bro, I remember the time i got this gpu for Christmas and the first thing i wanted to know was, how well will it run in my dell optiplex 3020 sff. this tech content is my favorite one. even tho now i have much more powerful custom pc, i think that these gpus and pcs are much more cool and fun. nice vid.
@@muran1874 Thank you! I was also curious how an i5-2500 and a GT 1030 would work out together. Besides, i couldn't do a lot with Intel HD Graphics 2000 and i saw online that the GT 1030 is the best that this HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF can support. Also, yeah. Older PCs are honestly a lot more interesting.
@@armorguy5563 The motherboard, as far as i'm concerned, can run the GT 1030 the best. And the SFF's PSU is 240 W, but TechPowerUp says that it has a TDP of 75 W and the recommended PSU should be 250 W or more.
@@DavidPetronix_QTN then it's more than likely to bottleneck, I remember when I wanted to upgrade my gpu from 750 ti to 1050 ti, I was offered a 1650 instead and I asked them if it's gonna bottleneck it because the cpu was i3 6100 and they said no, but funny how I was able to run fallout 4 and overwatch just fine (it was overwatch 1 and it was back in 2020)
I wanted to do a quick video, but i also wanted to show everything. Also, the video is as much big as how much VRAM the GT 1030 has. Yes, 2 GB.

Another fellow windows 7 user in 2024, anyways good video as always.
@@WiseExit9615 Thanks! And, yeah, still using 7 after all those years. I just like using it.
i always wanted one to pair with my 200GE. But i decided to upgrade my cpu to a 5600G.. Thanks for sharing
Awesome!!!!
I know right?
Now I just think that every Croat out there uses windows 7 lmao
Bruh (Some of my friends still use Windows 7 lmao)
If cpu is fitting, you can also try gtx 1650 low profile
Now I'm not saying that 1030 is bad, it kinda matches to 750 ti, just saying

Also, the CPU is a Sandy Bridge i5-2500, and i think that would maybe cause a huge bottleneck.
