Almost everything we got was complete junk, none of it matched the description or picture of what we ordered and some things just never even showed up. Also the entire checkout and customer service experience was sketchy and stressful.

Okay so I thought the retractable saber was the coolest. If the sling shot was better quality then it may have been my favorite. Throwing knives, not so much. They were the worst in my opinion. But maybe that’s because I’m no good with them.
The most practice in my opinion was the knights hoodie. You can use that everyday and be known as that weird guy. The wide tooth comb concealed knife was dope.

The sling shot/brass knucks was probably the best.
They all really sucked tho. 😄
I like the shield most, even if it is a little boring. The worst was that weird kusarigama or whatever that was that you slashed your eye with. It's so unpredictable lol.

I kept thinking that if Mike got that Wish box as a kid, his reaction would be identical to now, including the injury.

@@user-ns4zm8qe9p Actually the wish version of that is the lightweight wushu version. My actual 9 sec is 500g on each section, totaling out at around 4.5kg. That thing doesn't bounce back when you strike.
That steel mace thing is perfect for Mike… they match!
Skinny body, bald head and loose screws.
Mike could have busted out some Gorilla Glue to fasten those sharp pointy bits to the head of it.

That accident was millimeters from being a life changing disaster...this is really one of those "don't try this at home" situations.
you should make a "wall of fails" in your studio which would contain all of the self defense things that you reviewed that are trash. it would be a good conversation piece.
I've been looking into custom weapon walls for my office to put stuff on. Haven't seen anything I'm crazy about.

I had one of those for about 2 weeks till it was stolen out of my car lol - It was pretty legit although all steel so wayy too heavy in the handle = balance sucked.
I haven’t laughed this hard in a while(except when you about took out your eye). Love it how you shot his nipple with the slingshot and he said that wasn’t bad but Then the pain set in 😂. He doesn’t trust you very much 😂. This would be so much fun. The worst was the Chain thing that got your eye. The best the spike ball of spikes stayed in and the comb knife. The needle launcher and throwing knives could be a deterrant against a non-comitted attacker, but if the attacker is commited you're basically giving them a weapon to stick you with, so yeah, worse by far.
The baton, and monkey fist are probably the best, although the monkey fist needs a better handle

No!
To fix the mace, drill a 3/8" hole in the head and clean it out with denatured alcohol or 91% isopropyl alcohol. Clean all the spikes that fell out.
Push the missing spikes back in, maybe use paper shims to make them stay. Then fill the head with resin (e.g. car body and fiberglassing resin).
Then it is heavyier and the spikes are locked in and bedded more firmly for harder strikes. A lot of these cheap weapons just need a little tuning to make them reliable.

That would make the spiked mace truly deadly. Imagine if you got someone right in the skull with a wind up over the head and a snap of your wrist on the follow through.

I think you were confusing the 9-sectional whip chain with how to use a rope dart. Either way, they make for great movies and less practical self defense.

Out of everything there I definitely love the pathan because of the look and for a self-defense or even a fight as far as the throwing knives and the object that would throw the knives for you I love the idea of it that's definitely for sure but the rest of it was no good
So the chain whip thing could actually work cause how much range it has.
It does like no damage.
but it's only damaging at that exact end range, and is totally unpredictable. I'd rather have a pool noodle with a knife sticking out the end, it'd do the same exact thing and be less likely to hurt me haha
@@hard2hurt you weren't swinging it it hard enough, the nine section whip was actually third weapon on Chinese warriors. You can so some complicated stick with it but it's just like swinging a around a chain

9:02 you can actually very easily turn that knuckle duster into a deadly weapon just switch the pouch for a paracord and you can shoot razor sharp darts with it wich are btw very simple to make all u gotta do is grab bunch of steel wires from an umbrella and than cut them with pliers to the preferred size and than flatten the tips with hammer cut a triangle shape on them with pliers sharpen them a little with stone sharpener and saw a little hook so the paracord can rest and shoot the darts
Let's see more on that monkey fist and whip chain and mace and Baton. I think each of them deserve their own episode with testing and whatnot.

That chain thing, it took me several weeks of training using rope and smallest lock padded with several layers of cloth before I got the confidence to use the real things. It's a dangerous weapon fotlr the enemy as well as to the user
Most people think the chain is worst actually they can very useful but you must be highly skilled which takes at least a year and many many hours like at least 200, or you are of more danger to yourself which you proved😂. The least valuable was the brash knuckles kubotan. I liked the jumbo baton best. Also the little knife gun would work on someone wearing a T shirt since human flesh is much less tough than what you were shooting into. But it would only hurt and scare someone off hopefully since it wouldn't take them down unless you hit a vital area. Slingshots are sling shots they work great with a 50cal lead ball.
The monkey’s fist works. Supposedly it was a common weapon for sailors in port that’s why some cites made it illegal to carry. With that being said a sling is one of mans earliest weapons.

brass knuckles can work if its sitting on a full handguard, maybe with some cushioning inside of it as well to take away the blowback of hitting someone with it. and to have that on a slingshot, i think is the ultimate self defense weapon.
