Fun fact: The ''Alien Invasion'' cards Brock mentioned, were actually a real thing. Released in the 1960's, these cards featured people falling to their deaths, people getting impaled, families being crushed to death, aliens tearing out organs, exposed organs, blood, gore, nudity, dogs getting killed and a suggested child murder. Oh, and these were intended for kids. They were _really_ fucked up, makes me wonder how they even got on the market to begin with.
( 14:14 ) "Brock wins the hand" Brock: "Get ready for your vacation, boys, 'cause here comes the Samsonite." *Literally three seconds later.* Brock: "SON OF A BITCH!!!" That outburst always gets me. It comes from out of nowhere.
He literally just remembered that he was potentially one round away from losing. Being in such a disadvantage is really bad, thanks to the assholes that just use their reserves as weight to slowly grind you to dust.
I did some research on the alien invasion cards. What GLaDOS said is true. I saw some of the art work and HOLY FUCK! Made me wonder if there really were intended for kids.
The "Alien Invasion" cards you found were actually the MARS ATTACKS Series which started as 55 cards and eventually became 100, also the series had to be edited to be less sexual and violent. It got a movie in '96.
If they ever make a third they should have a feature where you can ask questions/make comments to the other players, maybe via some lists or something. Adds some interactivity.
Iunno. I admit I have a thing for silent protagonists, especially if it's easy to self-insert. Mind, you can make fun of them, but I feel myself easily immersed if it's me voicing stuff to myself rather than pre-written dialogue. What's absolutely golden about these conversations is that they are all from random amazing and hilarious characters that have amazing chemistry. If a feature comes about questions and the like, maybe it can be in the form of a subject wheel or something. Which... then again, also makes me think it could also be a brilliant poker strategy: Have your opponents chat, reveal tells, allowing you to read them more easily, especially through the way they may deliver their dialogue.
wait if you are lucky in cards and unlucky in love, Claptrap is unlucky in cards so is he lucky in love? Glados...you just added fuel to his burning passion for you. lol
I love the growly embarrassment in Brock's tone when he says "Any of you guys know anything about . . . trading cards?" It's a small detail of voice-work, but a good one. Also, at 5:24, reeeeal subtle Ash.
Tbh, I kinda like Poker Night 1’s version of bounties a lot better. Rather than then being asked to put up a bounty, at the start of the round, they actually don’t have enough money for the buy-in, so they put up an item in place, and anyone who knocks that player out gets the bounty. For example: Heavy doesn’t have enough funds for it, since he bought Sasha gifts, so he’d give Sasha to anyone who won the tournament
The cast of poker night 3 was made: Freddy fazbear or springtrap Jonesy or doom guy Springman or min min Sans or scout Like if you agree with my pics Comment on who you think the cast would’ve been
Man hope more steam keys become available some day I’d love to be able to play this game. I remember one of ky friends use to own it but he moved to California.
I distinctly remember watching watching this prize tournament on TH-cam and GlaDoS commenting that this trophy looked familiar. Anyone else remember that?
Just noticed a glitch starting at 7:40, Sam goes all in after Brock and dumps in his 15,200 chips, but it says he still has 8,900 chips left, which allowed him to stay in despite loosing
Reggie: To claim the bounty, all you have to do is win the tournament. Me: ... Say 'goodbye' to your trophy Claptrap, I'm not holding back. Claptrap: $#!+!!!!!
"Don't be discouraged, running in fear is a pretty natural response to a six foot tall dog with a gun."
described that way he sounds pretty scary.
It's a good thing he's on our side.
Nathan Case He is on his own side. And Maxes. But I guess he is always up for hire.
Dog: Cute
6 ft tall dog: somewhat scary
6ft tall dog with a gun?
*FUCK THIS SHIT I’M OUT*
I'd be eyeing him like a hawk the whole tournament.
He doesn't scare me. But I am very well aware what he's capable of.

For those wondering the real life set is called mars attacks though not nearly as many card only 55
I dont know why but i remember the game cards "illuminati"
Also looking them up, they look exactly like the Aliens from Tim Burtons's Mars Attack movie. I now see where he got the inspiration from.
"illegally" is my theory
... Oof
GlaDoS is savage.
"Gentlemen and Claptrap"
I mean... Claptrap isnt really a person and more a robot so it makes sense (and at least everyone else wore clothes to the tournament)
News Headline: Water is Wet
GLaDOS: 😎
Claptrap: 😐
Edward Richards no we are not starting this again
@@bonniefazman9065 water is theoretically wet as it is a liquid
13:28 "clear the brain, samson" "all in"
me: those two do not work well together in ANY circumstance
He's not exactly a cautious person.
Ash goes all in: Only one reaction.
The player goes all in: *_Everyone else reacts all at once._*
*Confused* *Confusing* *Confusion*
We are the center of attention in the game, though knowing me it would be warrantied. XD
Just realized that the music is a modified version of Borderlands 2 theme song ''Aint no place for a hero''
HOLY SHIT
It'S aCtUaLlY sHoRt ChAnGe HeRo
All the music is actually music from the characters respective franchises but its just been jazzified
8:23 - 10:30 That was literally the most mind boggling round of Texas Hold'Em I have ever seen.
3:27 - 5:03
Probably my favorite conversation in this game. I keep clicking back to that part just to hear it again!
There's actually more parts to this conversation
It's definitely a cool conversation
9:57 Poor Claptrap. He thought he was gonna win with a Full House against a Three of a Kind, and then the Robot Gods forsook him...
Oh well
Thank you, robot gods!
Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap
He's taking it well. Don't you agree?
Robot Gods: You owe us money, insignificant box of paperclips.
THERE IS NO ROBOT GOD!
( 14:14 )
"Brock wins the hand"
Brock: "Get ready for your vacation, boys, 'cause here comes the Samsonite."
*Literally three seconds later.*
Brock: "SON OF A BITCH!!!"
That outburst always gets me. It comes from out of nowhere.
He literally just remembered that he was potentially one round away from losing. Being in such a disadvantage is really bad, thanks to the assholes that just use their reserves as weight to slowly grind you to dust.
To be fair, that's due to the trophy, no idea what the hell his problem is with it
I did some research on the alien invasion cards. What GLaDOS said is true. I saw some of the art work and HOLY FUCK! Made me wonder if there really were intended for kids.
Was Dean's 256th card true too?
I was not able to confirm it. There were rumors of a special rare card.
The "Alien Invasion" cards you found were actually the MARS ATTACKS Series which started as 55 cards and eventually became 100, also the series had to be edited to be less sexual and violent. It got a movie in '96.
GLaDOS is a genetic lifeform, so its not surprising.
I too looked them up too, and they pretty freaky
I still watch these to this day because it's always nice to listen to this as you're falling asleep
If they ever make a third they should have a feature where you can ask questions/make comments to the other players, maybe via some lists or something. Adds some interactivity.
"so heavy, how's the pyro doing?" "PYRO IS NOYYING, HE GET JETPACK AND BLUE FIREBALL TAUNT THAT KEELS INSTANT!"
Sadly we won't see any chance for a number three. Telltale is closing up for good.
I was thinking a "ladies night" poker night 2.5 with having moxxi, lana from archer, lara croft from tomb raider, and finally harly quinn
@@RvBnerd618 However, a revival is being planned, as LCG Entertainment has bought the assets of Telltale.

I don't know about you but I only watch these for the conversations between the characters
wait if you are lucky in cards and unlucky in love, Claptrap is unlucky in cards so is he lucky in love? Glados...you just added fuel to his burning passion for you. lol
She's adding fuel to something, she's got a pilot light ready
We need to get our heads out of the gutter
GLaDOS: ... I would not recommend pursuing romantic interest with an AI on my level.
1:59 Love Sam's animation here: just feels so right for a dog playing poker XD
15:22 me when I have 1 chip left at the table
14:15 - 14:22 Bipolar Brock is bipolar
The blinds threw him off. XD
It's funnier since he gives away $600 and not $1,200
"Clear the brain, Samson.." "SONOFABITCH!!" :D
*ding*
14:22 ok.... thats a way to start a hand
Yes it is.
Wot?
He wasn’t even dealt his cards and he’s already losing it!
I didn't notice this at first but a jazzafied version of short change hero is playing in the background
13:34 You don't raise when someone is all-in!
Captain Virgil Games Unless they are bluffing c:
Junko Enoshima
When they're bluffing, you call, because there is no point in putting in more money.
Captain Virgil Games Sometimes raising against a bluff (only when NOT all-in) can flush out the bluff and force a fold.
Andrevus Whitetail
You can't fold when you're all in.
Captain Virgil Games note that i stated "sometimes" and "only WHEN not all-in"
8:57 oh god this game predicted the future of Telltale games
14:23 Fabulous way to start a hand.
6:28 Ash quietly saying 'Damn' always gets me, especially when he loses the hand (the round, not his actual hand).
"Well, that was a clever move that won't come back to bite you in your ample posterior"
Awwwww....gLaDos said I had a thick ass!
7:35 Brock's All-In there looked like an excuse to not tell said story.
“Get me the fuck out of here please”
Big brain play right there.
3:13 _you better be thanking your stars_
11:48
"Max?"
*Thud!*
MISSED ME MISSED ME NOW YOU HAVE TO KISS ME
I like how they rendered Brock Samson despite him coming from a 2-D animated show.
Brock: Oh come on, they're set on stun!
Me: Well, give me a couple nights to look at my schedule and I'll get back to you.
Talk to Patrick Warburton
Your one lucky guy or girl...ive enjoyed these videos it so fun watch you win by pure luck sometimes i dont know y
10:45
Claptrap: beaten by humans?
Me: you kinda got beaten by a dog too
3:08 Player is about to lose, And a card makes Both the Player and Ash win.
Funny how the inventory spends more time protecting the player than having good drinks
I like how they use the borderlands two intro theme
Roan Ferguson ikr, but i wasnt sure if it was really song " no place for no hero" (BL 2 intro song)
I’m surprised max didn’t destroy everything when jumping on the table because he doesn’t agree with the laws of physics
I always love it when Sam compliments you when ya play well. He's quite passive aggressive though...
"It's probably a typo. Have you seen the way teenagers type these days?"
*everyone looking at player*
Me:Um... what's wrong?
Me: Real funny guys.
Me: Jokes on you, I'm an adult.
I just realized the music is “no place for a hero” but jazzy. That’s so fucking good
I love the growly embarrassment in Brock's tone when he says "Any of you guys know anything about . . . trading cards?" It's a small detail of voice-work, but a good one. Also, at 5:24, reeeeal subtle Ash.
2:56 the most awkward laugh ever.
2:00 This ain't no place for no hero
14:23 That... wasn't supposed to happen, was it?
9:05 Ooohhhhhh...
R.I.P. Telltale Ganes
You know the timestamp was right at when the quote ended
10:33 had me laughing my butt off.
i think he's taking it well don't you?
God I wish Bigby Wolf was one of the players. I feel like he’d fit right in.
I love the jazz interpretation of Short Change Hero in the background.
10:33 Is this what Claptrap does in his vines? lol
12:28 Hnnnnnnng that was such a tender 'Sure, Sam'
Claptrap and ash playing poker never thought I’d see that today
I always like when Brock goes "Wooo, nice" on the All In bets.
1:56 when the natural instinct to slouch takes over
This game is nice. Characters from different games interacting with one another.

Logan The Wolf Rabbit Brock: I'm all fuckin in.
Luck of the draw was just not with Brock on that hand.
Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!

Me: ... Don't scramble your circuits little buddy.
Note to self: Do NOT play poker with Brock F**king Sampson.
1:59 You ok there ash? I think the dog just died but wth is going on with you?
9:02 Brock Would Be Great In The Simpsons Tv Show
P.S:The Simpsons Predict The Future, Brock Predicted Telltales Shutdown Due To Bankruptcy.
9:00 if your wondering what happened to tale tale
IT TOOK ME 6 YEARS TO REALIZE THE BACKGROUND MUSIC IS AIN'T NO PLACE FOR NO HERO.
10:06 woooooow. again so "lucky"
The cast of poker night 3 was made:
Freddy fazbear or springtrap
Jonesy or doom guy
Springman or min min
Sans or scout
Like if you agree with my pics
Comment on who you think the cast would’ve been
I think Bender will be at the next kill the humans meeting
What about Starscream?
+Marcus Walker is he the idiot that never dies?
+Noah Henderson I guess so.
Marcus Walker then no hes to much of a idiot to actually kill all humans
+Noah Henderson He could just squish them with his foot!
Man hope more steam keys become available some day I’d love to be able to play this game. I remember one of ky friends use to own it but he moved to California.
Nobody:
Glados: a m p l e p o s t e r I o r
Thanks for posting these! They're nice to listen to in the background while doing otherwise boring things.
LIke coronavirus quarantine!
256 cards would make a perfect square
It physically pains me whenever someone folds when they can check
The borderlands 2 theme song is in the background
07:34 To me, that just sounds like Brock wants to get out of telling that story.
I thought I knew this game super well. I'd never heard the trading card conversation before. Colour me surprised.
4:09 Brock predicting the future.
Me: whats going to be claptraps bounty? Eridium?
0:18
Me: oh
Is that 'This aint no place for no hero' Jazz? Nice.
I can't see Dean liking those cards but Hank, that I can see
I just realized the background music is a jazz version of Short Change Hero.
lol why did u call with the K and 7 at the beginning. You went all in on a draw, lol. Got lucky ^^
The background music is Short Change Hero from the beginning of Borderlands 2
Bruh the music is a jazz rendition of short change hero. How did it took me this long to notice
I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed this but they're playing ain't no rest for the wicked as the background music
Jazz rendition of short change hero...perfect
I doubt it, but... Professor Layton, and The Poker Night at the Inventory.
Christopher Parry I so would watch that
14:25 What just happened?
Son of a bitch
My favorite conversation in the game is at 7:11. Brilliant just brilliant
This game seems so bizzare, I'm oddly entertained
Honestly who wouldn't want to grab a beer with these guys?
I distinctly remember watching watching this prize tournament on TH-cam and GlaDoS commenting that this trophy looked familiar. Anyone else remember that?
Just noticed a glitch starting at 7:40, Sam goes all in after Brock and dumps in his 15,200 chips, but it says he still has 8,900 chips left, which allowed him to stay in despite loosing
Am I the only one that thinks that Brock sounds a lot like Joe Swanson from Family Guy?
Agony Apocalypticus Same voice actor, he also voices Vasquez in Tales from the Borderlands.
i wish both games were officially on steam again
When Brock Samson invites you out to Ray Gun Russia. Roulette... Well you shouldn't go but you'll probably go anyway lol
3:11 that was some bullshit main character luck
I noticed a distorted short change hero in the background, nice touch
"Welcome to the party kid"
Dude, that KID, straight up solo'd the whole crew and you're the last unlucky victim and THAT'S what you're gonna say?
Wait! I Forgot The First Tournement Guider.... GLaDOS - Portal Series
-_- such shame
I dig the borderlands song in the background
Reggie: To claim the bounty, all you have to do is win the tournament.
Me: ... Say 'goodbye' to your trophy Claptrap, I'm not holding back.
Claptrap: $#!+!!!!!
Nice jazzy " short change hero" in the backround
