Yeah. Just like mine, I bought the clubman one in 2012 and it never disappoints me. It provides you comfort throughout the service until now. Less maintenance and the availability of parts in the market is always there, hassle-free. It's pricey but worth it. Believe me.

I think this car is for fun😁 It's recommended for 1-2 person inside with very light shopping bags at the back. It's perfect as a service car toward work, a 2nd car or just a drive around car to relax and enjoy😊

These kinds of cars are great to own 5 to 8 yrs (or earlier) then sell it for another upgrade. Keeping it longer and when those hi tech features begin to fail it will be for sure an expensive repairs/replacements (also the parts availability).
Mga bumibili nito after 3-5 yrs palit kotse na. Di to para sa mga gusto ng kotse na aabot hanggang sa apo nila

Just driven over 4000 miles in a cooper s manual convertable around Europe..Loved every minute. Also got 15 k in speeding fines..Oops!
Here in Italy it costs right about 27k euros or 1.5M pesos compared to 3.1M there. the Mini clubman is just 34k euros or about 2M pesos. so yeah, overpriced there because of customs and tax.
FINALLY! A car that's worthy of Caco after a while but listening to him in this review sounded like he was describing himself. LOL BTW - which one would you love to drive? The Mini or the MX5?

Was actually thinking about this as well throughout the whole video. The MX5 and the base 3-door Mini Cooper aren't too far away in terms of pricing. And IIRC, Caco was also all praises when he reviewed the MX5 RF a while back. Would love to hear your choice, Caco!
I drove both, the Mini and the MX-5 as i was choosing my first car.
Here in Europe these car are not really pricey, for example a kia Stonic cost about the same.
These cars are really different, but here my opinion.
Both are really good cars.
The Mini is for sure more pratical (with it’s limits), has better overall build quality and has a bit more tech.
Speaking of how they drive, the mini is more stiff, you feel more the small imperfection of the road but not in a annoying way, brake feel is better, clutch is harder, the manual has a bit too long stick, the steering is quicker and the car tend to lift up his inside back wheel when you brake and start the turn with a understeer behavior during the turn, the engine is a lot torquey, you have 300Nm just at 1.300 rpm so the car is a lot zippier in the city, downside it start to decline at 5.000 rpm on a 6.000 redline.
The mazda has a softer steering wheel, the gear stick is the best you can find on a normal brand car, the car is less stiff but that don’t mean it has more lateral roll, thanks to it’s weight, wich make the car also more agile in fast changing of direction, it has 50/50 weight distribution so is a lot more neutral behavior and it’s rwd so has more oversteer than understeer, the engine is N/A so it feel a lot slower, the power output is proportional to the rpm, so you have to keep high rpm if you want to go fast, plus the sound at 7.000 rpm is heaven.
In conclusion:
Mx-5 is a more pure, neutral(in a good way) rwd driving experience, but not so pratical.
The Mini is more a children toy, a little road go kart, but also a “car” so it’s a bit usable for trips with some luggage, bike or ski.
Both are fun in a different way, i personally chose the Mini and i’m loving every time i drive it.

2007-2012 models specifically have the most issues, mainly transmission issues, than other models. These days, those issues are mostly fixed.
