I don't know if everyone can appreciate the effort he put in to keep that team loose for Game 7, but they should. Really looks like EVERYONE played an important role, all season long.
The man cares about this team, and the direction it heads. He took a team that was stuck in years of bad management, awful teams, relocation rumors, and turned it into a Cup winning team. It took some time, as all good things do, but he saved this franchise, and for once made me proud to be a South Floridian. I knew from last year's Cup Final run that it wasn't gonna be the last time we saw the Cats in the Final, and I also knew eventually this team would win. What I did not expect was that this team would win the very next year. It makes for an incredible story, and this team has cemented hockey in South Florida. Gotta love it :)
I said it before on another board, but when the Marlins and Heat won their championships, I cheered. When the Panthers won, I cried. There have been some really dark years for us. I never thought I would see us finally reach the mountaintop.
It felt nice to see the Cats finally do it. Long time coming. It'll feel pretty similar if the fish ever do it again. Many dark years there, lol. Cheers! Vamos Gatos!

Ever since the 90's when I was still playing junior hockey back in Finland, our team lines where formed based on NHL teams and I was part on Panthers line. I have been Panthers fan ever since and now in a way the dream comes true even for me to see this team winning the Stanley cup. All though, I am not playing in this winning team, but for sure I was imagining that I would be playing in Panthers and win the cup. Congratulations guys, amazing journey so far. I'm sure this is not it though... we'll see next season where we end up! Go cats!!!!

I would absolutely LOVE an entire DVD of the Panthers season with narration and story as the season progressed and into the playoffs, including the celebrations and afterwards! Sometimes other teams would release a DVD detailing home life for some of the players during their Playoff runs, their families' thoughts on the run, and then it did game footage and narration there. I would CHERISH one of these if the Panthers did a DVD!
