As a Packer fan , he brought us back to being relevant . Every game he played in was exciting , both good and bad . I realize Favre was human , from his pain killer addiction to his off the field exploits , but between the hashmarks , he was ‘ da Man ‘ . Footballs answer to Pete Rose .
As a Packer fan I think he was the greatest coach in the history of the league. He thought Brett Favre was a joke and made the Packers relevant for a very long time. Thank you, Jerry.
Glanville was an unusual coach. I don’t remember any real proof of him paying bounties for players. His actions though make the accusations believable. Glanville had good reason to want Favre out. Favre also got lucky and it’s possible Glanville shipped him out for his on good. Favre liked the nightlife in Atlanta which is fine except on Sunday mornings of game days. It was clear Glanville wasn’t ready to start him so I guess Favre figured it didn’t matter. It did matter though when he could be seen at 3am on game day.
@@grt49er Never knew about the nightlife problem. Interesting. Chuck Noll had a problem with dirty hits when Glanville coached the Oilers and confronted him after a game.
Favre has also shown a lot of leadership after he retired. No one can get politicians to divert welfare funds to build volleyball stadiums like he can.
@packersmockdraftsimul PJator4781 ... There wasn't much no huddle, pistol formations, no play call into the helmet, and most importantly, the rules of today which drastically favor the offense.
I just enjoyed watching #4 play. He was never out of a game and he made football fun for me as a fan. I hope the welfare scandal is overblown and you didn't know where the money came from. Thanks for the memories #4!
@@ChrisP-in8qr Favre for sure. I guess that makes him always right, is that your point? Fame does not equal correct. Look at Aaron Rodgers. Great player. Complete ass of a person. Yes, Chris, I know he is more famous and rich than I am.
@jonathanstein5049 why don't you give the poor your money then? Since you have a bleeding heart for it. Matter of fact, you should go downtown and give them the keys to your car

There’s nothing humane about stealing from your community

The legend is born
I was 15 when Favre came in after Majik went down.
Bucket list:TN boy here but I'd love to meet this man. By the way he's Country Strong. That's a power beyond belief to those that oppose.
Gerry Glanville was a big ego, despicable human being who encouraged some of his players to do dirty hits.

Is this a recent interview? He seems like he’s doing fine lol.
what year was this interview?
I hated Favre in Green Bay but I liked him in Minnesota.
And... I have his Minnesota jersey. We all respected the dude.
I wish he won with Minny that one year.
A bunch of haters for a guy who gave everything he had every week to be his best.
When was this interview?
Favre has also shown a lot of leadership after he retired. No one can get politicians to divert welfare funds to build volleyball stadiums like he can.
@The8BitAvatar Nah leave him be. He thinks he's clever writing the same comment on every other video with Brett Favre in it too
John, this is the only video I have watched of Brett Favre in several years so lay off the drugs because you are hallucinating again.
Got that right....Welfare for the Rich, Miss. style.
@madhavyu That would make sense why you don't know anything about it then
@@JohnSmith-tk7nt Apparently you know even less. 🤡
No new players to take their place Joe. Pro sports have been captured
Brett Farve:
"I am Iron Man."
Winston known for crab legs. This guy is known for food stamps 😂😂😂
As a Bears fan I have nothing but
It is crazy how much he did to damage his legacy after retirement.
Did he though?
Fuck no that's Brett fcking Favre. Goat before Brady. Lol at damage legacy over food stamp fraud. That shit ain't nothing
You probably will never see another QB like Favre. Not many coaches will tolerate the turnovers today
The Offenses are quite a bit more efficient today also
Higher percentage passes being set up too
Not many Teams did screens at that time

@@packersmockdraftsimulator4781As I remember it, Holmgren called a lot of screens and had a "if you don't like it, stop it" attitude.

to steal a line from Matt LaFleur - Brett was a DUDE.
Joe Buck is so annoying. I can not stand him. Joe Bucks dad was great. But Joe is Horrible
Not a bad arm either!
Mississippi I’m not gonna play you
Please stop. All he did in Atlanta was get drunk and didn't show up for practice. And when he did, he was usually hungover.
he won a super bowl, so yeah good QB but for every moment of genius there was an equal and opposite moment of stupidity
Pay the US Taxpayer back the money you stole from the needy! What trash!
He didn't.
bet you believe santa is real too huh
The first thing Favre had to prove was that he took being a pro seriously. I don't blame Glanville at all. He was trying to get Favre's attention.
Or everything Brett said is true. Who's remembered more again?
