After buying it, I'm delighted to know she endorses it since 3 years ago she talked me into getting the original Jiva! I love Boss Roland and have been playing them for 50 years with not a single problem. Outstanding quality is their exclusive feature in everything they make
GT1000 is far better than any Neural or Helix uninspiring, long latency, non dynamic digital stuff. The AIRD has nailed the amp feel and is the only modeller or profiler that has achieved that. Forget all those clever comments like that sounds better because they don't play better and the product is dedicated to guitar playing not to guitar listening. Nough said.
The suite at the end of Raise Your Fist and Yell is so awesome. Love Roses on White Lace especially, but Chop Chop Chop and Gail are great too. Kind of reminds me of King Diamond.
I have the GTCore. It's awesome. The amps and cabs sound very realistic. People are gonna say something else is sounds better, but frankly, all the digital amp modellers sound about the same. The technology is fast approaching it's apex. After that, it's all marketing.
Id like one of these :) and everyone has to remember! people like Nita Strauss and Johnny Marr use multi effects live!!! they are pro's!! and sound good!! ignore those who bash these units! single pedals are great but more hassle!! I sometimes get fed up with all that power cable! patch cable!! where is this and that going to go :) I am tempted to just go GT-1000core with one or two pedals :) just keep it very simple
this was brilliant to have the female lead guitarist explained what the boss gt 1000 core is capable of. in 1 minute and 21 seconds she explained why i will definitely buy a boss gt 1000 core. the host scientifically explained all the features of this wonderful machine like she made it.i own a krog pandora box with lots of effects i believe my model has 128. this one has more and 250 custom presets with 250 you can make you're own this machine i must have for my fender and other guitar to hear all these effects i want to play. ah i digress i have my grocery list of boss items super chorus, delay, reverb, loop system, trembolo and the gt 1000 core. excellent presentation. i recently picked up the boss gt 1000 on Thursday 5/20 1134 am and played it for over 4 hours and it was everything I expected and more compared to my krog pandora box. a must have for professional and novice guitar players and it's upgradable from the micro USB port from boss content.
I went and bought one after hearing it nice piece of kit 🎸👍 Its been great for live gigs through the PA just come out the Mono and into the other mono and your away I like using the Patches after you click the 2 buttons to the right that say Manuel mode👍 Really good sounds
The Core would likely solve several problems I've had with other pedal processors/amp modelers I've owned since 2018. Because I use an external distortion, I most often plug into the distortion generator on my way into the modeler. It tends to wreak havoc when I am using modulation or Wawa functions on the modeler. It's not difficult to imagine the effects sends on the Core would rectify that particular setback. Only, is there a way of adding additional control functions besides the one at the far right? That is a problem I've had with my current Boss modeling device, the ME-80. Each preset only has the same single control on and off, and I'd like something that allowed me to separately access a distortion generator and a modulation effect.
Hello, chavezding62! The G-1000 Core does not have an auxiliary in, but it does have stereo inputs and effect returns. Thanks for the interest! Cody Kraus, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1766, cody_kraus@sweetwater.com
Hi im using this thing through a blues junior valve fender amp, should I have my in out settings output set on 1 x 12 tube amp would that work only im not sure about that bit thanks
I had both the stomp and gt1000 core. The core sounds and feels better, while the stomp has more effects and is easier to use. Ymmv but the stomp sounds like a toy compared to the core, so I ended up selling it. Both are good. Just get whatever aligns with what you want to do and whatever fits your budget.
can you put the compressor after the amp ? ....this is a make or break question for any modeler, for me. if the compressor is before the amp, then I know I don't want to use it....and if there is no post amp compressor, then it doesn't even have a compressor. in fact, a studio compressor after the amp is the Only Reason i would get a modeler....because that is difficult to do in real life, where it is a piece of cake for the developer.
First off...Sweetwater rules. I buy pretty much everything from you guys. But this device...Top end is super crispy and gritty. Sounds like a modeler as expected. Opposite of the rounded top end, smooth mids and tight bass of anything by NeuralDSP. HX Stomp with Ownhammer IRs are way more pleasing. Acoustic modeling demo is beyond terrible. Maybe it’s just these darn Apple AirPods! And you know, opinions are like....
I think these machines should come preset from 1-5 with great tones instead you have to programme them yourself now for a lot of people and for that reason this and others like it will be of no use. Why? Because people don't know how use them
@@jcalzada74 No they don't stop it.. The HeadRush unit has the best looking interface. Followed by the Helix. Then, new Quad Cortex.. Kemper, then Fractal units.
Nothing wrong with the interface. I have a Kemper and I think all of these devices are easy to get used to once you own it. I would say fractal is the most complex IMO. If you’re talking strictly aesthetics and how pretty it is then that is completely subjective. I don’t really care about pretty colors and touch screen to be honest as long as the result is a great tone.
I know you're just joking but I've used mine heavily for the last 3 months and its still going strong. People say boss pedals are built like tanks. This one's no exception. It's really solidly built.
@@SeaphoamGreen Excellent! I'm just concerned because that display looks like the same one used for the Boss SY-1000 and it's a fairly uncommon problem. Rock on!
@@Koushikdbrp Yeah, I just wasted my time listening to both of those guys' demos. Horrible, harsh, digital 90's multieffect pedal tones. You couldn't give me that crap for free.
They should have added a mini exp pedal and one more control to keep it small . That would make it a real winner . Still ,not bad for portability . I use the GT 1000 and like it , but not for its size .
It's everything you love about the BOSS GT-1000 in a compact housing🎛 Like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

I don’t know the amps but the effects are so much better in the boss. I cannot recreate them in my Helix

I had a try in the shop and sound terrible. But maybe it was the no good factory Presets they put in . good video

Wow
sounds amazing but i dont expect anything less from Boss of course.
BTW your nails look very cool
i just looked at the price not bad at all.I guessed over 1000.00 nope its way under that
I compared this with a pod go and chose the pod go IMHO pod go much better and better price.
Cork sniffer will say pass get an AX FX or Kenmore
