@@csmarsh1957 Thank for sharing your memories with us. I think that oyster dressing is an old tradition recipe. I don’t hear of many people making it these days. My Mother has passed away also she was 89 years old. I miss talking with her. Thank you for watching our video.
Wow both of your dishes looked fantastic….fall comfort food…i really loved those corn fritters…they looked really good and the soup looked good too…i think i could fill up on the soup and corn fritters alone…what a great meal❤❤
@@heatherfisher794 Everything was delicious here at The Old Mill Restaurant on this day. We thank you for watching our video and sharing a comment with us.
Yummy! Can't wait for Thanksgiving. I'd need more cranberry sauce, as well. My Grandparents made oyster dressing when I was little. They quit making it when we found out they put them in there. We weren't seafood fans. Tasted fine without them. Miss their Thanksgiving dinners so much! Grampa was a gravy master!
The Old Mill is a classic in Pigeon Forge. We love getting a window seat. The fritters are David's favorite. Both of the meals looked delicious. Thanks for sharing. I know that The Old Mill serves Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. I'm not sure if it's buffet/family style/or a plate lunch.
@@vafunseekers We are not sure about how they serve dinner on Thanksgiving but I am sure it will be delicious. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with us.
The food looks great, but almost everything served in many restaurants are not homemade, food comes in already prepared and it’s heated. Employees don’t have the time, they have too much prep to do! Thanks for the upload!
Your food looked so delicious! Thank you for sharing:)

My Mom used to make oyster dressing. It took me awhile to get used to it but I ended up loving it. RIP Mom !!

The Old Mill knows how to cook…. I think the word you were looking for Steve was maybe funnel cake !
Yes that is the word I was looking for.
Thank you.

Dressing, not stuffing
@@pjavent Yes it is Dressing. The Stove Top Stuffing was in our heads. We have used what the box calls stuffing too much.
