Good job showing all the steps Joe!! I just finished installing Fleeces lift up and exergys upgraded metering fuel valve on my 2011 LML. I decided to pull my box off instead of dropping the tank. One thing I did different was I took the 2 factory wires going to the sending unit and put those into the new wire connector so I didn't have to mess with that pig tail. Keep up the good work!!

Just got the pump out in my truck along with a Randy's Transmission and a new starter. Truck is just much more responsive fuel mileage keeps climbing back to what it used to be. Thanks for the video. Makes me feel better about my purchase. Seeing you install it makes me wish i did that one on my own instead of the shop to save a little money 😂🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ . Followed and subscribed. 💯
We the people!! Grunt style! I dig their stuff!!

You could be getting better fuel economy... Better fuel pressure means your injector cycle is shorter for the same amount of power. The shorter cycle just means squirting at a more optimal time.
Did you find any leaks after you installed?
Also, I saw you struggle a bit removing fuel lines. I picked up a set of hooks made by KD tools a long time ago - others make similar. They have been godsent as far as removing hoses (coolant, fuel etc.) on modern, tight engine compartments. Back when we had real parts stores, the guy behind the counter recommended them (20 years ago) and they have been great. I think they are actually marketed as hose removal hooks.

We will look into those tools! Good suggestion!

What codes were you getting on your truck to make you want to change the lift pump?

No codes. The LMLs don't have lift pumps from the factory. It's a preventive upgrade to help the time bomb cp4 last longer and improve efficiency.

I have the exact same year and setup that you have (fleece pump and lift bags). What fuse number did you tap for your lift bags?

Question, My truck is a 2012 LML with 67k miles. I am the owner since new. I’ve been considering a lift pump for some time due to the rumored POS CP4. I like the idea of the pump being inside the tank and quite. My Q is does the Fleece come with a new fuel level sensor that communicates correctly with my trucks power train eco? It appears that my sensor is failing and since I’ve got to drop the tank to fix that I might as well do the Fleece at this time. What about going to the CAT filter in place of the stock?

The fleece pump comes with a new sensor. It replaces everything that's in the tank. I have heard mixed reviews on the Cat filters. I don't personally use them.

What about lifting the bed off?

Some people do that. I think it's pick your poison.
