Thanks for posting the correct info. Rumor is not all 150 STSs were made/sold, so Lambo created the SC to burn through their stock of leftovers, as the cars are mostly the same, other than colors (SCs were yellow only). 31 STSs came to the States.
The original gallardo and superlegerra had a Lamborghini produced 5.0 even-fire V10. It is in my opinion one of the best if not the very best sounding cars ever made once the restrictive cats are removed. (Look up Effspot’s FMU exhaust superleggera and you will 100% agree) The LP Lamborghinis such as this one share the same Audi manufactured odd-fire 5.2 V10 that is much more reliable and a better engine, but sounds nowhere near as good. Edit: Hey Doug you should review a manual pre LP gallardo ! And if you could manage to find and drive one of the 10 Manual pre LP superleggeras ever made, that would be even crazier and probably one of the rarest cars ever featured on the channel!!!
I absolutely love the return to doing videos outside! Seeing the cars outside in the real world helps give better perspective on all the cool styling and details versus seeing it cars too close up with artificial lighting in the studio garage. Thanks for so many years of awesome Doug! ❤
The gallardo is my favorite Lamborghini It's approachable enough to be a reasonable purchase while using almost entirely audi parts to keep maintenance affordable. Not to mention the gated 6-speed manual option and the aftermarket support
The one Hoovie had is my dream car (for Lambos). That blue, the wheels, and the white interior. Absolute dream machine. Don't care if its considered 'slow' by today's standards. Wouldn't even mod it.
I always watch these videos, learning all these new things, as if I'll ever need the information, knowing full well I'll never even see, let alone touch, one of these cars. And I think that's the best quirk of this feature.
Seeing and touching supercars are quite easy. Just go visit a secondhand supercar dealer. Walk through the showroom. Some even have commercial cafes built into the dealership. There is almost no need to go to car shows these days.

Fun fact: since 2004 Italian police has some Lambos in its fleet with a full blue-white police livery on them. They're mainly used for highways patrol but more importantly to deliver organs for transplant (this happened 242 times already!). Currently they have a couple of Huracan LP610-4 and Urus Performate. Cheers from Italy ✌️🇮🇹
While the gimmick is cool, an audi diesel s6 would deliver just as fast and probably better for any task. That's just marketing, no one is delivering organs at 300km/h in Italy nor would it make sense to do it with a sports car
I know a guy who has this exact same car. He drives it every event unless he takes his murci. Sich a beautiful car, and such an awesome dude for not just letting collect dust in a garage
I would probably get crap for this but I always thought the Gallardos look better than the Murcis. The Diablo is my favorite Lamborghini of all time and I think the Aventador looks wild but the Merci just never looked right to me
@@muhidnaveed2617 I agree with 4R4S. They have too many clashing body lines now. The Gallardo had cleaner surfaces, less disruption from its own styling.

His inside garage videos would work if the lighting was better and sound, but yes outdoors are better

Agreed!
