@@Ratdaddy2023 Hi Tim, hope you're keeping well buddy. But yeah those were really cool and happy to find them, I definitely think we'll be seeing a lot more of this stuff coming out in the next few years, be great to see them all return for sure 😊
@@BigSkyModelWorkshop Thanks Joe, glad you enjoyed it and that early Marlin is definitely a rare one. Think it's the only one I've seen over here in the UK and will be great to use every part from that box to build a couple of really nice kits one day. Hope you're keeping well and keep up the great work with your channel buddy 🙂
Thanks for sharing this John! I think I have never seen monogram kits like those you have there. Love the Jo-han Desoto adventurer, can't wait to see how you come up with it if you build it. Thank you again and take care buddy 😎👍🏻
@@askoseppanen3779 Thanks Asko, I don't think you really see them become available too much anymore, I'd expect Atlantis will change all that as I can see things like these and others like the Baja beast coming out in the next few years. The Desoto is definitely a lovely kit, great trim detail on those. Many thanks again buddy and hopefully get another video out soon 🙂
@@andyr5579Hi Andy, it's definitely a hard one to find in it's early form. They build into beautiful models too, I'm definitely going to start cracking into this old stuff that I'm keeping and hopefully get them done one day 🙂 many thanks again mate

@@theintake8961 Thanks Mike, really was happy to get a couple of those old TD kits after all these years. @KitbashedKustoms thanks Jimmi, it's definitely one you don't see very often... Love the custom bits in that one for sure. Thanks again buddy and hope you're keeping well 🙂
Another really great video John!! Got to love those Johan flat boxes. That’s a great Marlin body that you can use to build a couple up if you wanted. Very cool. Love the Tom Daniel stuff Too. That old monogram stuff was also very cool too. I’ve never built any boats myself, but I’m entirely of your opinion. Those old boats are awesome and I’d definitely build up one of those. Thanks for always sharing some great stuff with us. I’ll look forward to seeing the thunderbirds , my friend. Speak soon!
@@kyledehartsscaleworks Hi Kyle, hope you're having a good week mate. There was some really nice stuff in that video, really happy to those monogram kits again after so long and think you're right, with all the extra parts you could probably make two nice models from that marlin 🙂 definitely recommend the boats for something different, I'm sure you'll get them for about 5-10 dollars over there as not many will stray away from automotive so probably not overly popular. I've heard they can be a bit fiddly but nothing we couldn't overcome I'm sure 😊 Many thanks again buddy and definitely speak soon 🙂
@ you’re very welcome!! You’re 100% right about the boats. I’ve seen them here for very cheap. Just not right in front of me when I was in the mood to grab one. No doubt I will one day just to add some variety. Hope to see you build one of those marlins sometime. Weird looking car but a very cool kit. Just love those Johans.
I’ve never really taken much notice of the Poison Pinto but that’s accumulated a pretty cool looking kit. For some reason I’m picturing what it would look like as a phantom sedan with a short boot added on. Might have a front wheel for it somewhere if you get stuck finding yours.
@@CycolacFan Thanks Mike, I think they've definitely aged well and do like that idea of a short boot, would make a cool looking model.
