Pyro : _(Applies for Partner)_ Twitch : "Hmmm, No. Better luck next time" Pyro : _(Applies again)_ Twitch : "You got the job, kid..." _(a few hours later)_ Twitch : "You got rejected before ? How come you never told me ??? Unpartnered !!!"
Aaaah there's someone at Twitch that really hates you. Twitch being the high standard of morale with no history of favoriting some streamers despites their conduct.
Oh yeah, it's a lot of nepotism. Once you get a good Twitch contact on the inside, it's easy to get streamers partnered through them. And it goes the other way as well, some twitch employees just hate certain content creators and will do anything in their power to keep them off the platform.
The fact that a single individual's PERSONAL hatred towards someone, can affect that person's means of making good revenue off of their platform, because there is no good competition, is absolutely bizarre to me. Keep in mind that individual's personal belief is also directly affecting twitch's bottom line. Come on..If you wanna hate someone, do it outside of your professional setting.
Without watching, my theory is that they remembered pyro was proven innocent of those grooming allegations and thus banned him due to not meeting the expectations of their moderation team
So, if I understand correctly, first they denied your application because most of your audience came from TH-cam, then they denied it for seemingly no reason, stating that you were "on the right track", then they denied it a third time using the exact same wording as the second time, then they just ignored your 4th application, and once you finally got some help in becoming a Twitch partner, they revoked your status as a Twitch partner AND a Twitch affiliate, and made up some bullshit reasoning about how you "solicited" help from the North American Twitch Partner program. Ngl, it sounds like someone at Twitch (and specifically their European branch) has a personal vendetta against you.

My friend got banned on twitch for uhh... "hateful conduct". On a stream where he was just assembling puzzles live. Twitch never replied to him, never reasoned, never checked, he streams on TH-cam for a couple years now

Nah Bruv Twitch is a shit platform, I dont even hate *most* streamers, It just needs to be fucking nuked or sold to someone competent, Fuck they cant even Follow their own rules for "acceptable content"
Hey Pyro, Twitch nerd here. I don't know if you'll see this but I have a suggestion... Since you're now no longer under any legal obligation to stay faithful to Twitch (considering you're not even an Affiliate anymore) You could give Twitch the middle finger by Multi-Streaming on both Twitch AND TH-cam simultaneously. Twitch HATES THIS because your content on their platform is no longer exclusive to them for 24 hours under the affiliate clause. So you could stream on your Twitch channel with the benefit of bringing even MORE people to your TH-cam content, Stream on your PyroLive Channel simultaneously, and make money while being live. Just a thought! Check and mate.
@@warduxe Even if it's not, if it'll get Twitch's attention and piss 'em off cuz he's not legally restricted anymore, it'll force their hand and could possibly bring legal courts into play.

Then he can get a bit of money because they wasted his time and Twitch either has to give back his affiliate status or just ban him outright. I think this is a very good suggestion by Zero Excuse. Their failure to get back to you within the alotted 2 weeks means you were likely within your rights to try to get in contact with them another way.
Is It possible for Pyro to get back at Twitch? The fact they gave him no answer for far longer than It was esteemed with no other way to act (they backed him into a corner) and did not actually tell him his latest attempt had been declined. Then the reason for removing his status being he solicited Partner without telling them that he had been rejected, when in reality that latest apply had not been answered? I mean if the reason for the ban is that Pyro had been rejected and didnt tell them, but the latest apply was never answered, he wasnt rejected, he was just left on read. Isnt there something there to work with? (Besides the fact if your application is forgotten you are stuck is kind of lame)
@@gabrielpineirogarcia2078 I think that's pretty thin grounds anyway. Twitch is a single entity. Creators bringing in their pre-established audience is not a drawback, it is an actual principle of platform ecosystem. But am I shocked that Twitch does not understand its own service and business model? Nope, not at slightest.
It's certainly a drawback if those people only visit the platform to watch that single creator. You're assuming that people will go watch a pyro stream, and then suddenly decide to start browsing the Twitch frontpage, and subscribe to literally anyone else. If people only follow one creator on the platform, and they use their free subscription on them, it's a net loss for Twitch. To say they don't understand their own business model is disingenuous, they're the biggest and most successful live streaming platform out there. Twitch certainly has tons of issues, but not understanding growth isn't one of them. you can either claim they're bumbling idiots who are successful due to no work on their part, or they're a greedy corporation who only cares about making money off their creators. But you can't argue they're both, because if they were inept and greedy they would be just as unsuccessful at making money.
@@williamrutherford553 Disagree. Many companies are inept and greedy; they're just too big to fail. They will eventually fail, but it will take a while. Just because something is successful doesn't mean its good or sustainable.
@@williamrutherford553 yeah but people only going to twitch to watch pyro is still better then peole not going to twitch at all? Its cutting off your nose to spite your face
@@williamrutherford553 It's not a drawback. If someone is only going onto Twitch to watch Pyro, they by definition aren't using or joining Twitch anyway; Twitch doesn't "lose" that user, or chance to get that user, because they neither had them nor were going to get them anyway. There's no overhead on Twitch's behalf from people using Twitch to watch streams, they don't lose money either. Now, multiply this individual who is only there for Pyro by, let's say 10,000 (that' about the number from when I last watched a TH-cam stream, although admittedly it wasn't Pyro). That's 10,000 users who are now on the Twitch platform who otherwise wouldn't have come. Statistically, some of them will get curious and click around, and some of those will join. *everyone* who inorganically uses Twitch is not going to join Twitch, but due to lack of cost or loss, if at least one person does, Twitch has become better off. And the more someone streams and brings over users, the more people will naturally join Twitch.
In my opinion, Twitch should have a legal obligation to explain they're bans. At this rate, they could just freely ban anyone just for the shits and giggles and never explain why. They're compromising peoples' careers here, and it is a moral necessity to at least show their reasoning for it.
Having your partner application denied because your viewers come from other platforms is THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I'VE EVER HEARD. This is literally what companies should want?? More users on their platform and not others. I'm baffled.

Pyro mate, I think your best course of action is using TH-cam to stream. Its not worth being pissed about by twitch’s poor management for no reason they care to disclose. Alternatively by streaming on TH-cam, you have more freedom and perhaps will perform better due to TH-cam being the underlying foundation and home for your online career.
I mostly agree, but it's probably a good idea for him to diversify, too. He tells jokes and jokes are not allowed in 2022 the year of hypocritical bigotism. A lot of people who's skin is as thick as wet tissue paper hate anyone who has even a single thought different from them and if one of these disturbingly unstable people works for a company like Twitch or TH-cam and has the power to cause harm to anyone but their 10 best friends who are all drones like them, then they'll use it to harm people like Pyro.
@@Obversechaos that is exactly what has happened, yes. He should diversify to avoid getting the Alex J treatment, but that only goes so far when you're ALREADY getting screwed over by other platforms such as Twitch. Come on, we all know what Twitch's stance on muh offensive words are.
This isn't the first time I've heard this happen to UK creators, a creator called sliker acted unpleasantly during his early time on twitch but later cleaned up his act, they denied his applications for a couple of years. They always said "you're almost there, keep up the good work". Which makes me think that the Europe branch is very touchy on anyones past, must be something pyro was involved in that they aren't budging on. Although it clearly isn't the entire staff since a reasonable staff member approved the application once the partner manager got involved. I would love to have seen the internal squabble when the people denying him found out.
Someone joked about it, but I think it’s from those grooming accusations pyro disproved a while back. Someone at twitch must think he is an actual groomer, and with no legal methods of punishment, they are punishing him on twitch
Twitch management really shines through when a different section of the same company doesn't check to see whether someone has been denied partner before lmao
The thing is that Pyro most likely started streaming to Twitch in an attempt to diversify, and have another avenue to go down if TH-cam ever decided to can him. Unfortunately Twitch said hell no before he was even fully in the door. It sucks, since all the platforms think the same, do the same, and share info between themselves. Unless you move to an obscurer site like Bitchute, or the other ones that keep popping up, you're left with little options.
this sucks so much, so many companies have default copy pasted answers that help no one, when all people want is a why, if youre sending someone to check it out, why cant it at least explain the situation? it already had to go through the trouble to verify if it was allowed or not and this is with a big youtuber, imagine with people that are starting also the fact that the partnership *wasnt* rejected and was just..forgotten, then somehow pyro got blamed for..reapplying..when reapplying isnt against the rules & theres nothing that says that you have to inform you tried and didnt get selected before is just, beyond dumb besides, why does it matters if you got rejected before? in theory every time you try to apply your application should've been valued alone, not based on past cases unless theres some good reason for it
It amazes me how lazy, petty and incompetent a lot of companies are. I've even joked about it with friends, but I legit think some companies are just filled with people who're high all the time and only work 3 days a week
Theres a video going round of a Twitter employee admitting he only did 4 hours a week and other employees took'mental health breaks' sometimes for months at a time. Youre not wrong
I also bet that's part of the company culture, and if anyone with an _actual_ work ethic made it onto their moderation team, they'd get washed out: either all the work gets dumped on them, because they can take it; or the other employees pick on them until they leave.

I don't know if this will get to anyone but I'll give it a shot: There is an Italian streamer called Sdrumox, he got banned for making an arguably edgy joke. I'm not here to discuss with you whether the ban was deserved or not but to discuss how twitch treated him during the ban period, he was basically segregated in his room because he lived in a streaming house and all of his unban appeals never received a human response. During this time he wasn't able to stream on other platforms, stay with his friends because of the streams, and this took a huge toll on his mental health, it is horrifying to think that a platform as twitch that promotes inclusivity can cause so much damage to a person without even acknowledging him as a human being.
this will sound shitty but except for the not responsing to the ban appeals none of that is twitch's problem. if the ban was justified, then he did it to himself? what do you want them to do, unban him because its taking a toll on him? that would be incredibly biased, and the only other thing i can think of them doing is removing their policy where banned users cant appear on others streams which is a terrible idea. why didnt his freinds take a couple days off streaming for him? maybe im not completley understanding the situation but this sounds like a situation he put himself in. none of twitch's problem.
@@shut7353 Don't worry it doesn't sound shitty, it is a legitimate question and i didn't spend much time explaining myself, the problem is regarding the treatment that he got. He had a direct contact with a twitch staff member that made him believe that he was going to get banned and during that time he was not allowed to do anything, he was even told to not speak with his followers about it. For what concerns his friends they did take time off of course but basically what they had most fun doing together was streaming, and most importantly the thing that i didn't say in the previous comment and for which i apologize is the way twitch handled the situation in a truly unfair way. We have had here in italy literal crimes commited in live, such as identity theft and arrest resistance (and much more) and all of the people that commited them were unbanned sooner or later, if you compare all of this with an edgy joke it sounds unbelievable that twitch would reserve to him this kind of treatment.
@Tumor Tuner If you can read, you can see the comment i replied to specifically said they weren't discussing if his ban was deserved or not. They were speaking about how twitch treated him during his ban, to which I replied that twitch didn't do anything wrong. If the ban is undeserved obviously he should be unbanned.
It's pretty much certain that someone in Twitch's staff doesn't like you and is blocking your applications anyway they can. Favoritism happens all the time on Twitch, if someone in there doesn't like you for whatever reason you're not getting anywhere in that company, while if they have a thing for you (like being an attractive woman) it'll take a lot for you to see any real punishment for misbehavior or other infractions. The fact the system itself is giving you errors and telling you misleading information is likely because the goblin that has it out for you can directly access some internal stuff to bypass their system and just wreck you directly. I would cut my loses and try streaming somewhere else especially since you don't consider it your primary source of income.
How unlucky can a person be. After everything and now this, it's downright impresive how Pyro is still so motivated and always carries such a postive energy.
Knowing how twitch is, you'd think it would happen to more people too... There's got to be so many people on twitch more controversial than Pyro to the point where this would at least be a known issue, but who knows. It sucks for him big time. hope he gets his partnership back
Yes, they have creators more controversial than Pyro. The reason this doesn't happen to them is BECAUSE they're successful, therefore it's more profitable for twitch to keep them. They might temporarily ban troublesome creators, but they'll gladly take the money they generate regardless. The difference is, those controversial creators are partners. This seems less like something personal against pyro, and just twitch not caring at all. They clearly aren't too worried about losing him as a creator, or they would be going above and beyond to keep him. I'm sure they have a huge list of biggest creators from other platforms wanting to be a twitch partner, to the point where they aren't too bothered if a few get ignored and never become partner.
The fact that Twitch still doesn't let affiliates have quality settings for viewers STILL baffles me beyond belief. That's like TH-cam making it so every video posted by channels with less than 1000 subscribers are locked in at a single quality. It quite literally makes zero sense in any way, shape, or form.

Aaaah there's someone at Twitch that really hates you.
Twitch being the high standard of morale with no history of favoriting some streamers despites their conduct.
This. Vtubers from TH-cam are cross platforming to Twitch and they get a free pass, yet Pyro doesn't

@@c0baltl1ghtn1ng Even if Twitch takes it to court, what can they achieve if he has no legal obligation to not stream on two platforms simultaneously? Nothing but wasting his time. If he gets a lawyer (which he definetely should in such a case), then the lawyer will do almost all the work for him, stress would be minimal. Twitch would lose, because he has no obligation. Then he can get a bit of money because they wasted his time and Twitch either has to give back his affiliate status or just ban him outright.
I think this is a very good suggestion by Zero Excuse. If Twitch wants to play stupid games, then they should only win stupid prizes.

It's bizzare that Twitch wouldn't want to actively take another platform's viewers.
Creators bringing in their pre-established audience is not a drawback, it is an actual principle of platform ecosystem. But am I shocked that Twitch does not understand its own service and business model? Nope, not at slightest.
Yeah, like it's a bad thing when you bring new customers to a platform???

I don't know if this will get to anyone but I'll give it a shot:
There is an Italian streamer called Sdrumox, he got banned for making an arguably edgy joke.
I also think that this would be an interesting story to cover in a video
this will sound shitty but except for the not responsing to the ban appeals none of that is twitch's problem. if the ban was justified, then he did it to himself? what do you want them to do, unban him because its taking a toll on him? that would be incredibly biased, and the only other thing i can think of them doing is removing their policy where banned users cant appear on others streams which is a terrible idea. why didnt his freinds take a couple days off streaming for him? maybe im not completley understanding the situation but this sounds like a situation he put himself in. none of twitch's problem.
Pyro has to reveal his 2nd fetish if he wishes to get unbanned
Bro💀
more like putting ur name in the goblet of fire then get yelled at by dumbledore
Hope the community can stir up enough discussion to get this reverted
So guys, we did it
We got banned from twitch
he said the funny
@Savetion (KING OF YT) imagine self promoting your channel on the channel you're trying to mock. 🤡
So guy we did it
We got MORB
We are so fucked....
Mission Accomplished, Good Work
How unlucky can a person be.
IDK how it sucks "big time" for Pyro. I'm pretty sure 99% of his audience is from TH-cam, not the other way around.
"Too many of your viewers are coming from externals sites"
Meanwhile: *Fextralife literally viewbotting with their shitty website*
Twitch: "Teehee... That's fine"
God, I fucking hate fextralife and their shitty pop-up twitch streams so much.
Like, i just want to see what to do next in Dark Souls, i don't care about your Twitch side.
The only thing I know about twitch is that the moderators do drugs. Herman Li (guitarist for DragonForce) got banned without telling him why, and it looks like it was because he played his own music
The entire chat was just Morbius memes. We're hopeless as a society.
The world itself tries to force pyro to stay exclusively on youtube
I know he's smiling. But you can see deep down he's like, "Why the fuck are they doing this now of all places?"
Purro just can't catch a break yo
Some employee is probably butthurt about one thing or another, and just wants to fuck over Pyro. Yknow, it's incredibly scummy and probably against their own rules (so all those people saying mUh PriVaTe CoMpAnY can fuck right off) but its twitch, what can you expect
Sounds absolutely like someone on the European team was determined to make sure you didn't get partnered, and was high up enough to throw a hissyfit when you found it from the NA team.
You know it's serious when Pyro uploads on the Main Channel instead of Pyro Live
Don’t worry Pyro. Even if you’ve been banned on Twitch, you can always stream in my heart.
With all the benefits.
Maybe the real streams is the friends we made along the way :)
This man manages to get banned from everything
1:42 "Believe me i got like the Elder scrolls moth priests to have a look at it" Laughed my ass off XD
This sounds like the exact type of thing that would happen to me if I were to stream for a living, it would be so typical and I wouldn't even have the recognition to reach out to someone else for help and so I'd just get frustrated, quit and never look back. I'm glad I'm not a content creator, I guarantee any technical issues would be a daily problem.
You make some of the best content on TH-cam with tons of obvious effort and creativity. Twitch can suck me bollocks and I hope this work out for you man
The fact that soft banned is even a thing shows we've stooped to a new low
i think the only way for things like this to stop happening is to remove the secrecy with the decision making 'n whatnot so you know who exactly is just fucking around with the system because they personally dislike you and get them fired for unprofessionalism or something
otherwise they just will never get held accountable
