It is a *gorgeous* amp inside and out. When I see white, I usually assume it is a marine amp but not so with B2. Great powder coat finish on the outside and very slick PCB inside. Decades ago, Precision Power's amps were white with some crazy colorful art on them. Class AB old school. I am glad to see B2, Mosconi, D'Amore, D4S take that approach today.
Agree with the "almost never" on strapping amps. The only scenario I could imagine is if you had *one* mega huge high power handling sub that had a single voicecoil. But every sub I have seen in the last 20 years larger than 8" - they all have dual voice coil. So just connect one amp per coil and your done. But as I am watching this, I agree - it is fun just to show how it can be done.
That is an odd setup. Even though the terminal on the slave is "positive" it is actually putting out a negative signal relative to the positive terminal of the master amplifier. Not that amplifiers CARE, they are just putting out alternating current waveforms as instructed. The output from the master to slave RCA must invert the polarity relative to the input on the master. What was impressive was 3900 watts into 4 ohm.

If you look at Steve's and Big D's testing, some of their tests (depending on the amplifier) will go down to 0.5 ohm on the AD-1 Amp Dyno even if the manufacturer does not recommend it. All of the quality amps *if* needed will go into protection mode no problem. There was an older amp from Taramps (Brazil) that blew up on the bench and actually caught fire --- cannot remember if that was Big D or Budget Gem that did that test but it was ugly. That was the only time I have seen it.
most bass boosted songs don’t have a clean signal going out, so it’s doesn’t matter if the gains were set correctly. it will still just send a bad signal to the speakers and amp.

Could be the dyno and the amps going into clipping. Many class D boards will "buzz" going into clipping. Ive noticed the dyno does it at times also.

I set my amp with the DD1 correctly, but when I play those bass boosted songs it clips
most bass boosted songs don’t have a clean signal going out, so it’s doesn’t matter if the gains were set correctly. it will still just send a bad signal to the speakers and amp.
