I'm with Daniel, I'd love to see the body off the 1971 SB! That's the same exact car I have and I'm going to be pulling the body off hopefully over winter break (I'm an elem. teacher). I know you won't have yours off by then but, If it doesn't go well, I can watch what you do and fix my mistakes hopefully!

It's always good seeing what's happening around the shop but you must have really really really long winters where you are with the amount of work you're hoping to get done. 🤗
What I like seeing on the channel is just seeing you struggle and struggle and hopefully come out the other end with a win.

Hi from the UK. Love watching your vids. Currently I have 2 Super Beetles, a '72 classic trials Beetle and a '87 Vanagon Syncro with a custom 2.5 WBX. Would love to see the body off your Super Beetle and the repairs you can then do.
Do it myself? That's certainly a way to guarantee that there will be one less '63 on the road! She (Velma) needs you before the next driving season so I'd like to make my reservation now please. The "State of the Fleet Address" is great. It was good to see the progress that you've made with these familiar specimens as you bring them back from the almost dead. Rita looks real good to me despite what you outline for her future. You know I'm a "stock" kinda guy but I have to tell you that I really love Rita's upholstery! Vavoom!!

Rita is a nice looking car. It looks a lot like my (off-white) '65.
We have a 58 beetle that needs a later model transmission, your video was excellent and we would like to see another. Our other two are a 63 baja and a 66. All need work and I’m 80 now, enjoy your works.

I've also learned a ton of stuff that would have helped a bunch back in the 90s when I owned a '71 Ghia! How do you guys balance your wide 5 wheels and tires?
Very simple! I don’t 😂
I put the wheel on a free spinning front hub, spin the wheel and put a chalk mark on the tyre where it stops. If it repeats, fix a balance weight opposite, using trial and error until when spinning the wheel it no longer stops in the same position.

I am the owner and only employee. I rent the space I have from my business partner who has a couple of his own shops.
