What is the difference between the two models I keep seeing of the Nubia Alpha?

The ONLY things I like about this thing is the form factor and it's a conversation piece. Samsung could work wonders with this tech.

Like the apple product placement apple watch 4 can have a sim , only Samsung has had that option since watch 2 and it was essentially a phone watch as it could do calls and text but also surf the net.

Notwithstanding my somewhat sedentary lifestyle at the moment, I can guarantee that I would trash the screen in three weeks or so. It will never take off.

Is the strap plastic? Water resistance? Thanks.
Strap is metal, and it has an IP65 rating - so basically it'll survive some rain and maybe the odd shower, but you wouldn't want to put it underwater - Dom

That costs less than it costs to make the product, it seem selfish to criticize a product for not pandering to poor people. Also, $400 is not that much.

Not biased, I just wasn't that impressed! After using it for a week for my proper review I actually got a bit more fond of it, but I basically stand by what I said here: it's a really cool concept, but the execution is a bit lacking. Can't wait to see the Alpha 2 or whatever it ends up being next though - Dom

Samsung looking at this....Samsung had this it was the first gear s....it was awesome 👌 the charger sucked so hard that everybody sold it tho...it brakes, it was 35 euro and the cheap ones from 3 euro brake even faster....so.....still this one is 85 on ali express and the only 1 who ever get the future watch feeling , gear fit 1 and 2 , the amazefit gear fit (250 euro) and this 1 are really the only future like gears s watches you can buy. I'm gonna maybe rethink my life, the coolness for 85 euro...I dont know if I want this as a daily driver Tho....especially since if it's so cool every otherwqtch is less cool. But sometimes being so cool is to mutch in current society or if you end up working on a beach for some reason....I mean you need to be able to replace it if you come from 3021 even in 2021, still for 85 it's defetly the coolest watch a human can buy on current earth 😂

Take a look at the Flake 4.0 smartwatch. It looks exactly like this and retails for $44 (US).
