You made it look a lot easier than it was. I had to keep adjusting the height and the tension. The clips are not easy to remove. I used a needlenose pliers.
Update: Thanks for the phone support. All is good now.
Just installed mine (2018/19 MB Revel). Pretty straight forward install. Looks and works great! I did save step 1 for last though ...

Just installed mine over the weekend and it was a life saver from biting flies at the beach!
However, we had a very heavy storm come through and noticed water was wicking from the top of the bug wall behind the weather stripping and getting into the van when the door was fully closed.
Any advice here?

What if the weatherstripping does not go on
I definitely recommend removing the step. It takes about ten minutes or less and makes the install much less of a pain. The installer makes it look too easy! :)
I want to see how to install on a 2017 Travato G....there is a plastic bracket on the right side of the sliding door that goes over the seal. I need to see how to deal with this situation please.
just cut the hooked edge off with a drywall knife (with a 2 ended hook utility blade) and leave just enough space for the inside of the seal to go in the body. the seal covers up the cut as it may not be perfect.
Great video, thanks so much for posting it. Now I know how my screen should have been installed! The pervious owner had just velcro it on, which lead to the glued on velcro strip pulling away. Is it possible to get just the clips you mention in your video ??I have a 2017 sprinter. Thanks
I bought the back and side door screens love them both. Back door was way easier to be honest. But still easy and effective bug screen.
Got mine installed today...but I did step 1 at least 3 times to get it right.
Can never be too careful with step 1.

can you use this on an econoline? I have a 2000 Ford econoline e-250 that I would like a side and back cover for.
Sorry we do not offer a model that will fit the Econolines at this time
What kind of small clips do you use to hold the screen in place under the gasket?

Sorry we do not have a video for that specific model. It is the same as the high roof though just with shorter door openings. Thanks for the interest

How long do they last? Can you just leave them on ,and roll up out of season? Do they have UV protection?
They are built to last a very long time. Yes all the materials are UV marine grade and yes you can roll them up or even the new models can unzip across the top and remove for off season storage.
