I love Management & Strategic Consultant , only Two reasons
1. Problem Solveing
2. Strategic Plan
I can't believe we were classmates in st Stephen's in 2010 in bsc. But i dropped out in 2 months due to mental health issues .
I never revived.
Thanks so much. I subscribed. Took notes as well. Have thought myself about consulting of some sort. I have an extensive background in many fields.
Hi @Shatakshi Sharma, thanks a lot for sharing your experience and knowledge, It's always great and informative to watch your videos.
Thank you so much mam for the very informative video….am currently pursuing MBA in Business Analytics and aspiring to join MBB firm after my graduation. Your videos motivate and give me more info into the industry.
What are the objective skills needed to join MBB?
@@perseusvlasov367from which university are you doing MBA in business analyst
Hi Shatakshi,
Can you please make a video on options for work from home after MBA. Many women like me want to work with these firms but are mostly hung up due to other responsibilities.
So many times we think that MBA is not worth it.
Hi shatakshi
Firstly kudos for making such great and informative videos.
Also, I was curious why did you quit BCG!
Does it eventually get too stressful to bear!
Very informative Shatakshi
Make a guide on getting placed in BCG after IIT UG degree. What would make my recruitment process smooth and how to make myself a good candidate for them 🧡
+1
Management Consultants also utilize their chai breaks effectively..😅
shatakshi's english accent has pure indian-ness to it.
Why change it ? It is as it should be. Language should be clear and concise to understand. No point sounding as someone who you are not.
The accent is fine but her grammar is lacking.
@@anantgupta9658 baniya brothers too have the same accent..
Bro this video is damnn good but my mind got funny when i heard underwear 😂instead of endeavour😂😂😂
There is consulting of data analytics in MBB like with McKinsey we have quantum black. How are things thier can you make video on that???
Thankyou mam
Can you please tell how much travel is there in management consulting after COVID scenario, like now there is less travel or there is same situation as it was before covid
It's all about presentation skills.
There are a thousand of other jobs in India that are if not more then equally stressful, with longer working and also pay a penury of a salary. Its better to study hard, work hard and be financially strong. Kudos to Shatakshi for being a good role model for us!
It did!
So u r just explaining me a dream job
hey di.. i am going to pursue msc management from uk and wanted to go for management consultant.. as i am a fresher... can you guide in brief what should i do to ace that position..

I am 38 years old 11 years of exp in supply chain
Any possibility if i can try for Management Consulting
It's my dream to work for management consultancy but after 19 years of experience no luck
What stream did you opted in 11th grade
How did you predict? 😢
70 hours a week is the norm in most industries.
you probably missed the part where she said it's EXCLUDING travel. And as an experienced consultant, i can assure you that travel constitutes a significant portion of your everyday work duration.
shatakshi can you makes videos on boutique firms also, not only the top of the pyramid.
Sure, will consider
Do management consultants in india from mbb have to travel abroad as well?
Every consultant actually
Ever directly fired someone else before?
06:26-06:32 ok funny 😂
Pronunciation
How much you earn?
To get into consultancy ..do students need to have a bent towards business from the very beginning or ...they will learn with time ?
they learn with time.
@@Shatakshi.Sharma OK sister🙂
Mam great explanation.
Can I join ISB with open university graduate and my work exe during graduation will count or not please answer.
No
Can you elaborate on sleep! I can work day and night but cannot afford to lose my 7-8 hrs sleep.
That's why most of leave consulting less then 5 years
Man people stay for 5 years without proper sleep! Commendable indeed
Less than five ? Abhi toh one ho gaya
Is it almost kind of a sales job? Like basically to produce more revenues for company by hook or crook
Lol...yeah kind of..but not all...sometimes..
Is consulting a combination of cutting edge technologies & business expertise or something else ?
It's very vague lol
I started watching this as somebody who currently works at mck. I stopped after the very first point was my biggest disappointment about mck. You do not get to work with smart people. Most people are average at best. The projects you work on are not typically solving problems but trying to make some executive look good. The work is easy and boring, there's just a lot of it
Mam can we get roles of management consulting in sibm Pune ?as u didn’t got admission in iim abc
Yes
This Video's thumbnail did not age well😅😂
Doing to many things or going though different industry is not good . why is pressure because many management consultants are giving generic solution not able to implement practically or the client understand its not good enough. many of the management consultant's lack in depth domain knowledge but they float around giving generic solutions and market trends, domain experts are much better solution and problem solvers than Management consultants.
Hey, Shatakshi
I have one genuine question.
Average salary of a management consultant is 12 LPA, is it really a good deal?
Starting mei 12-18 lakh hoti hai
Depending on mba se phele job kari ho, extra skills like analytics, cat or gmat business school
It's you get carried away after listening to software engineering jobs but believe me the in hand you get in software engineering (FAANG) is same you get in Consulting. And after that if you are good enough and become a partner than you can easily make 2-4 crores in Indian or even more than that which no software developer or tech person can get in India. And yeah the brand name of MBB and Exit opportunities (PE/VC) is next level.
So it's a very good deal
Thats the salary for analyst role i.e., pre MBA ( right after your undergrad ). After MBA or after climbing the corporate ladder you earn around 24+ .
@@amrahs6999 No he is right, in PWC, Delloitte, Big 4 actually avg is 12-16 fixed
Oh my Ghwad
