Oh my goodness 😲😲😲 I know the both of you left the restaurant with full tummies with that breakfast. The cinnamon roll looks delicious without the icing for me. That could be split for several people. My favorite choices would be Belgium waffle, pancakes, two eggs over easy & an omelette 😋😋😋😋 They do offer a variety for everyone!! Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

John and Bobbie, The frosting atop that cinnamon roll was probably an “Ermine Frosting, as it was fluffy and not overly sweet. My Mother used to make it. It’s one of the few hand-written recipes I still have of hers. Here’s her recipe which she called “Whipped Topping” and she used it along with crushed pineapple to spread between layers of yellow cake. I’m writing a cookbook, and this recipe is in it. 5 Tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 cup milk 1 cup softened butter (1/2 pound) 1 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla Stir flour and milk over medium heat until thickened. Set aside to completely cool. With a mixer cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat cooled cooled milk mixture into the butter, sugar, and vanilla mixture at high speed until light. It should resemble whipped cream. Mixture may appear to be breaking, but just keep whipping it, and it will eventually incorporate.
Everything looked delicious. I definitely would have gone for the Grits Casserole. I love cheesy grits. The only part I eat of the cinnamon roll is the center. That looked so yummy. We’re not in the area much, but this may be on our breakfast list next trip. Thanks for sharing 😊

Glad you had a good experience there. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. We went there quite a while back and the food was not good and it was cold. And my husband didn't hardly eat his food and that's unusual because I usually don't say anything if I think the food isn't good and just wait for his response and he rarely ever says anything is not good. We were there last month staying at the five oaks inn right there beside it so we ain't there because we really needed to get on the road that Friday morning because the hurricane remnants were coming through. We got there when they opened. The coffee was terrible. We did say something about that and the guy was some from a different area and said that the other coffee was usually made at about 5:00 a.m. our food was almost inedible. We didn't eat much of it at all. We needed to get on the road so we just left. If my husband leaves food on his plate I know it's extraordinarily bad. we have friends who live in the area down there and they have said the same thing. They have said that it was awful when they have gone in there. I was really surprised to hear that they are the same ones that own Crockett's because we've eaten at Crockett's and the food was good and warm and we had no complaints

Nice video, more normal folks eating normal food. That cinnamon bun is huge, enough for four! Not big on a lot of sugar for breakfast. Bobby's breakfast looks great, something I could see ordering. I like the idea of the gravy to dip your bread in. The pulled pork on the eggs would be a pass for me but still looked good. Nice video.
That cinnamon roll looks absolutely gorgeous and huge. I’ll bet they made the icing with cream rather than milk. It makes it fluffier when they use cream. You know you use cream to actually make whipped cream and I think that’s what they do is cream it and then add them confectioner sugar. Most places they just pour a little bit of milk and a confectioner sugar and drizzle it on top and that’s the difference it’s not whipped. Anyway it looked wonderful!

That cinnamon roll looks absolutely gorgeous and huge. I’ll bet they made the icing with cream rather than milk. It makes it fluffier when they use cream. You know you use cream to actually make whipped cream and I think that’s what they do is cream it and then add them confectioner sugar. Most places they just pour a little bit of milk and a confectioner sugar and drizzle it on top and that’s the difference it’s not whipped. Anyway it looked wonderful!

I tried it a couple years ago. I didn't like the huge biscuits it reminded me more of roll. Everything else I tried was good but I just couldn't get past the biscuit. lol Enjoy all your videos.
