Thanks Kate. Loving the yucca palette 🤗. It was a mission to move all my equipment to the lounge. I quite like the effect but it's chaos to keep everything there!!
Hi Sue isn’t it funny how mascara is such a polarising product 😂? That mascara smudged everywhere on me and went in the bin after one use😂. I’m glad you’re happy with the ND yucca and that was extremely kind of the subscriber to send you it. I have the midi xenon and the retro glam (both being more me on my extremely cool toned skin). I do think they are good quality and last well on a mature eye without a lot of creasing, but some of the shades are very sparkly. I truthfully prefer the Viseart formula and so much less glitter 😂 (however finely milled). I haven’t bought much makeup lately tbh as I have quite a few things I really love already eg dior face and body foundation, glossier cheek tint, Saie cheek tint, hourglass powder, dior backstage eyeshadow and Viseart eyeshadow plus finally a few lipsticks I really like that don’t turn weird shades on me. Best wishes x
Mascara is very polarising indeed. I'm almost out of the telescopic but would like to go back to using the Clarins 4D, when budget allows. I've started really appreciating some high end brands, having always maintained that drugstore mascaras are fine. I eat my words. Like you, I'm also appreciating the quality of good high-end eye shadows. That WnW quintet I used was soon disappointing. I'm so sad they rejigged their formula all those years ago 😭
Thanks for the recommendations! Great video. I’m going to look at the mascara. My EL Sumptuous Extreme is going in the bin. It shifts to my under eye within half an hour and I’m giving up on it. Love your new background. The plant is magnificent!
You’ve sold me on the Redkin. Have been wanting to try that brand for decades! Also, I’m trying to remember the name of a famous brand that uses the same proteins as human hair in their shampoo. Had a friend who was a hairdresser who swore by it as the only shampoo she would ever use! I tried La Roche Posay purifying foaming cream cleanser this month and it was absolutely terrible! It’s the same texture as men’s shaving cream. Not quite as bad as the yellow vitamin C cleanser I tried that resembled dish washing detergent, but it was horrible in its own right. Very disappointed. Being a well known pharmacy brand, I thought I couldn’t go wrong. 😑
I think I may have tried the LP purifying cleanser. I remember that it dried out my skin. It was a bit like dishwashing liquid. I'm interested in the human proteins story. I just love that the Redken doesn't coat the hair with silicons. But it also doesn't dry out the hair. It's great!
I think it may have been Pureology shampoo, however I highly doubt it’s the only shampoo that has the same proteins as human hair. She was a funny lady. Whenever we went to a public pool together she would bring her own roller brush and hairdryer and give herself a blow out, whereas I would leave the pool looking like drowned rat. She would also bring her own scissors when she went to get her haircut and she did Duran Duran’s haircuts for awhile….
@@MsActor2009 this made me smile! I would probably draw the line at taking my hair dryer to a public pool! I like the Duran Duran affiliation though! 😂😂 I've used pureology in the past but I find it quite silicon heavy.
Good video :), I liked the recommendations and the honest feedback. Your background is beautiful!
Thank you 🤗
OMG!!! I have comfort zone! I can’t get rid of it. And my OG walking on eggshells. I’m so glad you mentioned that the formula has changed. Thank you
Comfort zone just goes on and on!!😉
Thanks for the shout out, Sue. So glad the Yucca is giving you all you wanted.
The lighting in the room makes everything look so hygge.
