?
Try no dairy for a month, I was cystic and have tons of scaring.. once I let up on the dairy things improved. I think it’s something to do with the hormones they give the cows to make them produce more milk. 🤷🏻♀️I think that because now I have way less PMS symptoms as well.
Do not use IPL devices while using acids/peels. My pamphlet that came with the decide says that it can make you more prone to a “sunburn” with the device. Not even salicylic acid body wash or creams can be used. I had to stop using for 2 weeks before being able to use my device for the first time.
Can IPL be used for broken capillaries on the face? If so I am willing to be a guinea pig for this 🤩
Did you try it on your face? 😅 I just got my device and I also have many telangiectasia on my cheeks.
@@fariharaza9618did you ever try it ?! I’m looking to get a device for this
Is the green and gold model good too?
How did you not know IPL helped all those things since you’ve used it in clinic for so long ? I’m surprised. But I guess there’s a lot to learn . I’ve been wondering why nobody ever brings up these devices unless hair removal is being talked about. They can make your skin look AMAZING. But I don’t want to pay $500 a pop for in office treatments. I’ve been wondering if it just HAS to be specific wavelengths for specific concerns.
Yesh, kind of a weird statement from Cassie...
I’m guessing she probably said that just for the video? It does cause people to leave comments and boost the algorithm…like we are doing 😂
As a woc with quite stubborn hair growth, ipl didn't really work much at all. It just spaced out the sessions a little bit more than say waxing. I have the Braun one and have done 18 sessions (nov 2022 onward) and there seems to be no difference on the hair thickness at all for me.
If you only did 18 Sessions between Nov 22 and now it's no surprise that you didn't get good results 😂
You will probably not see any results from IPL if you are WOC. You need to treat hair with a special laser only available at the hair removal salons. As IPL only works if there’s a stark contrast between hair color and skin color. Whereas Laser targets the hair specifically.
I have the BRAUN ipl and it’s been the best investment for me im on week 3 and already seeing results
Giordano, I want to invest in Braun brand IPL. Have you used at bikini area? And does it have a coolant in it. I'm scared as I don't want to burn myself. Your input would be appreciated.
@@ansingh6919 yes I have and it doesn’t have a coolant air coming out but it does have settings and I don’t tolerate pain to well and I love it
@@ansingh6919i just got my ulike air3. I have been trying it on special places on the low setting, nice and cool no pain… hopefully will see results but that remains to be seen over time.
Can someone answer my question if I'm just doing it for acne scars on my face do I still have to shave my face? Even though those aren't darker hairs?
My mom has solar elastosis and is willing to test.
I just got mine, i only been using it for 2 times but it gets really hot, i have to stop after 5 minutes, is that normal or is not working properly??? Appreciate if you clear my question!
Please don’t tell me this Bc u just change my life ♥️♥️♥️
Question, how do you even laser your mustache since your nose would block the IPL device and not get the very top part of the mustache
Answer is you can’t. But those hairs close to your nose can be taken off with dermaplane or other hair removal methods. I’ve been working on my mustache but good thing is the hairs in the corners of the mouth tend to be darker/longer and those are easy to reach
What's the difference between the Sapphire and the Air 3? 🤔
And I'll be your guinea pig! I volunteer! 🙋🏽♀️😆
I have albinism but after I started testosterone I also started growing brown hair on my face and legs so I wonder if it’ll deal with the wiry darker hair but leave the blonde hair
My guess is the same, it won't do anything to the blond hair, very little contrast
If i have light skin and hair, can I still use it for veins and scars...?
I have bought an Ulike bcs of your reviews, mainly for my rosazea. How many times should i use this to see results? Daily?
I don’t think daily with rosacea sounds like a good idea. Maybe try 3x a week and go from there? Did you look into red light therapy?
Can you tell me how to cover moles? Someone said use white eyeliner?
I use IPL on my face but I also use adapelene so its a bit here and there when I use it. But I use IPL a night when I am not using differin.
Why not the pink one?
Can anyone share if the underarm hair removal is permanent after using? Just wondering will it grow back?
So I can use this to lighten my lips?
Would this work on stretch marks too?!
I sure hope so!
Hope you reply. I had veins removed on face by a dermatologists. Day 1 veins gone day 2 veins back but much more prominent. Is this normal ? Im on day 3 veins are very red and worse
Same thing happened to me except my veins didn’t get worst they just came right back :p two sessions, spent 300$ , just for them to be back within a month. I bought this device hoping it works.
