People like to scam foreigners by raising the price of items, and since the foreigners don't really know the average price of such items, the shopkeepers like to take advantage of them. Here, the man selling the ice cream raised the price by 20 rupees, or 0.24 dollars. The kind woman confronted the seller and told him to stop looting the other man. Hope that helps!^^

In islam they call it Al Walaa Wal Baraa "(actively) *commanding the good/right and forbid the evil/corruption/immorality"* It's done for the sake of God and remaining a moral and healthy society.
Of course many non-muslims also follow this principle to some extent. Some do it for their countries image, others to feel good and others just simply to combat corruption.
