My purchase and initial testing of the NXR2, I have subsequently fitted a Cardo unit (just the basic HD (Spirit?) which fits via an adhesive pad and seems to work well!
You could change the cheek pads before purchase the seller should change the pads to smaller size which I did .. infinity changed it and allowed to sell it with smaller pads inside without extra charge ;)

I am now looking at the NXR 2, coming from a GT Air and then a GT Air 2 - both of which have leaked quite badly around the visor seals - to the point of being dangerous in my opinion. Two years on, I am wondering if the seal on the NXR 2 is still as good as it was during your review? The background to this is I am reluctant to spend more money to fix the seal problem after the GT Air 2 problems. Thanks.
Hmm not had a problem but the seal has to be maintained with a moisturiser! I notice the aerodynamics of the lid do make the lifting of the visor in rain an issue as it instantly pull rain droplets inside, the GT air is a far better helmet in my opinion but then a greater expense! You will notice a 'nuisance value' to having to remove the lid when stopping ( I have an old flip myself - AGV noisy but I love the convenience! ).
@@martynpriddy1006 Thank you for your response. The GT AIr is definitely a 'better' specified helmet, but for me, the leaking around the visor is a deal breaker, I can't justify throwing another £500+ on the GT Air 3 in the hope that it is better.
I got my today and have to say that it feels heavy. Hurts my neck when wearing it especially when leaning forward. It basically feels heavy. Anyone who has the same problem?
Cant say I have any issues, it is not a heavy helmet, quite the contrary so may be the padding at the back of the neck, I must say it is the tightest fit I have ever had!
My personal experience with the NXR2 was bad. It was the noisiest helmet I have ever used, so much so that I ended up selling it on. I understand the factors of naked / screen, head shape and the use of earplugs etc but after watching so many video's claiming noise reduction in comparison to others I was shocked just how bad it was compared to my old HJC. Lost a chunk of money finding out it was awful.

Try it and try others, fit is everything but for me its quality shines through.
FYI Shoei make their own comms attachment bracket for this helmet
Omar your'e a star! I never knew this existed although I have managed to 'fit' my Senna clamp this looks a far better idea!

Quite surprised at your experience, obviously varies from person to person.
Bought one yesterday. It is nosier than my Arai if you have the visor cracked but if that is closed it makes less noise but different tone
