Love this new series. I never knew Jarvis had that feature. I'll have to check it out. You did a great job with the Arkham Dark Knight.

I think it is thematic, but definitely too strong for a 4 threat. If he is sneaking around in predator mode he should be slower than when he is just running and fighting. Having super stealth and a way to move when they are close gives you too much control over engagement. That coupled with if they do break your stealth since it is a transform mechanic you essentially can bump back and if they are only range 2 they can't double tap him. I think the starting in predator mode is interesting just not sure it is really a tenable mechanic again as it is a teansform you can manipulate ranges. His front side should only have attacks that gain him power. He then functions like a Captain Marvel 2 with a turn or two (should be closer to two turns as he is a 4 threat) then he has an explosive turn. Overall there is a lot of good ideas there but needs a bit of refinement

Wait a sec.....Beatdown gets endless triggers as long as you roll a wild? On 6 dice? That sounds way too strong for the "weaker" side to me....

I'm only 20:00 in, but I have 2 notes/thoughts... 1. Batarangs are not really usually used at super long range. I feel Batarangs attacks should be range 3, and free flow strike should be range 2. 2. I would have reduced each of his movement values by a stage. I also would have given the smoke bomb power a range 2 teleport (if he takes no damage? Or 1 and less?) AND given him a movement power in predator mode that's more offensive than 'stealth dodge'. I also just thought of; "Kevlar Body Armour: If an attack targeting this character throws 8 or less dice, reduce the damage taken by 1." Just my thoughts. 😅

rock and troll is great to steal a back point by placing 5 and double tapping the opponent back point holder ...u either daze them on end up contesting the point also forcing opponent to deal with him just a thought

I played a similar list today with Mister Sinister, I pushed him up the middle, spending all his tokens for damage reduction and handing out roots with Loki supporting, he easily two-on-oned two brawlers. Mind Transfer was a key card -- I look at it as discouraging aggressive movement through the threat of transferring an enemy token an then dazing them. Sinister repositioning someone for this, or just Emma's builder repositioning them to a very bad position can really ruin somebody's turn.

A META list VS an affiliation with a very old leader, I wonder what will happen? Having the dice as the second opponent certainly didn't help 👀

Great video! I wonder how he would play in Apocalypse. I take Pyro to apply slow and root on specific models I want Apocalypse to go into. Mordo can fill a similar role with a Pestilence model on the same side.

I love the potential of Baron Mordo, unfortunately I've never really seen him shine in any of the games I've watched/played. I don't know what it is, but something about his kit only makes him do a couple of impactful things in a game, and the rest of the time he's just... there. This is of course only my experience, and your milage may vary. Don't know what I would change about him, but it's like his kit is trying to do too much at the same time?

Fun game! I was surprised you didn't take Okoye or Black widow 3. I think both do a lot for you in this match up. I would probably have dropped Carol for a 3 threat (Valkyrie) and Okoye and drop spider woman for black widow 3.

Hmmm... Not my favorite affiliations, but since there's a Hulk, I have to root for A-Force. Hoping for an interesting game! :D

He wasn't out at the time you made this, (or at the time of me posting this) but dracula looks really promising for a leader ability. All your 2 threats become thralls and whenever they activate you get to put bleeds everywhere or heal themselves. While 1 more threat than Emma, I think the leadership ability works really well.

Great list! I think if you made this list just a tad later as you mentioned you would have included mephisto, which I think is a staple for this theme. Dracula's leadership, while good for what it wants to do, messes up some synergy as you want that power to counterattack. Mephisto's leadership would definitely help in that regard. Lastly, and I don't think you mentioned it unless I missed it, is that dracula's counter trigger is range 3, but his only range 3 attack is his spender so there are definitely ways the opponent can abuse it. If I may suggest another character inspired by your picks, OG Ghost Rider has a similar skill to Loki2's in that he damages per enemy crits. I feel like you can make this lethal bubble around mephisto where people are getting hurt directly or indirectly no matter who they choose to target. Imagine a character attacking Dracula, getting clapped back, gwenom clapping back, getting a damage on a skull, then getting 1 damage per crit in the roll. If I was the opponent in that situation I would just try a pacifist/displace only run at that point 🤣

This looks like a lot of fun to play! You could name it Crack Backula :)

I have heard folks talking about a list like this. I think I would drop killmonger 2 from your list and add Electro. They attack him they get zapped for 1 and shock making attacking anyone else even less appealing. Then you pull him back and they either have to chase him or attack the pure crack back models with less dice.

I had a similar thought for a list, but after Mephisto was shown (which may have been before this video). I think Mephisto is fun for this list style because he gets more power out, and he can force opponents into counter attackers when he is attacked. If going to the Dracula route I'd get 3 threat Zemo in there, he is technically a counter-attacker and his bleeds synergize great with the leadership

I love these themed lists.... I played a ricochet list a few weeks back.... wasn't the best but was funny when all shields bounced....

I just played Ulik in Magnetos brotherhood with Juggernaut.... it was brutal and REALLY fun...

Ulik is good, but with some recent and/or upcoming releases I think he will be even more scarce than he was. Want to have a model to chase, take Namor. Want a bully model that punches hard and can sit on a point, take Abomination. I think kingpin probably still prefers him to these two but other than him he is largely replaced. I know he has been run in Inhumans, but Thor 2 and Namor overshadow him now there.

Simple, yet deceptively powerful. The only thing that holds him back a little is that he is, in my opinion, a little too power-hungry for you to do what you want regularly (even with Trollish Temper). If put into a team with good power generation he seems awesome, otherwise I think you're better off with someone else.

Fun game! I am curious why dracula didn't use the leadership to apply bleed to rhino turn 3 to set up the spender. I think letting him use his heroes card is fine as you will likely heal the damage it does if it does any

I really hope Dracul.... ehm Knull wins this. That Energizer Rhino needs to die every single video he's in. I can look past purple Venom since I can pretend it's overenthusiastic/stylized highlighting, but that Rhino paint scheme is abhorrent XD Post-Watch: Too bad the Klyntar invasion failed, but the biggest disappointment is that Rhino was alive on the board at the end of it... Sorry about the disheartening rolls though. Still a fun game to watch :D

Great overview, hood is an interesting character. I find he tends to be pretty squishy as reduce by 2 to a minimum of 1 is great but typically you are flipping after taking 2-3 damage so it is way less good then. For that reason he actually pairs really well with Klaw, who incidentally is immune to bleed. Speaking of bleed immune models you failed to mention his synergy with the strongest affiliation in the game... sentinel 😁

Thank you for the video, steal some ideas ;) Easily one of favorite models in the game. Love him in hydra, sometime pick him in sons. He is first character i thought, when i saw dracula leadership. And planning test him in Mephisto!

Hood was one of the first models I ever bought when getting into this game and I love everything about him. Easily one of the most unique cards in this game for sure. I liked using him with Dorm+Bill on 15 gamma or demons because they were immune to his bleed heal and he could keep them healthy and fighting very easily. But I think I found his best niche spot under Cap1 Avengers. Play him with the Reserve Members TTC, keep him near Cap1, and they become a very effective mid line duo to hold a point on one side of the table. He gains essentially 4 dice with blanks for 1 power when first attacked each turn, which is surprisingly tanky, and then you have the option of bodyguarding with cap, who then can be healed back up by Hood for only 2 power. Also makes his lightning arc a little more worth it at 7/9 dice respectively, or a 7 die razor talons which is a very reliable builder as we've seen on the tall characters. Just a really fun model to play when things all fall in line.

Hood is also a solid Dormammu pick. He likes the extra power and can use it out of activation in normal mode. That and he can keep Dorm healed up

I like to use him with Winterguard. He shines there as a very effective combat medic since the allies get rid of bleed for free w leadership ability

When rhino did the double move on turn 2 is their a reason he didn't use his attack to place on the point instead of just moving?

That's just atrocious XD Post-Watch: The CS defense rolls at the start of the game, along with the mostly failed WW attack rolls the rest of the game was rough... Good game, but very one-sided. Still can't get my head around that Rhino paint scheme though XD

Great Batrep. Instead of throwing the car at Magik you could have use Radiation zone for an auto 2 damage and Spiderwoman doesnt get dazed!

Apocalypse is such a negative play experience. Not as bad as 15 pt asgard but not real fun to play against.
