Ferrari is entering a new era. Soon an SUV will join its line-up, and in 2025 we’ll see the first-ever Ferrari EV. But the brand isn’t turning its back on combustion-engined sports cars just yet, because its latest offering - the 296 GTB - has arrived, featuring some incredible technology. It packs an 819bhp punch in one of the most compact packages we’ve ever seen roll out of the gates of the Maranello factory.

Nice to see a Car that hasn’t ducts and scoops all over it, it’s pretty, Ferrari seems to have found a new seam to mine for good looking Cars again.
True, the Roma and this 296 have been been very elegant designs

Probably my favourite Ferrari since the f355. Looks stunning, so elegant, and the engine has more than a whiff of v12 about the sound! They’ve done an amazing job.
V12 sound in V6 engine 🤯
It looks great. Reminds me a 246 Dino, but much more modern and intense.
A true Ferrari and it is a very goodlooking Ferrari. It has a wonderfull engine, lot of feedback and a hybride engine with lots of hp and torque. A proper Ferrari and I want one 😎
Stunning car, and in a nice compact package. This, and the equally, if not more, beautiful GTS are at the top of my "want to have it" list of current production cars. I'm not convinced the hybrid systems here are really a necessary complexity , but I suppose that's the future of supercars and it seems to all come together well here. I'lll take a Rosso Scuderia GTB and a Blu Corsa GTS, thank you! :) I appreciate all sports cars and, while I may flirt with a Lambo or McLaren from time to time, there is just something special about a Ferrari. Great review.

It’s funny when he said “when you turn 296 on it defaults to e-drive mode” and yet at the same time he had to push the button switching from hybrid to e-drive mode.

I'm italian and I think that the Artura is much more beautiful. But the Ferrari powertrain is on another level

Agree with others love rear arch and back is OK but does it give you the feel this is a ferrari when coming at u. I really don't think so a ferrari has to make you go wow that looks like a lot of other cars imo from the front.

Sound is very flat and generic, at least on video... Overall looks a great inside and out, extremely fast with 100-200km/h in the high 4 second range! Just not sure its the best "pure drivers car" in its segment...
Is it me or has Ferrari gone a little bit Corvette-y recently? The Roma looks a little like the C2 Corvette and I can't help but think that this 296 looks like C8 !
Its just you. Roma is a typical FR GT car (ala Aston Martins). 296 is typical MR Super car form. Given Ferrari has been making both form factors for decades where Corvette has only just started with mid engined cars; if anything Corvette has copied Ferrari.

What I dont understand is how they made the engine cope with full power, from stone cold..? I suppose todays young drivers wouldn’t think twice about it. Turning to ”performance” mode and just step on it…

I find the new front end design theme hideous throughout the ferrari lineup. It's very simplistic and unbalanced. Unfortunately, the 296 gets the worst front end of them all. OMG I cannot get over how ugly this car looks.

Is this a corvette or a Ferrari I mean at this point I can’t tell the difference anymore and there in lies the problem with this brand they’re losing their identity you can’t tell the models apart from each other anymore ludicrous
The shape is gorgeous. The car they took inspiration from was way before any modern vet, so it's actually the other way around. Vets are too angular. They're fast but got no class
