    Allright, objective achieved. Now I'd like to see you add another $3k & twin lock it to show what a budget build with lockers, breathers, catch can & extra fuel filter can do on the tracks.
    You are doing a great job of showing everyone what you can achieve on a budget. Too many rigs, sit in sheds for years, instead of hitting the tracks, because we all want shiny mega dollar rock crawlers, that don't get used

      Yeww I agree 🔥 so good having a budget rig to flog off-road!

    Good to see a cheap nugget tackling the tracks makes the hobby easy to get into for new comers.

    Recently got a red Td mj and I’m super keen to see how it goes with some budget bits because it’s already surprised with he dumb spots she’s driven me through. Highly recommended

    There comes a point where to wield a weapon of a rig your nuts are the limiting factor. That’s why a somewhat stock rig is so much fun imo. Just because you don’t have to get to the MASSIVE stuff before you struggle and have fun

    • @RoamLyfe
      @RoamLyfe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    just an extra 500 bucks on a 4wd systems lokka and maybe some scissor shackles and its would double its of raod ability. Btw it would also do better with more weight on the back as your often lifting rears rather then fronts therefore not getting value from the lsd. Alternatively, neat trick, you can preload the lsd with a few clicks of the hand brake and it actually makes a noticeable difference.

    Fantastic rig for $4k build.
    Now let’s put some science to get more funds.
    Now if your normal 4 wheel driver say drinks 2 cartons of beer a week then his or her cost approximately $100 per week….note I have used the beer as a standard unit of financing but this would be changed to wine or spirits if and where needed for the particular 4wder in question.
    Now if someone is committed to 4wding and beer (or other nectar from the gods) they can undertake a fund raising campaign by realigning their monetary budgetting going from beer to 4wding .
    Hence they reduce their beer (or other nectar from the gods) intake to 1 carton (or 50%) per week and hence the cost of the other carton (or 50% reduction) goes to funding 4wding budget. A carton of xxxx is $50 and after 6 months the a total budget of $1300 is then available to put into the rig!
    Hence we now have a business plan for getting more available funds in 6 months time.
    In that 6 months you then decided what you will spend your next $1300 on by going camping and 4wding as research into what is next for your rig.
    I would say front auto lokka, 12 volt system awning and some other items.
