    John awesome video as always brother and please don't sell off to many, because they are getting so hard to come by and to get back as well if you ever decide that you want them again 😢! I love seeing you restore or customize these vintage kits and there's not that many people doing it anymore and I so look forward to watching you do that on your videos 😀 and hopefully one day I'll get you over here to the US ❤😊

      @J.B.Scale.Creations  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thescalemodelcarguychannel8681 Don't worry Shawn, whatever I don't sell before Christmas will be staying and holding on to far too many already, couldn't face putting any of my favourites on like the imperials/Lincoln's (plus many others 😂) etc and will still end up keeping some really nice old stuff. Just need to cull a lot and make it more manageable to enjoy what I have. I've actually grown back into monogram 80s stuff like the pro-stocks and pro-streets of that era, even those 3in1 kits like the camaros and Firebirds for some reason, guess it's just a box art thing that reminds you of when things were simpler (terrible as some of those were) and things like that seem rarer than the vintage stuff us old fuddy duddys like haha 😂.
      I really want to get back to the routes of the channel in restoring some of the older stuff, but selling the ones I'll never do now is just a part of that process. I think mixing work with pleasure over the last couple of years has been a big factor so I'll be just doing a 9-5 next year and get back to enjoying what we love doing best, the problem is I've already added another 50 projects to the list just sorting through it all 😂. Good to be back anyways and thanks again for all your support ❤️

    Good to hear from you John!! No worries about the absence. Gets us all from time to time. We’ll be here whenever you drop in. I love it when you show off these old kits and bodies. Very cool stuff. But I’d also love to see you building more. You do outstanding work. I love wagons and hardtops. And That hearse is a neat start. Very unique. The Invictas are awesome!! I’ve never had one of those flat boxes but they’re super neat. I can see where they’d be hard to store. I just love Buicks too, especially older ones like the early rivieras and those Invictas. You always show off the best stuff. And the best box arts. It’s always enjoyable to hear your plans on building them too. Going to have to try to find a Skylark rebuilder. Didn’t know the modified stocker had some of the stock stuff still in it, although that does make complete sense. What a great way to fix up a rebuilder. Great video, my friend. Thanks for sharing. On to the next one!!

      @@kyledehartsscaleworks Hi Kyle, really glad you enjoyed this one too. I think the first Skylark and Invicta I had were direct from the states when I was buying in collections of builders of eBay many moons ago now it seems. I must admit I had to stop looking at eBay U.S because it got so expensive shipping over here in the end that it would double the cost of any auction end prices, sometimes triple. I am always a bit envious of seeing videos of swap meets as I see so many builders and kits I'd love to get hold of, would definitely be fun to experience that one of these days but I know I would put myself into serious debt haha if I did 😂 I think the hearse will be a great build too, actually looking forward to that though when that will be who knows, it's definitely something I'm planning on getting back to and really appreciate your kind words on what I've done in the past. P.s didn't really appreciate that other guy commenting on people's comments in that gto video and couldn't bite my lip so kind of gave my honest opinion on that direct to his message... I think it was always going to attract something like that though so wasn't unexpected. Anyways shop card was in the post today and definitely have a few ideas for what I could maybe send you in the new year too....🙂 Speak soon anyways Kyle and take care in the meantime.

      @ I’ve been scouring the interwebs for Buicks since last watched this video John!! And Airfix kits. But with little success so far. I need round 2 to re-release all this stuff so I can afford most of it. 🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♂️. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled though. Always a reasonable one that will turn up from time to time. As for that other guy on the GTO video. I had to bite my tongue. Not my channel, wanted to stay civil. It was clear we wouldn’t be agreeing. I had a scroll through and noticed he was replying to others as well. Definitely strikes me as one of the chaps who were complaining about the kit on Facebook every 5 minutes. Ah well, there’s always at least one. Thanks again for another great response and I’ll talk to you soon

    Looking at the moving images of the ‘60 Olds wagon I think you might be right about that being the Monogram Bad Actor roof, good thinking. Steve’s a clever sod isn’t he? 😂😂 love that hearse too, I think that’s definitely saveable. Lots were done in Ireland from ex Embassy cars with RHD interiors. A company called Duffy did loads.
