For "Poker Night at the Inventory" I believe they made actual poker chips with all of the character's faces on them but I don't think they were sold to the public. They were only given to companies and brands, which sucks because I would've loved to have owned those poker chips. Here's a link to the artist's website, Stephen Whetstine. He made the poker chips as well as a other Telltale Games products. onebluebird.artstation.com/projects/6a20gx
Theoretically, one COULD rip the card design assets from the game files, and COULD have a custom playing card company print them. What one does with them would be up to the said-person’s desire.
Brock's reaction to the Borderlands setting is further proof they should have made a spin off game with all these guys going with Claptrap to Pandora. "Classy, like a strip club with explosives."
I can imagine the title: Borderlands: Inventory Aftermath Brock: Bowie Bruiser Claptrap: Not HIM Again! Ash: Temporal Badass Sam and Max: Lawman and Lunatic
Brock gets in close, and goes on a stabbing spree with his Bowie knife, using his SPHINX experience to keep his opponents guessing. Claptrap... About the same as the Pre-Sequel, maybe a few nerfs and buffs here and there. Ash would use his experience with time travel to slow down time around him, allowing him to blow the baddies to kingdom come! Sam and Max would be unique in that they could switch with each-other. Sam has a lot more HP, but doesn't do much in melee. Max has low HP, but REALLY shows what a rabid rabbit looks like! He's like Krieg if he were covered in white fur!
@@masterofdimensions7928 *Go ahead...* : Brock pulls out his knife, gaining significant damage reduction and massive melee damage. Skill trees can upgrade boomstick damage, decrease charge cost per shot and allow for kills to refill a portion of ability charge, and cause an enemy to randomly drop the Necronomicon upon death, causing a random effect upon pickup, from summoning a witch to buff Ash in combat, to summoning skeletons from the ground to pin enemies in place, to instantly recharging ability.
We need the intro too! *ahem*.... *gets the accent of a certain gun dealer* So, you want another tale of the brave Vault Hunters huh. Well if not, too bad, I got a doozy. Apparently, the little idiot Claptrap was sent to another planet for a card game. There, he met a testosterone fueled man man, a zombie fighting weirdo, and an anthropomorphic dog. Spund intresting? Well, it was! And the robot convinced these three to come to Pandora. The timing couldn't have been better. Rumors now escalated of a new vault. One that, based on reading, had a creature inside that could only be stopped by beings from other worlds. How ironic, that this robot would unintentionally assemble the exact team needed to save not just Pandora, but the galaxy on the whole. We thought we were screwed. Then..... they got in their first fight... (OK guys, someone take it from there!)
As I briefly mention in the other video, there is an unused Inventory theme based around *The Walking Dead.* Almost of the dialogue for it is complete, including conversations and eliminations, AND the player's victory sequence. Unfortunately, that's a s far as assets go for the theme. Nothing else exists in the game files aside from an in-game conversation that alludes to the cut content.
I'm curious as to what character would have shown up to represent that series. It wouldn't be Negan, because he didn't exist at the time this game came out. Maybe Rick?
Judging by an unused dialogue, Larry was gonna be the Walking Dead rep. TF2's Medic was also gonna be in the game, judging by the dialogue, and Ash and Sam were already set in (if not Sam then Sam and Max in general, although I'm willing to bet they already pinned down Sam.) Doc Brown and Marty McFly were also considered, but rejected.
@@thebiolibrary5572Well that sounds like a terrible idea. Who would ever wanna hang out with LARRY of all people?! If they were gonna pick someone from the telltale games, I think Clementine would be the best option. Imagine Clem hanging out with these guys, the jokes would almost write themselves!
