This is the all-new Ferrari 296 GTB - and it’s the first V6 Ferrari since 1974!
The fact it’s Ferrari’s first V6 in 47 years isn’t the only surprising thing here, though - it’s also a plug-in hybrid! However, that’s no bad thing - this 2.9-litre V6-powered PHEV can still put down an awesome 830hp & 740Nm of torque!
And that’s not all! It’ll have no problem shooting you to over 205mph, and doing so by getting you to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds! But of course, all that power doesn’t come cheap, with prices expected to come in around £230,000!

sf90 was released this year so it’s pretty obvious this car was in production by that time. so there’s no way they could’ve changed it

@@samueljones3668 I agree. For me the 488 was the best looking Ferrari of the past decade, because I loved the 458 and I thought the changes they made complimented the body very well. After that it was all down hill. But this doesn't only apply to the V8's, I think the same happened with the F12 and the 812.

I kinda don't mind the F12 look the 812 still has since, at least the GT cars kept the original Ferrari style of 2 cars looking the same as an evolution. I mean we got 2 versions of the 550 before it got replaced by the Scagletti and that was eventually replaced by the 599 GTB which shared the same design elements.

I think the design of the light could be done in a better way. If the day lights were integrated with the main lights and the main light split horizontally into two parts that would make the rear and front end look much better in my opinion.
Round headlights would’ve been more interesting
When I look at the car overall without focusing at them it looks good. When I look at the lights I think that seems like generic mclaren lights and i don’t know what I think about it.
Exactly. I'm liking Ferrari's more classic inspired styling of late (I'm a big fan of the Roma), but those blocky SF90 headlights don't fit the curvy 60's styling of the rest of the car.

I wonder if the engine in this and the engine in the Alfa Romeo Quadrifolio models are the same as they are both 2.9L 6 Cylinders. The Alfa's engine is always praised as being Ferrari derived..

The bore and stroke are the same than on the MC20 engine only the angle between cylinders banks is different. The wheelbase is different too but I feel that 2 cars have got a lot in common.

I dont like the latest Ferraris. Last beautiful Ferrari was 458 imo, and it was designed by Pininfarina (F50, F355, 550/575 Maranello, 599 gtb, etc.). Ferrari should contact Pininfarina again.

i think the 488 was the last beautiful ferrari tbh. 458 was nice but the 488 evolved its design perfectly.

Still a 8,6K RPM+ redline (limited) from the factory. It's awesome for a 2021 car. Just install a CBS intake system at 9K+ RPM and you have a V6 that sound exactly/better than a V12.

I remind you that all the 911, including the gt2rs, the gt3rs and the Turbo S have always had 6 cylindres. Nobody has ever complained.

You mistook Artura's dry weight for its wet weight. Artura is about 70+ kg lighter than the 296gtb's lightest configuration.
