And pam pam now we have Final Fantasy VII remake that is more beautiful than it's old movie in graphics terms. In-canon resurrection is actually fairly rare. Last minute healing, sure. Outright resurrection? Rare as hell due to obvious reasons. The one best known for fully bringing people back to life is someone who's died twice and is now a Horseman.

But when Dezco's wife died, he couldn't resurrect her with the Light. Bringing the dead back to life is more the realm of gods and either mortals absurdly adapt and in-tune with a magical force ie Whitemane or manage to call up a one-time boost in power. Plus druidic magic has also brought people back to life, so that's Light, Void, and Nature. And of course, Death magic can raise people into undeath which is the easiest way to go some form of psuedo life. As for draconic magic, all we've seen from it is the ability to heal, not resurrect. Back when Alexstrasza had her full pwer, her power couldn't save Bridenbrad.
non-dragonflight characters too for over a decade, you just didn't realize it. a lot of artists from there are involved in a lot of media, people do not realize how many furry artists draw their MTG cards. it's an extremely broad art community with a lot of talented and skilled people, not this singular homogenized thing you envision. this however is an odd stylistic choice for Blizzard to choose I'll give you that, and extremely unfitting. they had many options but they chose....this cutesy looking stuff with human twink proportions. blizzard needs to drop this disney bullshit, get rid of Danuser's dogwater writing, and bring back the power metal

Because the way the ingame cutscenes that were including your character were before was super clunky and very rigid. Ever since the end of Shadowlands, these have improved a lot. You can actually see emotion on their faces now. Is it perfect? No. Room for improvement? Definitely. Does it feel good to see improvement so far? Yes, it does. They’ll get there. Not every cutscene needs to have the perfection of a cinematic as long as it sends the message it needs to send.
The animations are great as far as this kind of cinematic goes, although personally I don't care for this single player style stuff in an MMO. The dialogue...yeah. Danuser is a hack.
