It does seem like Lundy and Vlad will have a stellar season together if Zito can sign them both. They were like lock-and-key during the playoffs, plus Vlad's veteran experience is a fantastic resource for Anton.

OMG for all those wishing Lundell to sign... Of course hes gonna sign. He is an RFA and Florida is not going to let him leave. He will certainly be on the team. I think that Tarasenko will return too. He lives in Broward and he doesn't want to leave the convenience that he has playing with the Panthers. I think that they are asking for a discount and discussing which number works for both sides.
I don't suspect Terasenko will return honestly. But we have young guys looking for spots, so it won't hurt

They should have given Montour what he wanted. He is following the money and now will chirp in Seattle the structure of the panthers. Hard to go back to back when you lose key players.
Anyone else think Montour is certifiably insane to leave the Panthers A+++ organization and potential for another Cup run just for a few more million long term? Money talks but does it really? After a few consecutive seasons in the NHL's gutter, no playoffs and a massive nosedive in his own offensive output, I bet Montour will privately be lamenting blowing out of Florida just to make $49 million instead of something like $35-$40 million.
well he can always send text messages to the current panthers in the upcoming seasons like Gudas. hey guys, made some money, enjoying the off season. What are the playoffs like? Money or winning. It happens. Honestly Montour and his future is in question for me. He had major issues with hitting the net all season long and really had issues in the playoffs. Multiple surgeries and those aren't going to get better as he ages. Might be a blessing that they didn't lock him in. The Kracken have their own system. They aren't going anywhere any time soon. They didn't do the expansion draft like Vegas. They choose many bad players to try be smart about it. They have years to go before being a contender or even a playoff team.
Bro, what? Montour was barely visible in the playoffs, he's not like 2022-23 Montour. He also gave up a lot of pucks to the Oilers that ended up in goals. If 7 million is what Montour wanted to stay in Florida, you can count out Tarasenko, Lundell and all the other signings. Have faith in Zito.
Monty should have put brotherhood before money. To all the backstabber money hungry turn coats and sellout traitors I hope that was the last cup they seen. Hope they see the panthers win again and again but this time from the sidelines. Some people have no loyalty but only follow the money.
