I wear makeup just about everyday. When you look good, you feel good. I also always put on either a body spray or perfume as well. Have a wonderful weekend.
I wear makeup nearly everyday. It gives me confidence that’s for sure but I also love the application. I even enjoy taking it off at the end of the day as I feel like I give myself a mini facial every night.
I’m also one of those women who wears makeup nearly every day. I benefit from the boost it gives me when I look a bit better, and I really enjoy working with my products and picking out what shades I want to use. It’s a form of play and just feels good to do. I’m retired and have lived alone now for more than 10 years. It really doesn’t matter if I’m not going to see another soul the entire day; I put on makeup for myself, not for others.
I am exactly the same! I wear it for myself, no one else. I even wore makeup during COVID lockdown. It made me feel better. And I love thinking about what colours I'm going to wear 🤗🌸💕
I love that you showed how much difference a simple, not “over thought” makeup routine can make. The look you achieved is so pretty and fresh. I am over 50 and wear at least a little makeup daily, even if I’m not going anywhere. It makes me feel better. I love thinking of it as a “super power!”
Hi Sue I have loved makeup for forty years 😂. I don’t wear it everyday however, but I do wear it to leave the house. If I am just at home I give my skin a rest from makeup, but I have extremely reactive skin due to rosacea and eczema. I feel more put together and like I can face the world with my makeup on😂, but how much I wear is very dependent on where I’m going and the clothes I’m wearing. I can’t do powder foundation anymore as I have extremely dry skin, but minimal makeup for me is: Green corrector Tinted moisturiser Concealer Tinted brow gel Cream shadow Mascara Cream/liquid blush Tinted lip balm Best wishes x
I’m much younger than you, but I started out watching you from your Mac content and have stayed 🥰. I enjoy wearing makeup because same as you, it’s how I start my day, makes me feel more put together AND I’m a walking billboard for my content 😂. Makeup is my passion and has been since I was a child. I could never give it up. It’s fun, relaxing, mood changing and mood boosting. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I think makeup is an art. I like playing around with it. It’s nice to have a moment to myself. It reflects my moods, the times and what I’ve got going on. Freshes me up and gives me confidence. I don’t judge women who don’t wear makeup, who only wear a little or who wear a lot. I had a friend got annoyed with me for wearing light foundation powder and lip gloss on a hike in the woods. It was just a tiny touch up in case we passed people on the track!!! There have been several studies that prove that women who wear makeup get jobs over women who don’t and sell more products ….I think it communicates something energetically about passion.
Exactly this! Wearing makeup on a walk or a hike would be second nature to me. Because I'm doing it for me, not anyone else. In the same breath, I don't judge anyone who doesn't wear makeup. None of my friends wear makeup and I think they are gorgeous. I see makeup as a hobby and a passion, like reading, painting or playing a musical instrument. It brings me joy. If people see it as vanity, that is their business!
She has amazing skin, but it annoyed me that she insinuated that I was conceited or insecure - think it had more to do with something that was going on with her at the time. ( The ex moved on and was getting remarried ) I don’t know what was going on in my mind when I put makeup on for the hike. Think it’s just my modus operandi to freshen up a little bit before leaving the house. I wasn’t wearing mascara or eyeliner - it was just a touch up!
@@MsActor2009 I would wear sunscreen, mascara, and a touch of blush, myself. Perhaps even a light lipstick or lip balm. I would hate to be judged for that 😭
I wear makeup 5days a week for work,I’m 48 and always loved makeup/perfume/skincare since I started working in the late 90’s and I wear it even more now and still learning . Foundation Brows Blush Eyeliner Mascara Gloss ❤❤ Your makeup is always pretty 😍
What a pretty look Sue! As usual your choice of lipstick colour is mwah! Incredible to see the transformation with so few products. I'm a makeup minimalist at home but decent brows and a coral lipstick are essential I think. You've made me realise I should do more for my own sake. Please say more about colour correctors in an upcoming video? Thanks!
I don't wear makeup very often bc even in my 50's, I still get acne, and makeup products always make it worse. But when I do wear it, I always feel a MILLION times better about myself.
Makeup makes me feel so much better and I wear it every day .... sometimes more and sometimes less - I do enjoy it and love to look at cosmetics when shopping .... I don't need to buy it all the time but it fascinates me - whats new and different. lol

Thanks Milica. Glad you feel the same 😍

I feel the same. Putting on and taking off makeup is like a mini meditation for me!
I like the creative process. It is calming and fun
I agree 💯
You look so lovely! Hugs from Arizona, USA 🌵🤗
Thank you! Hugs from SA 🇿🇦
Yes I definitely feel better when I get my face on 😅. Ready to greet the new day.
Love the title. Make up makes me happy
Mwah 💋😘

Make up is a super power, it can really lift your day and if u put on all your favourite make up u just feel beautiful. Well at least I do ❤❤❤❤

Thank you for your lovely comment. It sounds like your makeup story is very similar to mine! Glad to find another kindred spirit ❤️

Brows make all the difference! Will expand on the colour correctors x

It makes me feel the same!
Recently, I discovered that applying a small amount of olive-toned or mint green concealer around my nose allows me to use less foundation.
Good strategy. Colour correctors can be very useful!
❤❤❤

me too! I wear light make up even when I am home all day. I like how I look in the mirror when I have a bit make up on!
I love playing with makeup in store too. It's one of my favourite past times 😋
