      Thank you so much for playing the Soprano, you have no idea how giddy that made me ^_^
      Sorry about the high notes on the Soprano - that print is REALLY finicky and I've never figured out how to improve the stability printer to printer.
      It can hit most of the notes (last note is always kind of shrill, though) if the stars align and the print is perfect.

    Did not expect such a well developed youtube video for such a niche topic. I mean you literally used a professional ocarina player. This is amazing. It has the type of editing that would get like tens of thousands of views.

    • @cocoahere875
      @cocoahere875 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @tommygun020 Apologies. I meant 0.2mm later height, not 2mm. Along with that I used 0.4mm line width with 4 walls, and PLA as my material.

    • @UrakianOcarinist
      @UrakianOcarinist ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check the inner chamber for stringing and try to clear it out with tweezers - they can disrupt the airflow and cause issues with the high notes.
      Sometimes there's also a blob on the inside of the windway that can cause issues, though you mentioned sanding so you probably already checked in there.
      Also, make sure to print on at least 3 perimeters - if there's even a tiny hole inside the inner chamber it'll goof it up irreparably.

    I'd like to print out a 12 hole ocarina, but I'm afraid to hit start because the supports are generating inside the ocarina. Should I exclude those supports? or should I print it like that and try to pick them out through the holes?

    • @BigRigCreates
      @BigRigCreates  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I accidentally forgot to get rid of the internal ones once time. 0 percent chance of getting those out. Use support blocker to only remove interior supports, and you should be good.

      Well, true but if you want a less fiddly 3D printer you're looking at $300. That or a good friend who has one. But plastic is around $20 a kilo so for like a 20-30 gram print its relatively good value.
