They are now about to enter the promised land and Moses is not allowed to take them in. The next chapters deal with how they are to divide and maintain the land. I grew up in that indoctrination, not knowing that my ancestors, from both my parents, because of the Inquisition of Spain. After Hashem, blessed is He spoke to me, I researched and found out my ancestry. I was a child. I wasn't broken down, I was broken down been a Catholic, then later on been a Pentecostal Christian, but I found the truth of Hashem, Creator of the universe, by the Most High God calling me to return to my roots. I wish, before is too late, that people see the true God. Our Creator of the universe. He doesn't need to come down to earth, become a man and die to save His creation. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is indeed a righteous god, but the god of Christianity is not.

If God were to have body and form, He would be limited and defined, because it is impossible for there to be a body which has no limitation. Everything that has limitation and definition, by virtue of its body, also has a limited and bounded power. Since God's ability and power have no limitation or boundary, His power is not the power of a body. And since He does not have a body or any form, He cannot be affected by any circumstances that can affect a body, as for example the effects of being separate from another entity. Thus it is impossible for Him to be anything other than one (the Divine Code by Rabbi Moshe Weiner, 2011, page 47).

Even Christians admit, if thinking about the Greek writings, that God cannot lie or be tempted. So God cannot do absolutely everything. And being infinite doesn’t mean one can or will do anything.

Do you know anything about Greek philosophy? Do you know who Plato was?, Do you know about Platonism, Neoplatonism and Gnosticism?. Do you know the Platonic concept of “The One”?, Do you know about Hellenistic Judaism?.
There are two Gods that we have now a days. One is the God presented by theology who is non-anthropomorphic, an all-powerful, omniscient, omnipresent and transcendental God. The other one is the God presented by the Torah, Tanah or Bible, who is an anthropomorphic God that according to what is writing in the Bible we can read that is not an spiritual being, but He was actually a corporeal being, He was actually a man (Exodus 15: 3). We can read in the Bible how Jacob had a fight with him and he actually said that he saw his face (Gen 32: 22 - 30), He has hands (Exodus 33:22), He is not perfect, He regrets several times and change of opinion (Genesis 6:6, Exodus 32:14).
If you ever study this topic, you will realize that the God our society believes in, is not the God from the Bible, but the God presented by Greek philosophers, and what modern theologians do is to take the God of the Bible and force him to fit into the classification of the theological God. Christians were the first who applied Greek concepts to their theology and Jews did the same 1000 years after Christians did that. Modern theology comes from pagans.
I really do not want to be offensive, but I do want to be honest. Warrior told you something that is totally right. You will never find the modern definition of God there in the Bible. If you ever read the Bible, being honest with yourself, you will realize that there is no difference between the God that is described there and the other pagan gods.

Where did you get that? Catholic priests who have not made a vow of poverty (in which case they have nothing to leave) are free to leave their money and possessions to whoever they choose. They might not have children but they have brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, etc.
The church provides for them their entire life.

There is no reason for the Creator to ever become the flesh He created. Man did not create G-d....G-d is the creator.
