- Gran Turismo 7 camera view settings fix. The chase view camera is too stiff in GT7 and does not look natural. Apply these settings for a more natural chase camera.
CAMERA SETTINGS:
Chase View Camera Sensitivity: 1
Chase View Rotation Axis Offset: 0

the original settings are the worst part of the game.
Yeah it's very annoying idk how they approved those settings to be in every gt7 game
I think those default camera settings are a large part of what made me not even like GT games after GT 5 came out. It felt less like I was driving a real car and more like I was driving a remote controlled toy. You got a new sub from this video.
This camera has been the default since GT4.

@@hitcism1043 Google "Gran Turismo Nordschleife Comparison - GT4/GT5/GT6/GT7 - Sauber C 9". This shows GT4, 5, 6 & 7's default camera. GT4 DID NOT have this default cam.
I know because I still have the GT4 on PS 2 and played it last week. On default settings it's a lot closer than GT 7, 6 and 5. Even Sport.
GT got ruined when it went to PS3, but mainly because of that default camera.
GT4's default camera is more similar to Forza or basically any other racer.

Thanks! This was one thing that really bugged me about GT7, but I wasn't sure how to fix it because I couldn't exactly describe the problem!
Also checkout the newer cockpit view camera. It does a FANTASTIC job of relating the car handling to you. Genuinely makes me better at playing the game and you really feel the car underneath you. Hard to really say, you just need to try it. Not at my PlayStation just now but I think it’s the Second option. I was always a “bumper cam” player, but the cockpit mode is now my favourite in most cars because of that new camera mode.

It's still nowhere near as good as Forza's camera, but it still makes it playable. Crazy how a simple camera angle can make a car feel slower

Wow didn’t even know you could change this. This was my problem with older gran turismo games, the camera is way to damn stiff it makes it harder going through turns

Thanks for this. Setting camera sensitivity to 1 and rotation axis offset to 3 instead of 0 *feels* better to me for some reason, and I’m coming from Forza Motorsport 🤔
After a year of trying both, I find much much easier to control the car with the default chase cam so I went back to it. I only use the more freestyle one for the looks. I wish I could have both at the same time for the 2 different chase cameras

I always assumed this was the normal view…GT Sport was my first racing game; lost a ton of time in military from games. When I tried Project Cars 2, and AC I couldn’t beat the camera angle so quit. I’ve come around over time, but I still prefer that classic locked in view.

This is amazing! I never bought the game because of how rigid the 3rd person view was. Forza is so much better for this and so its good to know you can get the Forza look without having to buy an XBOX haha

@@SuperCarGuy2007 I meant that gt7 still pans when the car goes sideways on the slope, no matter what setiings you configured, unlike sport when the camera doesnt pan when you drive on a sloped turn.

Problem with chase cam set to "near" for me is when I use a gr4 car it blocks too much of the road
How is that theres a movie effect during race on your end? mine is just focused on the race 😢

Gt sport also has bad chase camera but with similar settings is better than GT7.
yes, it is distressing to see PD go back whereas GT sport camera settings was requested by the community and was roughly fine

GT Sport Chase Cam Settings > GT7 Chase Cam Settings.
Hope they can put it back in. It doesn’t make sense we can rotate the camera but can’t have 0 Cam Sensitivity 🤷♂️

Still look horrible, but i guess is better than nothing, i don't get how the developers thought that a stiff camera would be great for racing, it just makes the game look like a psp game mechanic, also one cannot appreciate all the details in the graphics with such a bad implemented camera

Can't see any difference if i set "Chase View Rotation Axis Offset" in 0 or 3.

I believe it's how much it will allow the car to rotate before the camera will start to follow, lower will allow some rotation before following

Somehow I can't seem to win any of the races in the world map, always coming on 2nd place at most. Where should I start or what must I do? Raise enough credits to buy a faster car? I've never played in Gran Turismo game before
go to tuning shop. get an M3 or GTR. buy the engine builds and turbo with nitrous. then turn down your gear ratio for best results. youll leave all the cars in the dust.

I was just watching a replay of one of my races from the in-car camera and it shows the driver using brake pedal as the accelerator for the entire race!?!? WTF! Not to mention the shifting does not match the sound!
