Once again, the timing of these videos is perfect for me. Am currently working through this part of Let’s Get Biblical, & listening to you speak about this is quite helpful. Highly recommend these books. Also recommend going to the website & listening to the corresponding Individual Audio Posts. I listen to them after completing the chapter. Really helpful.
Rabbi, I am continuing to pray for your father, your family, you, & this most important work.

The problem, they know not the name, God has many names, most is His character and title. @@Yehonatan613You're wrong to think the jews use modern references to days & months.
14 nisan begins at sunrise day 2 of the week
Jesus & the disciples prepared the Passover meal during daylight hours & ate the Passover meal on the evening of 14 nisan as required by law. God counts 1 day has passed at sunrise - 24 hours after the daylight began 24 hours previously.
15 nisan begins at sunrise day 3 of the week
Sunrise begins the daylight hours & it is a sabbath day because it is the 1st day of unleavened bread where no work is to be done but Jesus was crucified on this day & he died, the earthquake shook the temple so violently that the curtain to the Holy of Holies was torn revealing an empty room & he was burried before evening so the jews could eat the Passover meal 1 day too late which incurs the penalty of almost all of Israel being cut off from God.
16 nisan begins at sunrise day 4 of the week
This would've been the 2nd day of unleavened bread but it was the 1st day for those who had it on 15 nisan. In the afternoon before sunset 24 hours, 1 night & 1 day, had passed since Jesus' body lay dead in the tomb but it didn't decay.
17 nisan begins at sunrise day 5 of the week
This would've been the 3rd day of unleavened bread but it was the 2nd day for those who had it on 15 nisan. In the afternoon before sunset 48 hours, 2 nights & 2 days, had passed since Jesus' body lay dead in the tomb but it didn't decay.

This would've been the 4th day of unleavened bread & the Sabbath because it was day 6 of the week but it was the 3rd day of unleavened bread for those who had it on 15 nisan. In the afternoon before sunset 72 hours, 3 nights & 3 days, had passed since Jesus' body lay dead in the tomb but it didn't decay & Jesus' body came back to life, the cloth which he was wrapped in was neatly placed where Jesus' body was placed in the tomb, Jesus clothed himself & left the tomb to rest for the night somewhere & begin to heal from his wounds because it was the sabbath.

@@Yehonatan613 Jewish days started in the evening & ended the following evening. (It gets dark at different times everyday because of the Earth's axis & location in relation to the sun) Their day began at sunset & ended at sunset the next day which is probably why Jesus kept calling them to come out of darkness into the light, lol.😅
God & Jesus started the day when there was light & ended it & counted 1 day at sunrise which started the next day.
      see Genesis 1
The heavens & the formless empty earth was created & over the surface of the deep was darkness.
Day is created & night was separated from the light of day & thus the term 'evening' was introduced to us.
The morning light marks the end of the 1st day (1) & the beginning of
      Day 2, evening, night.
The morning light marks the end of the 2nd day & the beginning of
      Day 3, evening, night.
The morning light marks the end of the 3rd day & the beginning of
Day 4, evening(civil, nautical & astronomical twilight) - dusk, night, dawn(astronomical, nautical & civil twilight).
The morning light marks the end of the 4th day & the beginning of the 5th day because the earth has turned once on its axis beginning its rotation where the garden of eden was situated. Therefore, a day begins & ends with light being present & proves the truth in calling light 'day'.
Day 5, evening(civil, nautical & astronomical twilight) - dusk, night, dawn(astronomical, nautical & civil twilight).
The morning light marks the end of the 5th day.
Day 6, evening(civil, nautical & astronomical twilight) - dusk, night, dawn(astronomical, nautical & civil twilight).
The morning light is the end of the 6th day.
Day 7, evening(civil, nautical & astronomical twilight) - dusk, night, dawn(astronomical, nautical & civil twilight).
The morning light is the end of the 7th day.
Sunrise starts day 14 Nisan where all yeast is removed from the house before sunset. Then evening begins, civil twilight, & it marks the start of the Lord's Passover & the start of day 1 of eating bread without yeast in it.
The morning sunrise starts day 15 Nisan & the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins.
At sunset the evening begins, civil twilight, & the 1st day is counted because the earth has rotated once on its axis.
Day 16 Nisan, at sunset the 2nd day ends
Day 17 Nisan, at sunset the 3rd day ends
Day 18 Nisan, at sunset the 4th day ends
Day 19 Nisan, at sunset the 5th day ends
Day 20 Nisan, at sunset the 6th day ends
Day 21 Nisan, at sunset the 7th day ends & at astronomical dusk the the night begins & people can eat bread with yeast during the this night before sunrise starts day 22 Nisan.
NB: If sunrise didn't start the day as the law was given to Moses then there wouldn't have been an explanation of how to count the seven days of the Festival of Unleavened Bread in Exodus 12:18. Also when the disciple said it was the third day he counted 3 days previous to & not including the day in progress because the earth had not yet rotated 1 time to count a full day.

He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him."
Jesus said, "Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven."
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father."
Jesus replied, "You call me `RABBI' and `LORD'' and you are right, because I am."
You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven-the Son of Man. I and the Father are one.”
Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside"

Trinity is a Farsi word " سه گانگی - se-ghanegy " which means "[concept of] three [owners]".
Father is the builder and the original owner of the house [there was no divorce and the mothers were automatically co owners with fathers),
Sons will inherit the property to protect the mother and other siblings when the father is too old or is dead. Daughters were getting married and co-owned their husband's property.
The Holy is " خالی - khali '' which means when the property is vacant and the word Spirit is " از بین رفت - az-bain-raft " which means building that is in ruins or was destroyed, in this state the Church will take ownership of the property and use it for single women, children and elders with no support.
In the Concept of Trinity, God is the landlord.
The Trinity was the base of the entire Christian and Western Civilization.
The Council of Nicaea formalized Trinity as the official rule of the land and Constantin centralized and unified registering the properties (issuing deeds) and recording their owners' names, to that date registering and recording was done by local real estate agents and escrow companies of the time dominated by jews who were abusing and trafficking and abusing women and children who needed food and home.
Virgin Mary means that Mary the mother of Jesus was a Virgin when married to Joseph, her virginity entitled her and Joseph to the ownership of the land and ability to pass the home to their son Jesus.

Both Jews and Muslims likewise have historically struggled with concepts like the co-eternity or createdness of their holy Scriptures. They have asked whether the Quran or the Torah is co-equal with God or plays a subsidiary role like Christians have fiercely debated the role of Jesus as the Second Person (The Word of God).
This is compounded by controversies and accusations of polytheism within Kabbalic Judaism and Sufi Islam, which were until recently quite normal ways of worshipping God.
To solely accuse Christianity of polytheism would indicate ignorance of intra-Jewish and intra-Islamic theological controversies.

Did GD create all things out of his word?
Did GD predetermine all things before he created them?
Is GD's word before all things?
GD's word is incarnate in all things, everything GD created is the expression of GD concerning his concept of them, Messiah is the expression of GD towards man, and the new nature of man towards GD. His death becomes are death, putting the old nature to death. His resurrection becomes are resurrection, giving birth to the new nature of man, created by Gd in him.
When the word became a human soul, the word had a to have a will of its own, as do humans, making the word a individual. The word does not come to be GD, the word comes to create in himself the new nature of man, and to reveal the person of God to us, in Messiah, containing in himself all the properties of redemption. Yeshua is the thoughts, the heart, the mind, the spirit of GD towards man, and the new nature of man towards Gd. The word Is GD the fathers, offspring in all creation, it is before all things, created all things, giving GD's word preeminence in all things. without GD's word there can be nothing. Emmanuel GD with us.
It is because of the mission the word comes to accomplish, that makes GD greater than his word, the word is subject to GD, Yeshua said the father is greater than him, he also said he and the father are one. this makes GD through his word preeminent in all things, being the first born of all things. One GD in all things. Thou are the Christ, the offspring of the living Gd. Messiah derives from God, the father of all substance.💡

Now look at Revelation where it talks about the woman being carried by the dragon, exalted by the the waters. you think they are one in the same, the whore Babylon. The dragon is the devil, the woman being carried: means inspired moved; the the waters represents people, lifting, exalting her. Then look @ the world, where do you think we are on Daniels time line.
Look at the false prophet described in revelation. he looks a lot like the man Daniel describes, coming out of the 4th beast, with the 10 horns; which are 10 kings 3 have been subdued by the one that comes up after them, having control over the currency, a military leader, a world ruler. who deceives the world. and rises up against the prince of princes, even exalting himself above God Almighty.
By the way the prince in Ezekiel is not the messiah, nor does it say he is. it seems like Daniel and Ezekiel happen in one respect in the same sequence, the end times. Jesus told us when he returns he comes on the clouds of heaven, like Daniel, describes in chapter seven.
What we learn in Daniel, is the beast is a kingdom, what we see in Revelation, the beast has a name and a number; which is the name and number of a man. The man is not the beast, the beast is named after him, nor does it say the false prophet is the man, who the beast is named after.

Forget what Paul teaches about it...forget the Greek NT Gospels (which were written to support Paul's subversion of the Monotheistic Jesus).
This is what the Nazarene Jews (the sect of Judaism to which Jesus and the Apostles belonged) "knew" about Jesus and God.
In the Clementine Literature, the Nazarene Apostle Peter's antagonist, Simon Magus, takes the position (as do the Jews) that Jesus claimed to be "G"od. Peter states that Jesus never taught that...and it would have been foreign to Jesus as being a righteous Torah abiding Jew.
Homily Book 16: Chapter 14: Other beings called gods.
Peter continued; “For we also know that the angels are called gods by the Scriptures, as, for instance, he who spoke at the bush, and wrestled with Jacob, and the name is likewise applied to Him who is born Emmanuel, and who is called the mighty god. Yea, even Moses became a god to Pharaoh, even though in reality he was a man. The same is the case also with the idols of the Gentiles. But we have but one God, one who made creation and arranged the universe, whose Son is the Messiah. Obeying the Messiah, we learn to know what is false in the Scriptures. Moreover, being furnished by our ancestors with the truths of the Scriptures, we know that there is only One who has made the heavens and the earth, the God of the Jews, and of all who choose to worship Him. Our fathers, with righteous thought, setting down a fixed belief in Him as the true God, handed down this belief to us, that we may know that if anything is said against God, it is a falsehood. I shall add this remark over and above what I need say; If the case is not as I have said, then may I, and all who love the truth, incur danger regarding the praise of the God who made us.”
Homily Book 16: Chapter 15: Christ is not God, but He is the Son of God.
When Simon heard this, he said; “Since you say that we shouldn’t believe even the prophet that gives signs and wonders if he says that there is another god and that you know that he even incurs the penalty of death if he does so, therefore your, teacher, Jesus, also was for this very reason cutoff for having given signs and wonders.”
And Peter answered; “Our Lord neither asserted that there were other gods except for the Creator of all, nor did He proclaim Himself to be God, but He with reason blessed him who called him the Son of that God who had arranged the universe.”
And Simon answered; “Does it not seem to you, then, that he who comes from God; is God?”
And Peter said; “Tell us how this is possible, for we cannot affirm this because we did not hear it from Him.”
There is a lot more to this argument...over 5 chapters worth, but the gist of it is summed in the last line of Peter. Peter stated that Jesus never claimed to be "G"od.
Now, Jesus as being "g"od in representation, as Moses was "g"od in representation is a different story.

Jesus explicitly said he was God in John 8:58 and he made it clear in that verse by taking one of God's signature names in Exodus 3:14. Yet, he is not co-equal with the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:31-32. Nor is he co-equal with the Father, Matthew 24:36. And yes, his Father is really GREATER than him then, John 14:28.
The trinity is unintelligible beacuse the doctrine asserts that God attains full divinity in all three states. Yet, He doesn't because he is not equally and fully divine in all three states according to the NT. So, the trinity falls flat on its face if you stop ignoring the absurdity of these contradictions in the New Testament!
Care to read how 1 Timothy 2:5-6 describes Jesus as a mediator and is therefore separate from God and man? This verse irrefutably disproves the trinity alone because a mediator is NEITHER of the two parties in which he is mediating for. This verse in other words conveys that Jesus is not God.
I was a christian for many years and these verses bothered me A LOT. I left the church long ago now and have read the entire TaNaKh instead, and I'm now reading it again for the second time. The TaNaKh fixes all of the problems for me that I had with Christianity. And yes, there is a difference between the christian OT and the TaNaKh.

I’m agnostic and the problem I have with these arguments. Are that people try to explain stuff like they’re smarter than God if there is one or they can understand the God the truth of the matter is if there is a God, obviously the God can do anything. It wants. It doesn’t need you to understand it for it to be true. Maybe there is three in one if there is only God can understand it how it works so for a human being to say it doesn’t make sense actually doesn’t make sense because with an all powerful God anything makes sense that it wants to do

Excellent remarks by Tovia Singer as always. What's funny is when people start talking about the Trinity, the discussion never seems to get to the "Holy Ghost." He has no books in the Bible, he didn't write or tell others to write anything about himself (neither did Jesus) and nobody seems to be sitting around waiting for him to be crucified or even to come back. All i see the Holy Spirit doing is making old ladies dance in the pews, and televangelists speak in fake, incomprehensible jibberish, pretending to be "speaking in tongues." He certainly doesn't make people immune to poison & snakebites, or capable of healing the sick. At least Mormons kinda believe in a "Heavenly Mother," but that gets even stranger than Arianism or Sabellianism, pointing to God having a wife, as in the polytheistic Canaanite religion. Still, the whole idea of a "Trinity" is just an excuse for moving away from monotheism, and the oneness of God expressed in Deuteronomy 6:4.

I don't think any Orthodox Jew could truly understand the Trinity when I as a Christian do not understand the concept of "three Independent Persons in one God." I do understand what Tertullian was trying to describe to us in ca. 200 CE, but the Holy Spirit is not independent of God, nor is Jesus. He is trying to meld something of Jesus' humanity and divinity, but the Trinity as a structure does not work. I prefer my notion of God's "spiritual transfusion" into Jesus.

It seems you didn't study the oral Torah. God's existence is independent. That is to say, it is not dependent on anything else, whereas the existence of every creation is dependent on God's will to create it. In the terminology of the sages, this is called God's Requisite Existence, which means that there is no cause for His existence. Rather, His existence is essential and due to Himself. His creations, on the other hand, are called possible existences, since their existence always depends on another cause, and it is possible that they will either exist or not exist.

Does the Torah include this verse in Isaiah 7:21 of the KJV 1769? "And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;"
So what does this mean? The man is a human being. The cow and two sheep are three Spirits. The young cow symbolizes the new Spirit of Isaiah 9:6 and the two sheep symbolize the Lord of hosts and his son the Spirit of Jesus.
Don't you know what nourishes Spirits? Memories and experiences of living mortal flesh. So the man is nourishing these three Spirits by living his life as a mortal and they are possessing him. This is about the formation of Trinity through marriage.

@@townsmanmacher3880 Hi. Christians do not believe in 3 separate Gods. They believe there is only 1 God who exists as 3 distinct persons. Here is another definition.
“Within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
“Being is what makes something what it is. Person is what makes someone who he or she is.”
“God’s being is eternal not limited by both time and omnipresent (not limited by space)”
A rock has being but a rock is not personal. “What is personality? The ability to have emotion, will, to express oneself.” God has these abilities so God is a personal being.
All 3 persons share the 1, undivided, identical divine nature from all of eternity.
Only The Son took on an additional nature, a human nature. He is Fully God and Fully Human.
Genesis 1:26 NASB1995 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Matthew 28:19 ESV Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
“This verse shows there is both a unity between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (one name) and a distinction (three persons).” That 1 name is Yahweh.
The Father is not the Son.
The Father loves the Son, he is not acting, it takes more than 1 person to have fellowship.
John 3:35 ESV The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.
The Son was with the Father before the world existed, they have an eternal relationship.
John 17:5 NASB2020 And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.
Christians have fellowship with the Father and the Son, 2 distinct persons.
1 John 1:2-3 NASB2020 and the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us- what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
The Father is not the Holy Spirit.
Christians also have fellowship with the Holy Spirit and he helps them according to the will of the Father.
Romans 8:26-27 BSB In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
The Son is not the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes that clear.
Matthew 12:32 BSB Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.
Isaiah 48:16 NASB2020 “Come near to Me, listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord GOD has sent Me, and His Spirit.”
The Son makes a clear distinction, he says the Father has sent him and the Holy Spirit. This means the Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. 3 distinct persons.
Luke 3:21-22 BSB When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in a bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
The Holy Spirit was seen descending on the Son and the Father's voice was heard from heaven, 3 distinct persons.
There is only 1 God who exists as 3 distinct persons.

Similarly, THE FATHER, THE SON, THE HOLY SPIRIT is a HOLY Creation in Pairs, not a Divine GOD. yes but the HOLY SPIRIT is a Lord of all the Universe and Creations following the Command of the one and only GOD (ALLAH/YHWH). That the season of death, like Winter, will always be followed by the season of life, or Spring. Or like the death of the moon for 3 days only to be followed by the rebirth of the sacred new moon. You could switch out all 3 personas in the Christian Trinity and the ultimate and fundamental symbolism would still remain. The season of life will always follow the season of death. There is one G-d and he is all powerful. There is no other power, not even a weaker other power as then G-d would not be all powerful.
And it is the greek and Roman pagan G-d's that had higher level like zeus run the heavens but be too high up to bother with your day to day needs. For that you go to lower demi G-d's like for example Hercules who lol was a product of a liaison between a human woman and zeus (may as well be Mary and the father).
In judaiwm we are true monotheists. Our G-d cares about us and is all powerful and is intimately connected to this world. In fact he made everything in existence, whole universe just for the sake of man the only being in existence with free will.
Not like those greek and Roman pagans or even some Christians saying satan is boss of earth and a dofferebt power is runnimg perfe t heavens than who is running earth. And don't argue delegation as if G-d can only do so many tasks at once or will glbe tired or bored doing everything. He is all powerful. No those pagans thought a different power for heavens and earth because heavens seemed perfect and earth world seemed flawed to them.
Of course G-d can use angels but angels are not G-d's (don't ever worship them) and are just forces that G-d created.
These things are fundamental. When I pray as a Jew 3 times a day in our main prayers we address G-d as OUR G-d, G-d of Israel, G-d of pir forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. G-d who took us oit of Egypt. This is the one and only G-d that you find I the Torah who wants us to have a direct relationship with him. No intermediaries at all. No man, angel, other diety, delegation of G-d, not 3 in 1 just 1 in 1. You only pray to that one G-d and he is the only saviour. That is true monotheism.
And when you have 1 G-d only with true monotheism who is all powerful it also means he requires nothing, yoi can't give him any gifts as he is not lacking. Unlike older pagan religions where for your ritual/magic to work you had to give some sort of payment. So with true monotheism when G-d forgives your truly repentant heart he does it only out of mercy and needs no payment. No one dying for you. Doesn't have to have an animal or blood.
These are fundamentals fro. The torah. This is real monotheism. Try monotheism for once. Unless of course you think the greek and Roman G-d's and rituals of the pagan world has it right and not Judaism and the Torah

Yes by the way Rabbi Singer has already tackled this question in multiple videos from people calling in to his show asking that question. Well answered. It would have educate me if I hadn't learnt about it already in early highschool as I was lucky enough to go to a good Jewish school with some good teachers teaching tanach.

if Jesus father[god] is the god of Jews then it's terrible blasphemy. Paul was thief and imposter. he stole the concept of Greek mythology. from that concept he invented trinity.

What hardly anyone recognizes is that Paul taught his congregations that Christians will become God from the angels' and humanity's point of view, but to the deified Christians God and Jesus would still be considered God to them as would the Holy Spirit if Paul was trinitarian. There's a remnant of that teaching in the Catholic and Orthodox traditions of the Saints.

That is accurate in regard to Saul/Paul. Thomas Aquinas also taught the divinity of the human being, albeit he did so very slyly. The ability to promote into deity is central to Mormon teaching. To be clear, I do not believe that.

the catholic church who invented the idolatry of the trinity, even they admit there's not one mention of the trinity in the Jewish Bible. So how do they know of something they were never commanded to believe in, that they were told would never exist (Isaiah 43:10-13, Isaiah 44:6-8, Isaiah 45:19-23)? Your trinity is foreign idolatry only ever to be rejected (Deuteronomy 13:6-17), your new unknown god is of no importance (Deuteronomy 32:16-17

Hi, Tovia, Here's the the Thing with the Church of Rome's invention of the Trinity - Jesus only ever said to Pray to the Father - not to Him or the Holy spirit.
The so called Lord's prayer which was an example of what to Pray for - rather than an actual Prayer says nothing about the Holy spirit.
Now. IF the Holy spirit was a third Person of the Godhead - or an individual Member of the God Family - consisting of Two persons at present - I.e. Jesus [whose other than English name Jesus in antiquity is closer to Joshua* anyway] and the Father - you would think Jesus would have said something about praying to the Holy spirit - however as shown in a number of Places the Holy spirit is sometimes referred to as 'He' and sometimes as 'it.' *Refer to Wikipedia's article titled, 'Yeshua' for Jesus most likely Hebrew name of Joshua - mainly because the Prophecy of Zechariah 3 fits what happened at the Time of Jesus' Crucifixion trial.
And in another place in Paul's writings the Holy Spirit is referred to as a Token or down payment of the spirit [of God?] - IF Paul is correct in 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
    "Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of THE SPIRIT in our hearts." [KJV]
"Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." [NIV]
"Now the one who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anoints us is God, who also sealed us and gave the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts". [Lexham English bible]
These texts seem to indicate the Holy spirit comes from God the Father.
    "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." [John 14:16-18 KJV]
Different English translations render it differently as you can see and the NIV seems to be saying God the Father puts HIS Spirit in us. In Which case the Holy spirit could be referred to legitimately as a He since God the Father is Masculine - although some Feminists might disagree that God is male.🤨😉
What is interesting about the Old testament scriptures is that there is no mention of the Holy spirit as such, as being a separate person in the godhead - as is claimed by most mainstream churches of the New Testament era that are daughter churches of the Roman Catholic church that broke away and became Protestant Churches, likely during the Reformation years - and retained the trinity doctrine - but the In the Book of Daniel - which is discredited as Sheer Mythology by secular Scholars who assumed Danie's 11:40-45 is inaccurate - dated Daniel [ Wrongly] to have been Written in Antiochus IV Epiphanes's Era of around 167-164 BC instead of Ezra's Nehemiah's and the Two contemporary prophets Haggai and Zechariah in the Immediate Post Jewish Babylonian captivity era. There's More internal evidence in a couple of OT Books including 2 Chronicles that Ezra may have been the author of the 1st 6 introductory chapters of Daniel's Book of the so called 'court tales' - By way of introducing the prophet Daniel's own prophecies in the last 6 chapters. But that's a whole other story I don't have space to cover here inn a commentary section.
The Details of the spurious dating of the book of Daniel is in Wikipedia's article titled, 'Book of Daniel' under the intro and 4 subheadings of Historical Background, Development , Authorship and Dating.
But for my Purposes here I need to Cite the book of Daniel and need to show its authenticity and accuracy - Because Nebuchadnezzar Shows that he regarded Daniel as Having the Spirit of God in him:
"O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that THE SPIRIT of the HOLY gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof."
This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee." [Daniel 4:9,18 and 5:14]
Of Course apparently Nebuchadnezzar believed in Multiple gods but Daniel prayed to Just one God in Daniel 9
"And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
    And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
    To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name."
I haven't quoted the whole prayer as it is far too long to fit here but enough to Show that Daniel referred to God as 'the Lord our God' and O 'My God' also. So Daniel was aware of only One God. Which is fair enough because Jesus hadn't been born then.
What is interesting in Revelation 19:11 is that the Angel revealing the future to Jesus' disciple/Apostle John said to Worship God 'for the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy' and Revelation 12 Shows that Because Satan couldn't attack or pursue the Jews any more after 70AD because God scattered the Jews and the 12 tribes in the 'Wilderness' - Satan then went after those who had the Testimony of Jesus.
"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, [i.e. The twelve Tribes of Israel Revelation 12:1-6] and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
I'm pretty sure that the second Diaspora of the Jews in 70 AD was more to preserve them just as much as a punishment for Their Rejection Jesus as their saviour.
And that's about all I have space to write as a comment. But Hopefully I've made my point clear enough about the Holy spirit as I understand it - It is the spirit of Truth and the Testimony of Jesus and the Prophets of the OT had it in them as Nebuchadnezzar recognised it in the prophet Daniel. 🙃
