Well explained sir, I own Altroz, and I'm aware of this system. Always keep the child lock enabled in my back door. One day my 1.5 yr old toddler unlocked the backdoor, while I was driving. Some mechanic had disabled the child lock while servicing, which I was unaware of. It was a horrible experience for all of us. God's grace nothing happened on that day. It's the biggest blunder by the manufacturer. TATA should recall and fix this issue in all of their cars.

I own Altroz and I love it. Wonderful car, however, from the beginning my biggest concern is this particular central locking feature, whenever we go out as a first think I will always remind my wife and daughter not to touch the lever. Actually this is not a problem for Co-passenger because the alarm will ring until the Co-passenger fasten the belt. I see this as a safety concern for others, the altroz doors are heavy and opens 90°, in case the door got opened inadvertently that cause huge damage to other cars, bikers, padestrians, etc. My humble request is Tata should find an alternative solution and I believe they will address this issue soon. Tata technicians are well talented and equipped no doubt on that. I really appreciate all of your efforts Mr. Rajesh for posting this kind of awareness videos. People like you are super important for this society. Friends, safety is everyones' responsibility. Drive safe and create accident free road.

I had seen this in Ford Ikon car, and after few years the lock creates problem. Also if you have seen the key of ford vehicle it's like pointed Nail design the key also looses it shape in few years. In that vehicle it was kind of two step. First when we pull we will get sound of centrol lock and it comes to normal unlock position. then if we pull it will open the door.... More than safety feature i see this as cost cutting feature....
In an accident airbag will launch only at that time this option should be available to open in a single time pull until then it should be in a closed state.

I have an altroz and venue, Issue is with Altroz, in venue there is a master lock button on the driver door and also master lock for power windows. May be TATA should copy this feature from Hyundai.

It is big issue ...tata must consider and assure passenger safe...even my maruthi 800 also have good locking system once we manualy lock inside lock button the door can not open by opening lever .......most of family kids like to sit left side of front row so child safety lock useless for back door ...
Recently I checked this in my friend's Skoda Rapid, it's the same. The doors are opening even after the central lock is on. It's a safety feature to get out in an critical situation when driver couldn't able to unlock the doors
TATA should fix this issue , its not just in new cars . They should call back all existing car owners and fix this in over a period of years . My humble request to TATA.
Another way also TATA can consider. They can give the control to driver. The first level of lock can control by driver, once he released the other 3 doors can be open. TATA should work on this, they losing many customers because of this issue.

I sold my ertiga 2018 which is a super car having no negative points at all. The central lock system is perfect. "Impact Sensing Auto Door Unlock" is the safty feature this is just cost cutting. In hyundai if you try to unlock the small button on the moving car that will be locked automatically. have to stop the car to open the dor.
