    Die Welt würde anders aussehen wenn es mehr Menschen wie Kris war geben würde. So mancher könnte sich ein Beispiel an ihm nehmen. Danke für deine wundervollen Lieder. Ruhe in Frieden Kris.😢

    Thank you for this video! Kris was always one of my heros and when I heard he had passed, I cried. To me, he is much more of a loss to music than Elvis. There will never be one person to ever compare to his intelligence that puts their heart to music. I’m so thankful he had a good and loving marriage with Lisa and his children. He passed away and , hopefully, he was satisfied with his life. I love you Kris. Thank you for your music and acting. RIP!❤❤

    Kris had a genius of taking the universal truths and speaking them profoundly. I've been an ardant and devoted fan of his for over 50 years. And in the last nearly two weeks since we lost him, I've found myself combing the internet, trying to take in just who this amazingly talented troubador was. And I've discovered he was even more complex than I already knew. I've learned things about his life and heard him say things I somehow never knew or heard before. And I knew and had heard a lot! Not sure even Kris was totally sure what his mission and reason for being here on Earth was, but I know it had to be important. At the very least, he made us look at life more deeply, while at the same time just bringing us pure joy, when we were seeing or even just hearing him. This video explored the depth of his personality and the scope of his music. I've always said Kris could not be pinned down to any one genre or classification of music. Just as there was and likely never will be a human quite like Kris. So, also, his lyrics were a style unto their own. One thing I do know without one doubt, I am so damn grateful I got to share the earth with him for so many years! May you Rest In Peace, Kris, you sweet and brilliant soul!! I do hope you've finally found the Freedom you spent your Earthly life searching for!!

    Courage, deep insight and a big heart. No wonder we love Kris and he unabashedly stood up and said the things we were unable to. He will be missed but he left a legacy of love and beauty. RIP brother ❤

      I'm wondering how old you are, because at least, in the late 1970s and on into the early '90s, Kris was anything but underrated! He was hugely famous and known throughout the world! I'm really not sure who you think he was underrated by? He had a huge fan base, and was also deeply admired by his fellow artists! I suggest you learn more about him if you think he wasn't deeply admired. He was not only an incredible song writer, but also an exceptionally talented actor. So talented that some people were surprised to learn of his vast musical career. His songs were sung by countless country artists but also rock and roll musicians. I don't know, I guess what you're both saying is YOU didn't realize how talented he was, but I can assure you, his multitude of fans, and his fellow musicians definitely valued him! He did somewhat drop out of view while battling some serious health issues, but those of us who knew about him never stopped admiring him. I'm sorry you apparently missed out when he first became known and admired, and that admiration never stopped! He was very highly rated!! Also, anyone who knew anything about his life knew he was recognized as a genius word wise, when he was quite young, and chosen as a Rhodes Scholar, in English Lit.

    Correction: The Highway Men together

    • @charlotte50224
      @charlotte50224 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@DirothyGriffin Interesting. I've never really heard who suggested they do that. I kind of thought Kris was asked to be a part of it by one of the others. I did recently find an interview on here, where he was talking about his time performing with them. He said everytime they performed it just felt unreal to him. He said he couldn't believe he was getting to perform with these 3 men who had long been idols and legends to him! That kind of surprises me he was so awestruck at being a part of that group, because I think at least half the songs they sang, he wrote! So, I found it kind of sad, that he didn't seem to realize a lot of us considered him more talented than any of the other three! And definitely their equal! I mean I loved them all, especially Willie, because he, too, wrote the vast majority of songs he sings. But even he also sang solo, some of Kris's songs! Did you read something that said specifically that Kris was the one who got the four of them singing together?

    • @manelle3836
      @manelle3836 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      seems i heard on one of his interviews it was him KK and willie get four them to form the supergroup

      @@manelle3836actually I think it was Chips Moman who was producing a record for Johnny Cash at the time who suggested they all collaborate on the song Highwayman. After all of them stopped by the studio to visit John.
