Probably one of my favorite MCP Batrep channels. I find a lot of channels are very slow or opaque, where yours are easy to follow even on my second monitor.
Firstly, welcome to the game! Magneto most likely had Magnetic Refraction (his tactic card) up at that point, which gives cover to any allied models within a certain range of him, including himself. Unlike cover from terrain, cover from abilities or tactics cards doesn't go away when the attacking model is close to them, the most common example of this is Rocket Raccoon, who *Always* benefits from cover unless the attack explicitly ignores it (Like Captain America's Shield Throw). Hope this helps!
@@shaunkrogulski9619 definitely a violent one! We tend to avoid bringing too much of the stuff that's just good for the sake of good, like Dynamo, it'll still happen, but when it's a fun casual (and thematic) game like this we try to avoid it.
Your battle reports are my favorite. You jump right into the action and its a great learning tool for a new player like me.
@@Kaylubdee Glad you enjoy them, and I'm glad I can help newer players learn the game!
@@ZetroxWargamingThis is so true! For us new player it is hard to find any gameplay that we can follow
Good showing for Brotherhood, I might put that affiliation at the top of my list to get to the table next
@@travisskane5459 they're definitely high on my list, all my local stores have been sold out of the affiliation box but they seem really fun to play

@@SorcerySpeedConcede Glad to hear you've been enjoying them, and that we can keep them easy to follow!
Hi there! I’m still a beginner for MCP. How did Magneto benefit from cover at around 12:17? Thanks!

Fun bloody game! I was surprised there wasn't a Dynamo on either side considering the crisis cards

@@ZetroxWargaming that is fair 😁
