Glen Campbell (78) was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 2011.
The recording of " I'm not gonna miss you " was Glen Campbell's last time in the studio. His wife Kim considers it to be a love song for her. And indeed, if you listen to the lyrics and watch the video, it's not difficult to think it is an ode to his wife: " You're the last person I will love, you're the last face I will recall. And, best of all, I'm not gonna miss you. " Meaning: I will not be able anymore to miss you. I love this man.

Its a song that makes grown men cry. Alzheimer's is the last mile in life and the fact is that they are here and gone and they aren't going to miss you rings very true.

So sad but true. Dont know how the loved ones of an Alzheimers patient would take this. Like anything else some would be OK with it some wouldnt.
