Why can I imagine a happy ending for Henry. Like, a second player comes in and uses various exploits to bypass the bedrock in various ways. For example, to escape the nether portal cage, you can break the portal, throw an ender pearl at the right spot (Assuming the walls aren't too thick) then rebuild the portal on the outside. Or, assuming the exploit still works in an early version, you can use the bedrock breaking trick with a trapdoor, TNT, and a few pistons. This hypothetical scenario could be a metaphor for Henry getting some help to stand up to the bullies at school, either from a teacher or another student.

The small scale of this project works very well for the story and feel it’s trying to portray. The sudden, anticlimactic ending just leaves you feeling bad and empty for the protagonist and it helps with the realistic feeling that this arg is trying to create, also helping to highlight the feelings of isolation and helplessness that getting bullied creates. All the elements work so well together in this. The paranoia from the bedrock blocks, the isolation and nostalgia that’s just inherent to minecraft, the old youtube video format, everything just works so well together in its simplicity.

You're correct. Henry didn't deserve it. The school bullies are just more of the stain that society has left, the people that want nothing more than to tear other down and watch them suffer. There really are people who're that cruel in real life, who don't take the thoughts of others into consideration and think they're better than everyone else, so the feelings of others therefore don't matter. They think they can do whatever they want with no consequences, and with this twisted mindset, they choose to be bad people. But what they don't understand - and _need_ to understand - is that there's not enough kindness in this world, and everyone needs to do their part. And the more arrogant, antisocial, and overall sadistic people we have, the farther we stray from a brighter future. People who act like that don't deserve happiness. Frankly, the bedrock still being unscathed when Henry tried blowing them up is just symbolizing that the impact that bullies can have on people, especially those who're particularly sensitive, can really scar them, staying as a dark stormcloud in their minds. That's why people need to be more compassionate towards others. I know I've had a few different instances where multiple people relentlessly bullied me for days, and I'm an incredibly sensitive person, and their words haunt me to this day. Any time I think about them, I either feel boiling hate, or crushing depression, and there are things in my life that can easily remind me of those darker times, whether it's something I see or something that someone says. Those bad memories immediately jump to the forefront of my brain, and it's hard for me to batter them back down to the back of my mind, where they belong. It's not on the same level of sadness and tragicness as the AndrewGaming67 arc, and I did leave a longer comment similar to this reply on a video that talks about that arc, but this one is still sad. It shares the same unfortunate circumstance - being bullied at school by others - only AndrewGaming67 delved into it towards the end, while this ARG fully tackles it. People are saying how Henry leaving the _Minecraft_ world at the end is symbolism for ending his life, but AndrewGaming67 has WAY stronger themes of depression and taking drastic measures because of it. Not trying to downplay this ARG, though. It's still really sad when you put the pieces together.

I know I've had a few different instances where multiple people relentlessly bullied me for days, and I'm an incredibly sensitive person, and their words haunt me to this day. Any time I think about them, I either feel boiling hate, or crushing depression, and there are things in my life that can easily remind me of those darker times, whether it's something I see or something that someone says. Those bad memories immediately jump to the forefront of my brain, and it's hard for me to batter them back down to the back of my mind, where they belong.
It's not on the same level of sadness and tragicness as the AndrewGaming67 arc, and I did leave a longer comment similar to this reply on a video that talks about that arc, but this one is still sad. It shares the same unfortunate circumstance - being bullied at school by others - only AndrewGaming67 delved into it towards the end, while this ARG fully tackles it. People are saying how Henry leaving the _Minecraft_ world at the end is symbolism for ending his life, but AndrewGaming67 has WAY stronger themes of depression and taking drastic measures because of it. Not trying to downplay this ARG, though. It's still really sad when you put the pieces together.

Correction: Back in Beta 1.7.3, the bottom of the world was 0 and bedrock spawned at 4 to 0. Negative coordinates weren't introduced until 1.18.

Edit: Also not commenting on the changing items in the hotbar; the switching of the diamond to iron back to diamond pickaxe. It's also highly unlikely that Henry's on bedrock level in the 3rd video when he encounters the bedrock block while mining. If I remember correctly, the deepest y levels had a fog and *the* worst visibility in those early versions. That fog is missing.
I loved the video, don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for MC ARGs. And you video was great! Just adding my two cents :-D
