Delicious Kanda Poha Recipe: Your Go-To For Healthy Breakfast in 15 Minutes

INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup of peanuts
1 tsp of mustard seeds
3-4 slit green chillies
A sprig of curry leaves
2 onions finely chopped
1 finely chopped tomato
1 “ finely grated ginger
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
2-3 tsp of sugar
1 tsp salt to taste
2 cups of soaked mota/jada poha
1 tbsp of lemon juice
Freshly chopped coriander
METHOD:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in kadhai
Add 1/2 cup of peanuts
Sauté the peanuts for a minute or two
Remove them aside
Reduce the flame
Splutter 1 tsp of mustard seeds
Add 3-4 slit green chillies
A sprig of curry leaves
2 onions finely chopped
Sauté the onions for 2-3 minutes till they are soft and translucent
Add 1 finely chopped tomato
Add 1 “ finely grated ginger
Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
Add 2-3 tsp of sugar to it
Add the roasted peanuts
Add 1 tsp salt to taste
Add 2 cups of soaked mota/jada poha
Mix it well
Cook the poha for 3-4 minutes on a low flame
Shut the flame, drizzle 1 tbsp of lemon juice
Sprinkle some freshly chopped coriander
Mix it well
Serve

This poha is different because we don’t add ginger and tomato

You should have black pepper too. Turmeric absorption is greatly increased when taken with black pepper..
We don't add tomato and ginger.
Yup no ginger or tomato in a traditional poha but I guess this is thoda hatke!
Traditional kande pohe does not use ginger and Tomato. Potato peas is ok. Groundnuts are used more in Nagpur indore side.
No one uses ginger and tomatoes in poha.. At least i never seen😊
