You're very lucky to have one in such amazing shape. I haven't seen one on the street since this came out and or one for sale. They just all left - disappeared. These are super cool and a super blast to drive. Great on gas too. Take care of it. Thanks a bunch for NOT adding stupid music.
My dad had one of these in silver. I was always fascinated by the wood steering wheel and diagonal gear shift. That little 4-banger screamed but man it was like it needed to go into the shop after every time out. He totaled it like he did most of his cars back then, but man was it a looker. Like Audrey Hepburn.

I have the 105.21, it has the original hellebore wheel and stock (heavier) rims but the ones I see look good. The shift stick is different but so is my interior color so, who knows. My rear has the logo 2000, the snakes and nothing else but fuel injection models had probably one more plate. I am told continental sport contact tyres are very good for that model. It is the most ALIVE car I have ever driven, beware on wet or bumpy roads will be quite traitorous. The bialbero alfa 50s-80s is the Caruso of engine noises. Hear one live if you can.

Now it sits in my nice dry garage, here in southern England. Been EXPENSIVELY restored. Good news: Replacement panels are made in Germany, so they don't rust. But would I leave it in the rain overnight? Feck NO! You had 180 BHP? Wow!

I bought one new in 1972 in red. I waited 4 months for delivery. I loved the car great sound and performance. I vividly remember driving in the rain with my window open to dislodge the wipers because they would stick together in the middle as the synchro was off.
A great car back then in its class.I used to own a silver Gt2000 with cream leather interior and Campagnolo alloy wheels (no AC).My first sport car.Just want to point out that Solex carbs performance was quite disappointing and I remember the Alfa Romeo service guy telling me to switch to Weber or Dell'Orto so as to have the engine work to the utmost.
America did have a great little sports car (Saturn Redline Roadster) but very short lived. A very nice car too. Also outstanding on gas mileage. Wish I had mine back. Very comfortable to drive too.
My father has still in his garage the 1969 Giulia Super sedan 1600 “ Biscione “ ( green big snake emblem by the rears doors ). The Italian version is more powerful of the U.S. one because there was no catalytic converter installed .
That is a beautiful sound. You are lucky that you don't have damp and salt corrosion at a level we have here in the UK. Most of these bautiful cars were just a rust bucket after 10 or 12 years, as were Lancias.

This coupe was Alfa Romeo's big mistake in the American market. The driver seating arrangement was ideal for tall drivers. The heel & toe pedal arrangement was ideal for downshifting. The engine compartment was large enough for a chain driven DOHC V6 (power band between 4,500 - 7,800). The live rear axle could've been replaced with Alfa's De Dion rear suspension. A really great Italian 👍 lady, my heart❤️forever! It is reported that some Autodelta F1 drivers practiced with this small coupe.
Was it not possible to remove the bulky US spec ugly fugly side reflexes before the paint job? The gear boot is a wonderful detail too. Lovely, complimenti!
i’m no expert but you don’t put the car in first gear while it is still moving forward - even if it’s moving very slowly. The beauty needs gentle touch, it’s not a dodge. and i don’t mean it in a good way.

Completamente scarburata, minimo motore alto. Catena di distribuzione rumorosa: in pratica forse è meglio portarla da un meccanico alfa Romeo velocemente
The exterior is pure perfection however all alpha Romeos of that era suffer from unattractive and unimaginative interior design. They could have done anything given the poor safety and driver comfort demands of the times but they instead went with a bland, Depression Era mindset.
The materials used are plain but my only problem with the interior is the headrests, which look not so nice when extended and do not extend high enough (which is bad). I like the rather modern look of the seats, their comfort. The dash tends to break after some years exposed to the sun, but looks nice in design recalling the 4 leaf clover.
The 1969 1750Gtv had the best interior, lovely dash with the minor gauges down in the middle binnacled towards the driver so only rev counter and Speedo interrupted the drivers eyeline. And turn the radio off so you can hear the Weber's doing their job.
It’s an ITALIAN car from the 1960s for God’s sakes !!! What would you expect , some ugly- looking “ fake wood “ finishing like in the case of those super expensive class-less American cars ( Cadillac , Lincoln, Chrysler , etc ) of the same AND later eras ??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Some Japanese engines are quite good but when was the last time anyone said a Toyota sounded like a Maserati ,Alfa, Aston Martin , Jaguar etc.Yes ,they may be cheap and reliable, but so is my 40 year old Toshiba microwave. Some machinery is made to do a dull job . My Triumph and my Ducati are made to stir your soul. They are not without their 40 year-old faults but to ride them as the makers intended on an empty country road is superb. Some people will never understand

Cars that were not for everyone , cars that separated the “ boys” from the men right from the ignition moment !

Love these. I had a tii and my housemate the mechanic rebuilt those and Alfa engines so I'm quite familiar with both. Great great example wow.
