As a Muslim I completely agree and found this to be a very logical discussion. But just to clarify to some of those who may have listened to this, Islam is absolutely clear on the single nature of the creator and goes to great extents in the Quran to argue against this trinitarian logic. However you often find Christians trying to find parallels to the doctrine of the trinity in other religions including Islam (possibly to make it more acceptable logically). The attributes of God that the caller referred to are the names of God that are mentioned in the Quran and describe God’s nature (eg. The most merciful, the most Compassionate etc..) and in no way describes different personas.

I have always trusted and believed the Muslims and the jews worship the same God! I had believed like brother argue or fight, that's how Muslims and judiasm has been, while God spoke of esau and Jacob, I believed 🇮🇱 Israel is like Jacob and Islam like esua, ...Muslims submit to only God, they worship with such loyalty and devotions, their women cover themselves! And when their tongue flows when the mention a name of a holy prophet or holy king they say "peace be upon them!" My heart feels what their tongue saids! When they mention God and words "the merciful and compassionate!" My heart fills with joy! And I know 100% they love The one true God! ..while ✡️ Jewish nation reason, and they have knowledge and truth, they have celebrated the holy sabbath, and kept the laws of G-D through the holy prophets and rabbi's! ...when they say "Hashem" wow they speak of whom they know! And more importantly whom they know ,knows them ! ...when I speak to Christians? They seem very active , they don't know who they worship, I get confused and have doubt and sorrow and grief! I don't feel the power and authority of the true God! I fear God more for spending time with them! I feel lost forever worthless and.useless! I try to have faith! But I feel fake seeking God in ways Christians think ? I have to say they seem to be hypocrites! I used to think I have to humble myself like Jesus did when he went to get baptized, but when does it end? They all claim they will be raptured? How can they be raptured ? Only two were raptured Enoch and Elijah two holy prophets! Loved by God! None can compare to those whom G-D has declares his love for! They are jn the holy bible, and.more importantly they are in the heart of G-D! I hear testimonials of Christians like G-D helped me find my keys, or G-D gave me a job and gave me money? They ask me what do I want? I want to worship and praise God and pray effectively! They say that doesn't matter! ...its confusingly Christian churches!

Question about Islam: Why does Islam claim Mohammad is a Prophet when he never made a prophesy that matches the Torah's Prophets, which is how you can single out false prophets? Also why do so many Muslims despise the Jews that live in Israel today? God promised that land to live in.

@@julianmontoya428 it sounds like you might be on the path to becoming a Bnei Noah. It sounds like you revere the Jewish Bible, the word of God. I would follow that instinct to finding your personal relationship with Him. Keep the Noahide laws, and tell yourself that you are obeying God’s laws because He wants that from you. We serve Him, because we want to please Him, not because we are buying credits for the afterlife. Once we are not on this Earth, we are souls who cannot serve Him any longer by keeping His commandments, so we have to serve Him now as best we can.

I'm a Conservative Jew, went to Hebrew school, got Bar Mistvah'd, but most of my friends were Christians, not church going, so to fit in never knew much about Judaism, only to pray to God and never Jesus. My two brothers and sister all married Christians, and always felt a pressure by my two brothers to covert to save my soul UNITIL I started watching Jewish-Christian debate here online. I find Rabbi Singer to be the most knowledgeable. The pressure to convert to vanished and gave me great joy. Now , ask yourself (1) If there is a Creator , will HE not provide us some kind of guidance providing along some kind of convincing proof to assured us this guidance is indeed from the Creator ? (2) We know there are thousands of religions & hundreds or few may be have some kind of books & they claim them their " Holly books / scriptures" from the Creator . But, except from Al-Qur'an is there any other Scripture claimed to be direct words from the Creator ? So far I know , the answer is NO ! Since only Al-Qur'an claims from the Creator & if the claim is true , than Everyone except the true followers of Al-Qur'an will be ending up in eternal hell especially those polithiestic idol worshipers .Don't you think you should atleast genuinely examine the claim instead of taking any risk out of ego / prejudice / blind hatreds ?! To the Christian caller, when responding to "Only the father knows the hour", you said the hypostatic union that Jesus was in limited his mind, in a sense, saying his true divine form would know the hour. To that I would ask, what about the holy spirit? Why does the holy spirit not know? Isn't the holy spirit co-equal with the father and co-omniscient? Last I checked the holy spirit was not limited by a human form.

@@eduardo_fbarbosa Yes but that breaks the trinitarian clause of co-equality. All three are co-equal in omni-presence, omni-potence, and omni-science. Not knowing the day and the hour by definition makes a being not omniscient, because omniscient is by definition the knowledge of all things. The trinitarian formula has a distinction of person but an equality of nature. Omniscience is part of the nature of God, to believe that some of the person's are relegated to having lesser knowledge or power due to the roles they fulfill is unacceptable according to Trinitarian clauses, that belief is modalist, which is heretical to all Trinitarian churches.
Also, you say all these things about the trinity, but who came up with this? Did a prophet say this? Did Jesus himself explicitly explain the trinitarian formula and its clauses? What gives a human, much less ones similar to the early church fathers (some were murderers and most had characters below that of most modern saints) the right to determine, without scriptural backing, the nature of God?

I grew up Catholic. One day in the fourth grade after morning prayer a nun that I was fond of asked why I don’t pray like the other kids? I said that it bothered me that Jesus is nearly naked. She looked at me with a smirk 😏 on her face for what seemed like an eternity. Then she announced that I could pray 🙏 to the Blessed Virgin Mary and she will intercede before her son for me. I was satisfied with that response. Idolatry leads to the worship of the human body which is God’s creation. This bodily fixation has lead Christians to call their church “The Body of Christ” If this is NOT idolatry then perhaps I don’t know the meaning of the word. 🌞🌞🌞

Well the Protestants and Evangelicals try to get around worshipping a nearly (or entirely) naked man hanging from a cross by swapping out crucifixes for unadorned crosses. But now they have a greater problem: they're worshipping a cruciform execution stake! (They even have a song devoted to "The Old Rugged Cross") But if you were to tell them what Roman crucifixion was *really* like, they'd stop their ears and shout, "Lalalalala we're not LISTENING!" Why? Because they would know it was an abomination, which they should but don't!

I studied Christianity for years (I was once a Christian many years ago). Rabbi Singer in his videos has gone into detail of a gradual change in the beliefs of the followers of Jesus starting from Mark & Paul which had a split in beliefs.
    * Jesus in Mark is more like a prophet similar to David. Jesus in Paul is a divine being, but not quite God.
    * There was a hostility between Paul & the followers of Jesus who continued to practice Judaism (See Galatians & Acts).
    - Paul’s Gentile church would dominate the Jesus movement especially after the defeat of Israel by the Romans. This Gentile dominance in
Christianity led to the books attributed to John where the line between Jesus & God was further blurred.
    * But even after that, the majority of Christian leaders in the first 3 centuries believed that Jesus, while divine, was not = to God. This was labeled Arianism. The Arians had the majority in some church councils after Nicene. But they eventually lost & were declared to be heretics.
    * Knowing this history is one of the many reasons why I am not longer a Christian & eventually came to a faith which is consistent w/ the Noahide laws.

Adella, I'm so sorry that you are mistaken. You do not know G-d, and you cannot know Him, because to know Him is to know Him who sent Him. Yeshua Hamashiach is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! No man comes to the Father, but by Him! You know it's really tough going back and forth and I say I won't, but geez is it hard! My dear, I did not listen to a sermon or ask a preacher or anyone. I can tell you my testimony but you won't believe. Let's say this. (What I'm going to say didn't happen, but I can tell you similar stories and my own testimony which is different of course) Okay, so You have a vision and you see a path, and suddenly a voice speaks and tell you who He is. Now, knowing what Christians seek, would you really say Satan cleans someone up and make them Christian? For example so a man beats his wife, drinks, does drugs and has a rapid death waiting , until the vision and turns to G-d immediatelythe next day of carrying out these activities. Now, would you say Satan deceived the person to become Christian, when Satan already had his soul leading to death and hell? Now be honest, that would be foolish thinking if you believe, Satan turned a very evil and sinful man into a good person who cherishes, loves and takes care of himself and family, wouldn't you? So, what makes you think being a Christian is not the truth? Unless you Repent, this message will be used to judge you on the day of judgment. Repent, the Kingdom of G-d is at hand!

The Torah Commands that one "Shall NOT make any image of a creature on land, in the sea, or in the sky", yet the church places their disgusting idols of jesus and his comrades in all the churches. The Torah ALSO commands in the book of Deuteronomy to KILL any false prophet who tries to convince the Jewish people to NOT observe the commandments, even if he comes in the "name of God"... The original followers of Jesus followed the way. Never did they call themselves Christian. Not until Constantine saw the cross ( a constellation in the sky) and formed the council of Nicaea, who picked and chose what books could from the Bible for Constantine’s benefit. Also translated into Greek Enter the catholic faith who spoke only in Latin, the followers could not discern for themselves. Enter holy war. Bible is translated underground. King James has Roman Catholic Bible translated to English for his benefit. King James was also gay( not judging).
The way was lost, translation was misunderstood due to being translated from Greek and manipulated by catholic.
I was raised catholic, did the school and all. I was shunned as a child by a priest for questioning the teachings of saint worship, Mary worship, burning in purgatory for our sins, the amount of alcohol in their cloisters ( why were children shown the priest place of living? Odd and gross) plus there lack of teaching of Jesus!
The Catholics to me are the very Jesuit impersonator to bring u to false truth. They are the head that has poisoned the body. They infiltrate every religion. Any religion that has 503c exemption is involved! They pay no tax on income in exchange to keep their mouths shut as to what is going on in the world as it relates to Father and his plan.
You are very smooth and inspiring Rabbi. I just came out of the delusion of Jesus is messiah. You were warm, funny and believable in your teaching.
Father had no religion. Jacob is Israel is Gods people.
Not a nationality. So many tribes.
We are all Gods people. The missing tribe is the one who doesn’t know it yet.
Thank you for your help in my search. No religion is good. Just knowing. Just as we feel the air we know it’s there although we can’t see it. Just as we breathe we do it because we need to live. Believing is involuntary love. It’s natural. It’s just there.
I do believe you when you say scriptures were changed and mistranslated. I like “ I shall be with you “ rather than I am that I am.
Also I was skeptical of the virgin birth always, even when I converted to Christianity when I was 18. It made no sense. But I followed because that’s what you do. I found out the pagan meanings behind Christmas and Easter ( those Catholics truly are evil) found out that Jewish royalty in Jesus time only conceived during the month of December ( the rest of the year they were sleeping with concubines) so if Jesus is royal he would be born in September under the sign of Virgo ( virgin).
There is definitely something to freemasonry and the New Testament. Maybe Jesus was born on September 11? 911 is an emergency number. 911 is a false flag created by our evil government and those who control them to send us into fear ( I believe fear is the devil) and they control the masses to make acceptable their plan. Just as Jesus Barnabas a vigilante was set free instead of Jesus Ben Joseph who spoke and emulated love for all and the Father was put to death. Jesus never said he was God. Jesus never claimed to be messiah!
Maybe Jesus was the spirit of Elijah that comes before?
We know for sure God has his own timeline.
Thanks for reading my thoughts. Who ever you are. We are one.

“I can do nothing apart from the Father.”
      “The father is greater.”

Why did Hashem say “well done my good and faithful servant with whom I am well pleased when Yeshua was baptized?” Why didn’t he say good job to me if he was God?
Why did Jesus pray to God to save him before he died? “It is your will not mine.”
When Jesus taught people how to pray he didn’t say “pray to me” he said pray like this “OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN…”
“ and Jesus fell on his face and prayed” to who?? Himself??
Why didn’t he know when “he’d return”?? Doesn’t God know everything? Right then he wasn’t God.
He hasn’t link back to kings David either because he was of a “virgin” birth like every other pagan God that was before him. His own “birthday”is a pagan day.

      Body, spirit, and soul.
      Do you have a body?
      Do you have a spirit?
      Do you have a soul?

Even when I was a Christian (Baptist), I could never stomach the trinity doctrine. I knew it was insane, and was quite vocal about it. Possibly it was because I was a Mormon for many years before being a Baptist. It simply made no sense. It wasn't honest. Claiming something nonsensical is true is disingenuous, nothing more. The more I protested, the more I was told to have "faith". Twain put it well when he said "Faith is believing in what you know just ain't so."
Then I read probably the best description of the trinity by Robert Ingersol. Once I stopped laughing, it all made perfect sense. If you keep repeating the same lie over and over, no matter how preposterous, people will believe it. Now, what country was famous for using such tactics.....Just sayin'.

I have no problem with the Trinity.
I believe that the ‘son’ part of the trinity laid aside his divinity to become fully human. How else could he take upon himself the sins of the world, be separated from God the Father and actually die?
Only this way could he be ‘The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world?’
Is it not interesting how many Jewish people are putting their faith in Yeshua as Messiah?
I am in awe of The Jewish people, and I fully respect their status as Gods chosen.
As a Gentile, I am also humbled to be part of the believers ‘grafted into’ the true vine.
By the way, the Rabbi states that Jesus never claimed to be God, however he did claim to be ‘The Christ’ in response to Peters answer in Matthew 16:16.
In Luke10:18 Jesus states that He saw satan fall like lightning from Heaven’. So if he was ‘……The Word, with God at the beginning, how is the Trinity not possible?
Also in John 8:58, he refers to himself as ‘I am’. Obviously claiming to be God incarnate; that’s why they wanted to stone him.
    It’s quite plain to me.
    Anyway; enough said.

Ofc all 4 gospels would match and will have some differences, not many people could write then.. those who wrote were considered to have the "holy spirit"
Now, we have to stop with this "nice man" propaganda.. Obviously, jewish man, arameic speaking, but not a single gospel in his language, not a single word spoken in first person and from Jesus himself but spoken in 3rd person, who saw who and who said what..
To me 4 gospels PROVE that Jesus existed, but the logic that contradict itself, is thanks to polytheist greeks.. constantine would not have a monotheist religion dictate the rules and overshadow theirs.
So I believe in Jesus, I believe that the gospels are guidance to do good and inspire you... But I do not believe they have the complete truth and are reliable. But they are inspired from a jewish nation and in 1 verse Jesus says that he came to fulfil the torah..
Jesus also said I in the father and you in me... This is all figure of speech.

Many ordinary people were done a disservice by the doctrines of the church and its obvious contradictions.
For it made them abandon even the true scriptures , and it’s simple message .
Namely to believe that the divinity committed adultery with a married woman (if God was to be “born “ why not from an unmarried woman?). And to accept a god who was his own father and who begot himself from his own mother , and who came into the world via a woman’s uterus, and allowed himself to be put to death, and who came alive again, and(as Paul claimed) abolished his own Torah which “ he himself “ had given.
These abhorrent doctrines, when labelled “ Bible “, caused people to turn away even from the true Scriptures; and they use this as an excuse to close their eyes to the evidence of a creator which the unbiased mind is capable of seeing.

That may be true, and that is good, but the issue with Islam is the belief in updated revelation. Once revealed, the truth cannot change, morph, or evolve into something else. @@abdullahalrai I respect your religion, but I have to respond in this way. That’s just a different way of saying the same thing: it can’t be the same core belief if each revelation is inherently different. How do we measure “difference?” One good way is to see if the commandments are different. For example, the Torah has 613 commandments, the Christian Scriptures only have a handful, and the Q’uran has about 100, some of which are similar and some of which are not.
In other words, you _believe_ that it’s the same stream of _deen_ from Abraham to Muhammad, but when you analyze the content you’ll see that it’s different. This means that either a) today’s Judaism is not the original truth and Islam corrects it, or b) Judaism _is_ the original truth and _Islam_ is different than Judaism.
The Jews had no motive to change their revelation any more than you have the motive to corrupt yours. The Jews resisted hard against idolatry in every generation, and were killed for it, so it’s hard to believe that they would simply and casually corrupt their own religion for who-knows-what reason. You realize that the entire time this was happening that God didn’t replace them, which indicates that it didn’t happen. It’s more of a belief that you need to justify your faith more than it is something that can be demonstrated. Again, I respect your religion, but the things you believe about Judaism are not true.

Divine threesomes abound in the religious writings and art of ancient Europe, Egypt, the near east, and Asia. These include various threesomes of male deities, of female deities, of Father-Mother-Son groups, or of one body with three heads, or three faces on one head (Griffiths 1996). However, similarity alone doesn’t prove Christian copying or even indirect influence, and many of these examples are, because of their time and place, unlikely to have influenced the development of the Christian doctrine of the Trinity.
A direct influence on second century Christian theology is the Jewish philosopher and theologian Philo of Alexandria (a.k.a. Philo Judaeus) (ca. 20 BCE-ca. 50 CE), the product of Alexandrian Middle Platonism (with elements of Stoicism and Pythagoreanism). Inspired by the Timaeus of Plato, Philo read the Jewish Bible as teaching that God created the cosmos by his Word (logos), the first-born son of God. Alternately, or via further emanation from this Word, God creates by means of his creative power and his royal power, conceived of both as his powers, and yet as agents distinct from him, giving him, as it were, metaphysical distance from the material world (Philo Works; Dillon 1996, 139-83; Morgan 1853, 63-148; Norton 1859, 332-74; Wolfson 1973, 60-97).
Another influence may have been the Neopythagorean Middle Platonist Numenius (fl. 150), who posited a triad of gods, calling them, alternately, “Father, creator and creature; fore-father, offspring and descendant; and Father, maker and made” (Guthrie 1917, 125), or on one ancient report, Grandfather, Father, and Son (Dillon 1996, 367). Moderatus taught a similar triad somewhat earlier (Stead 1985, 583).
Justin Martyr (d. ca. 165) describes the origin of the logos (= the pre-human Jesus) from God using three metaphors (light from the sun, fire from fire, speaker and his speech), each of which is found in either Philo or Numenius (Gaston 2007, 53). Accepting the Philonic thesis that Plato and other Greek philosophers received their wisdom from Moses, he holds that Plato in his dialogue Timaeus discussed the Son (logos), as, Justin says, “the power next to the first God”. And in Plato’s second letter, Justin finds a mention of a third, the Holy Spirit (Justin, First Apology, 60). As with the Middle Platonists, Justin’s triad is hierarchical or ordered. And Justin’s scheme is not, properly, trinitarian. The one God is not the three, but rather one of them and the primary one, the ultimate source of the second and third.

    LISTEN UP! EVEN KJV SAYS
    JESUS IS NOT GOD!
    END OF DUSCUSSION
Which biblical verses do Jehovah Witnesses use to prove Jesus is not equal to God?
After all these excellent scriptural verses that are used to give an answer, I can't believe people will read it and say its not supporting Jesus is simply God's son and not God.
So I want to ask ask simple question. When a ransom is paid do we give a tip to the captors.
Everyone who acknowledged Jesus sacrifice knows it called a ransom sacrifice. Two points there. Jesus sacrifice would have to equal the value of a human' s life and he had to literally die to make the actual sacrifice to pay the price.
Now did he die or not?
Very important did he die? Yes, he did. Went to the grave, his dead body was hung on a stake and was removed and prepped and placed in a tomb. Dead, dead, dead. If he died that alone shows this is not God. God does not and cannot die. Don't go beating around the bush and trying to make a mistaken view fit him. He does not die.
Second, again, do you give a person who asked for a million dollar ransom, let's say, a 100 billion dollars? Or maybe 500 dollars? No. What the ransom is, is what you pay and not a cent more or less. Adam was a perfect human being and became imperfect and lost our hope of eternal life, thats why Jesus had to become a perfect human being and die perfect to satisfy that ransom.
The bible calls him the second or last Adam.
When did God, become his son? You see its things like this that causes people confusion. Things that make sense can be reasoned on soundly with rational and simple points. Just like Jesus, he used simple illustrations. To drive home points. Someone may have a difficult time understanding God has no beginning or end, because we are fleshly and to us all things have a beginning or end, but, simple reasoning and illustrations, like with the number system; it has no beginning or ending. It starts where? Forward and background 1, 2, 3,…or -1, -2, -3…
But just a side note: John 14:28 when it said That the father is greater than I am. Throughout the Bible Jesus refers to hisself as the son of God. Hmmm. Interesting analogy, when you to use an illustration involving family ties to show equality would you not use siblings? Two brothers or two sisters maybe even identical twins. Not a father and son to show equality.
Just think, the purpose in using this analogy was not to show equality it was simply to show unity in purpose. Unity in purpose, but, not person.
A son does not share the same authority as his father. Neither does he have the same privileges. Think about it. Their roles are not interchangeable. Just ask the wife of the father. Can a son share his father's bed, that's disgusting and out of the question! Ask the child's mother and see what she would say. The father instructs and dictates how things are to be done. The son or daughter will follow through. The child is doing exactly what the father wanted them to do and what he himself would do if he were executing the action himself. The same thing Jesus did. Again unity in purpose, not, person. John 10:30, 17:21
You see, we can always take a point, single it out and it can seem to make fit a narrative. That's called taking it out of context. Here's the challenge. Put it back. Does it make sense or say the same thing?
Jesus is not God because he denied any claim. He never said I am God. You never read Jesus saying, “I am God". Find a verse where he says that. It does not exist. You do however, find verses when not in context can be used that way.
I and the father are one. Interesting Jesus said something that everyone who is married is supposed to do. Become one. Genesis 2:24. How can married people become one? Again put it back in context. They are one in purpose or goals. They want to work towards the unity of this arrangement. So simple, the same way Jesus was one with his father. One goal or purpose. To break up the works of the devil and by means of God's kingdom government restore the world back to the perfect condition it had when God created the Earth and all in it. That's why he preached about it.
Jesus had qualities similar to his father, but, he also was a different person. To illustrate: One might say about my son, and they do, you are just like your father. You look like him, you speak like him and walk like him. You even act like him. He has heard this expression over and over again, “when looking at you, it's like looking at your father”. It is very true. I never disagree and neither does my son. However, he is NOT my husband and he is NOT his father.
Figuratively speaking all these points are true and likewise was with Christ. He could say figuratively when his disciples asked, show us the father, when you have seen me you have seen the father. He was representing his father so well, by behavior. They did not think he God is Jesus. And again Jesus would not say, “I am the father.”
Also remember no one can kill God. No one. Jesus was killed. Jesus died. God cannot die. Jesus was resurrected by his father, God.
No one man may see God and yet live. Many saw Jesus he walked the Earth. John 1:18
Jesus did not know things that God did. We cannot say otherwise that would be calling Jesus a liar.
Another small point when you go through all this riga morrow to say Jesus is God, where's the holy spirit? Where? Just think.
If you feel any way about the doctrine you are clinging to, and I believe you know where you are going. Research where it came from and when it really entered the Christian congregation. It was not always so.
Remember Jewish people were the first to be chosen as members of the kingdom rulers because of Abraham. Ask them, do you believe in the trinity? They will not. Another side point.
Will these points affect you or help you understand the truth about God and Jesus role in God's purpose? I hope so.
Why don't you simply read Philippians 2:5-11
Jesus never tried to be equal to God. He died and was raised up by God and he received again a kingdom all to the glory of God. Like humans who are able to accomplish things all to the glory of God. We don't take credit we give God the glory because we know his blessing is what gave us these privelege to accomplish good. Are we God also? Anyway. Why not read this and reflect. It's very clear also two individuals are discussed.
The best one that I use is John 17:3 where Jesus, himself, in a prayer to his heavenly Father calls his Father “the only true God” and describes himself as “the one sent” by his Father. The reason why I like this one is as follows:
It is spoken by Jesus himself.
It is clear, simple and easy to understand.
It is the same in all translations.
It is important to believe as it is prefaced with the words “This means eternal life”.
Finally, this verse together with the context shows that even though Jesus had a prehuman glorious existence, he had a very high regard for his heavenly Father and wanted t
There are several good answers that you have gotten I will add a few more scriptures.
Jesus never claimed to be God, instead he referred to his heavenly father as “the only true God” and as “my God and your God”.
John 17:3 - This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
John 20:17 - ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
Jesus refused to be addressed as “Good Teacher” saying that only God is good:
Mark 10:18 KJ - And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that i
It does not require to be one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to read the words of Jesus, denying he is “the one who sent him forth.”
But let’s see if the words equal to God appear in the scriptures. Yes! The exact words are found at
    John 5:18 -

Trinitarian or Unitarian: Does it really matter?
For hundreds of years most Christians have proclaimed to the world that Jesus Christ is “God.” They have told us that God exists co-equally in three persons. They say the Father, Son and Holy Spirit all exist in “one God.” Many even say that those who don’t believe that Jesus is God are not saved.
The Bible says that “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9).
For many non-Christians, the idea of a 3-in-1 God is very confusing and unbiblical. Take, for example, Jews and Muslims. Both are monotheistic, which means they believe in “one” God. Most of them won’t even consider believing in a God that exists in “three persons,” because they reason that 1 + 1 + 1 does not equal one God.
Millions of Jews and Muslims have completely denied Jesus as their Lord, because of the teaching that he is God, and they simply cannot accept a Triune God.
    So the concern is…
How many more people would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord (and be saved) if he were not presented to them as the “second member of the Trinity”?
Possibly millions? Surely this doctrine has confused and turned away a countless number of people since it was created more than 1,500 years ago. How sad to think that the idea of the Trinity has caused many to reject or even walk away from our Lord.
    What honors Jesus more?
    1. That he was God in human flesh - a “Godman,” who didn’t truly have free will, who couldn’t have sinned; “God the Son,” who always did the will of God the Father and always did what was right; “God the Son,” who died (How could God die?) for the sins of all mankind; “God the Son” come down from Heaven clothed in human flesh.
    Or…
    2. That Jesus was a flesh and blood human being who had free will, who could have sinned, but chose not to; the Son of God who laid down his life for his brothers and sisters; a man who could have disobeyed God’s plan for him, but who loved us so much that he chose to do God’s will and save us all; a man, who because of his accomplishments, was promoted to the right hand of God, made Lord over Heaven and Earth, and is now “functionally equal” with his God and Father.
For a human being with free will to never sin is the greatest accomplishment of all time. The idea that he is God greatly diminishes the magnitude of his heroism on our behalf.
Is Jesus God? Some say this argument is like “splitting hairs,” no big deal. But we say it’s one of the biggest attacks the Enemy has ever thrown at God’s people.
    John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
If we were the Enemy, and knowing God and Jesus Christ were the way to eternal life, we wouldn’t want people to know them. We would try to paint a different picture of God and a different picture of Jesus than what the Bible actually says. It is our belief that the primary attack of the Enemy has been an assault on the Word of God that began the moment it left the inspired hands that wrote it.
What a glorious opportunity we have right now to learn and proclaim the simple and liberating truth that “Jesus is Lord,” and that he will mentor each of us in the art of trusting our heavenly Father like he did.

No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” So if this is the case its not 3=1. Seems seperate to me and goes totally against what the OT says.

@@bt-lt4os so different places say different things thanks this even proves my point more appreciate it. Which is it if u cant go to father without son? Or your passage? You cant have both. Think about it If you cant go to father without son and in essence they are all the same how does that make any logical sense?

@@bt-lt4os so what does it mean u cant go to father without the son? What is it you have to do with the son if you can pray to father? U know it doesn’t make sense so there is no answer and is written by people who never even met the man.

@@bt-lt4os but arnt they the same? So if u accept God alone Whats the difference?? Why do you keep avoiding my question. Jesus a solution so now hes not God anymore? Which is it is he or is he not God? Now this is more confusing then before

@@bt-lt4os so he is not God anymore. They are not 3=1 anymore? What you just sent shows thAt. How can the father be greater if they are technically the same. Thanks for sending all these passages appreciate it. Now i can show my neighbor all of this. And for you. Read this 1. Deuteronomy 4:35,39 - Unto thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. (39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
Seems like he doesn’t need anyone else. What does no one else mean to you?

    "FATHER" = MIND
    "MOTHER" = THOUGHT
    "SON" = CONSCIOUSNESS
These Three are ONE "SPIRIT" ( MIND )...and "God is Spirit..." ( John 4:24 )
    "spirit" = MIND ( Thought / Consciousness )
    THINK GNOSTIC !

I am a Christian and I agree with Rabbi Singer 100 % in regard to the trinity! the trinity is Christianity's(Catholicism's) self-inflicted wound.

For example: Obviously i have a body, as well as an "animal" soul (nefesh HaBahamis) and a Divine soul ( nefesh HoElokis). When i die my spirit and body separate, but i am NOT a trinity.
      I am 1 (echad).
All people are created in the image of G-d. G-d : Father, the living torah (yeshua), ruach hakodesh are 1 (echad).
Yochanan 10:30 I and my Father are echad.
      Yochanan 14:8-10
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.
      Yeshua answered:
“Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father.
How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?

Rabbi, you weren't fair. You asked the caller not to takj about Islam, but you mentioned Catholics and Mormons. You and I both know that those 3 are not a part of Christianity. I'm sure you're educated enough to know this, especially through many years of debate. Then you also know why they aren't Christian. If you don't know then let's agree you're not qualified to speak on Christianity.

Christian apologists will in the same debate argue that their god sustains the order in the universe creating the laws of logic, such as identity and non contradiction. Then state 1=3
