This little thing truly impressed me! So much power in a small case. And i tested it over and over and over again (off and on camera) just to see how it would hold up. It didn't even blink an eye. During heavy testing it got a little warm but on music it didn't get warm at all. Took it like a champ! It moved that 135lb sub and pushed it to it's limit like it's nothing!

I guess us old school folks are going to have to get use to smaller Amps being that powerful compared to some of the Giants back in the day just for a couple hundred watts lol. Great video
Damn. That little amp was really putting out over 3k real time power at well over 1 ohm. It was at 1.4 to 1.6 ohms still showing 3100-3200 watts. I know the amp dyno didn't show it certified and it barely missed 3k uncertified, but the real time power on the AD-1 says that amp definitely does its 3k watts in real music situations.
Absolutely! That's why i showed the realtime sub numbers also. To prove my point about the dynamic burst RMS test. People think it's peak and the numbers don't mean much. But it is actually a fast RMS and nothing like "peak". :)

Heck yeah, people may not like the dynamic test results but for me personally if an amplifier has a higher dynamic then what it tells me is that it's a solid built amp that will last and has plenty of headroom....

Sheesh! That little amp so powerful & was very shocking to see it do all of that definitely worth the money didn’t really know anything about it years back but now it’s probably top 20 in my book

Really got to hand it to SMD and D'Amore on the amp Dyno I put that right up there with the clip indicator & Brazilian/full bridge amp technologies has some of the most beneficial innovations for the end user/consumer

Dam that new design looks better than the 1600.1d evo that I had amp didnt seem to even clip in the slightest either while playing music. Currently running a taramps smart 3 tho as I needed more power.

The size of the amps nowadays is crazy. Tiny enough to run a little 1000w rms inside the box and make a descent single sub amplified box.

Hey Steve! loved the video, i was wondering, i have laying around evo 5 3000.1 2 ohm amp, i was planning to run it with a dual 2 ohm sub, hooking to 1 ohm final load, do you think these little beasts could take it, even though its 2 ohm version? Maybe with music playing the impendance would rise up to at least 2 ohms.

It is impressive to an extent to see these small amps putting big power, but I would like to see the longevity of these. Most people probably would be running these at lowest impedance to get most power out. That's a lot of stress on the amp and electrical plus sq I'm sure would not be the greatest.

All these 3k brazilian amps recommend 4ga wire. Pushing mine with 2ga spartan weld cable. Stetsom FTW!

Brasilian boys loves some loud music but we are dirty broke, so brazilian companies are making magick out of class D tecnology, theres about no class a/b amps on brazilian market today, but theres a big market for classD amps, Taramps, SD, Banda, Stetson, Corzus, Falcon etc all lof them are making some good quality and affordable "Digital" amps.
You don't ever have to apologize for noise from your shop being active.. it's no prob bro

full range amps usually lower the power at lower frequencies, it has to do with the crossover filtering, can't have the best of both worlds. I guess that is why you see a higher wattage from the full range.
