The way Brett reacted when they scored that touchdown to put them up....priceless. You'd think he just won the Super Bowl. The crowd absolutely EXPLODED and a legend was born :)

I was there at Lambeau on that glorious afternoon... as a Packer fan it was like wandering lost in the forest for all those years and then seeing a bright burst of daylight in the near distance -- I cannot truly put the emotions of that day into words, it was absolutely electrifying

I wasn’t born until the next year but going back and seeing the footage I could feel how emotional and groundbreaking this game was to the pack. Seeing Favre later get the Super Bowl win is a pinnacle in my childhood.

Say no more my friend…we get it!! What a great moment!!! The memory must be just a glorious feeling of sweet joy and exuberance and communal pride we shared and share being Packers fans!!! I love watching this game from time to time. It is interesting the despair and sadness felt for our guy Majic, but then to witness the backup go balls out and crush it like Favre….amazing!!!

We were all there . Even if we were watching at home. That day Packers nation was reborn and even away we all found ourselves again and for many of us our hearts have never left Lambeau field ever since. I was eating dinner with my parents at my childhood home but when Brett hit Taylor there you could smell the spilled beer and the hotdogs right there in my parents kitchen as most of the Packers fans did as well at that time. This was our first breath of winning again . in 89' we almost believed . In 92' We all believed again and it was glorious . Thanks for being there though . I bet it was the best moment to be a fan in stadium since the 1960s. Watching the Packers reborn in live action would have been spiritual . GO PACKERS !

  • @jesusoftheapes

Thanks for this. I remember that game like it was yesterday . I remember feeling the loss of Don was a common thing at that point but watched him getting hurt destroy this team the year previous and it seemed to have the same feeling in the stadium that day. Brett was not good most of the game. He fumbled more than anyone ever in a game that day. He looked completely lost right up and until he did not. Suddenly the pass rush he was being destroyed by was getting rolled out of and he was throwing passes we had not seen in Green Bay EVER. The arm was shown on a few laser throws and we started to see it . Then the last 1 minute we saw who Brett was and we also saw that the bad times were over all in one game. WE had something worth watching for the first times in our lives. The Packers had a QB who could change things now. I was young but I remember it all and it is this moment that made me who I am . I am in love with football ever since . Brett was behind all of my greatest football moments then Aaron came and added to my list on another level still . Now we have Jordan and after 2023 the feeling is just like it was when Brett took it over for this franchise. IT ALL STARTED HERE ! 1992 was when the modern Packers were birthed into the world and we have won more games than any franchise ever since this moment.

Favre was a legend in his first game. Best part is he was also the holder for the PAT and field goal attempts, and he took his hand entirely off the ball on that last PAT. Favre was a crazy gunslinger but damn was he good.

@@wce05308 Welcome to the TITLETOWN fold! We are TITLETOWN because we own 13 NFL Championship titles, more than any other team in the NFL. I hope you have seen the Ice Bowl, Packers playing on solid ice at 16F below zero, and winning that game, insane. I lived in northern Wisconsin for 65 years, and know what a week of minus 42F is like, with one morning at -54F. Minus 20 not all that unusual, and is ok, but after that it can be dangerous, sometimes deadly. I'm thinking that is well over a 100 degree difference than what you are accustomed to. Many places here have an annual Polar Bear Plunge, when the temp is about zero, we cut a hole in the ice of out 10,000+ lakes and jump in wearing nothing but a swimsuit. We call it fun. Let me know if you'd like to try some our winter fun sometime. Skiing on Silver Mine Hill is fun too. You've chosen the best!

    An interception for a TD

Yes, his only completion was to himself
The Falcons fleeced the Packers with that trade
