The reveal at around 24:00 is so cool. The clues being called back on and culminating in a way that lets people possibly catch on during it or even before. Amazing.
That has got to be the very first minecraft arg that gave me such chills throughout that whole 28 minute video, I didn't check the comments at first so I genuinely thought it was real which gave me a whole rollercoaster ride out of my emotions over this. Confusion, surprise, disbelief, sadness, relief, horror. This was so well made! The plot, execution, story telling was incredible! This has gotta be one of my favorites, I'll now be looking forward on your channel haha keep it up!
"Its scary but i will keep trying..." "If you will too.." literally had me in tears. as someone who has been in moments where i have needed to rely on my friends to keep moving forward this hit hard. The flashbacks to everything that had happened in the video as he walks down the hallway just made things so much more heartbreaking and so much better. Amazing work. edit: In my opinion you have reached your goal. I doubt the Minecraft movie could invoke such emotions in people as much as this video did.
I got so sad at the houses being destroyed. I know its fake but the sad walking just made me imagine that happening to a real little kid and now im sobbing
I'm glad you clarified that it was fictional. Though you honestly played it convincing enough to me. I would have literally never guessed it was faked. It all seemed eerily realistic. Good job on that aspect, even if you didn't mean to fool people. Just means you're a good writer. Honestly, you coming out to clarify that it's fake ALSO says a LOT about you as a person. You're transparent, you're not gonna try to lie for clout and crap. You earned yourself a subscription for both the writing, and being a genuinely open and honest person. That's fucking awesome. Especially in Minecraft TH-cam these days.
thank you, because i make these myself i truly forget how they can come across so when so many people were believing it was legit and especially getting like emotional about it i needed to say something bc the goal is not to make people fully distraught just share a touching story :))
Before he said it was fictional I found it spooky that the kid had the exact same birthdate as my sister. Month day and year all correct and we live near Michigan
I will say, Usually if someone is truly in this situation, the last thing they would think to do is make a heavily well edited video that ends on a cliffhanger. So, keep that in mind next time.
Honestly I wasn't sure about this channel when I first came across it, but after seeing all the compelling stories you create it's honestly exciting every time you upload
Damn, sucks that some people are getting mad over this. That's why you fact-check stuff, y'all. ARGs are fucking awesome, they're narrative masterpieces when done right, and this one certainly is. Because not enough people are saying it-- well done, again.
Fantastic concept for a story and a brilliant way to tell it. Unique way to kickstart an ARG, very curious to see how the unanswered bits carry on. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on all this as I've got some pretty solid theories in the bag, but without much basis for much of it yet.
Zacho really tried to blur the password as if we can't just do it ourselves. Also big respects to record your audio in a cave. Edit: Great Story, Can't wait for it's continuation or the possibility for more!
Honestly this is so good. Not knowing you channel before, I thought this was going to be a regular “here’s this weird thing in the community commentary” video which I get recommended all the time. Then as the video progressed I got really invested in the story of Con, only once thinking this seems like an ARG, but then brushing it off thinking who would limit it to a livestream. It wasn’t until the note on the second child, did it fully click its a piece of fiction, which just speaks to how well this has all been constructed, excited to seeing more!
I had some brief thoughts that this was an ARG, but for the most part, this actually drew me in so well that I did think it was real. (Due to my doubts, I chose not to check before I finished watching.) This is incredibly well-done and I'm excited to see more.
I rarely don't comment on any sort of social media, including yt, but this story alone was really well made and I absolutely love it not just bcs it was well made but also it brings awareness to things like this that are happening pretty much everyday. Tbh, you really had me believing that this was real and not to toot my own horn but im hard to fool. The video as a whole really moved me in a way I cant describe and I wish everyone can watch this exact video bcs the best way to get a very important point across to a vary large audience of different variety (different generations and age groups) is doing it in a way that has some sort of entertaining aspect to it, which in this case is Minecraft, and you have not done a very good job at doing but rather perfected this art. I love what you do and I hope you keep up the good work.
Hey I have a theory (it’s a bit of a stretch but bear with me). In the Michigan sports email and in the article detailing the missing child, they both show the date that they were released (email: Sep 6; article: Sep 7). Now, this is a story that Zachobuilds made, meaning he had to create all the article, accounts, and emails for the production. This means he had to deliberately look at the date and put it there, which makes me believe it’s intentional. My theory, which is crazy so hear me out, is that this entire investigation was done 2 or 3 months in the future, and then was posted in the past (our present day). I don’t have much to support this but this is my theory.
Gods, I'm late to this, sorry, but you're not wrong about time not lining up. Currently (the first stream available for me), "why me" was uploaded on Sep 2, but in the description, it states 8/7/24. I'm pretty sure America uses month/day/year, and even so, those days/month don't match at all. I'm not sure if it is useful information just thought it was a curious find about time not lining up in this ARG.
i think this is the best story ive ever heard 'there were 2 kids in the house' I AUDIBLY GASPED. i never show emotion like that in a video. how do you not have more subs??
Dude you’re insanely good at ARGs, I love your style of storytelling. I have only ever sent two ARGs to people EVER, and they’ve both been yours. I’m obsessed with your work. That line at the end was SO GOOD. I ate this up. Keep up the awesome work!
I had a similar idea for an ARG once. The whole "arg analysis creator is also arg creator" has been done before (Adam Butcher and the Crow64 ARG) but seeing it applied to Minecraft is refreshing. Such a well-written video! One thing, though, I wish you had taken the time to design real-looking newspaper articles instead of using the online generator everyone uses. It breaks the otherwise flawless immersion of the video and is a little jarring. Obviously they show up for like two seconds, but hey we're unfiction writers lol. Spending three hours designing something that shows up for two seconds is our specialty 😅 Amazing job and I can't wait to see what else you have in store! Will be following the channel as well, been looking for a new Minecraft ARG to keep up with.
Great story dude, i was crying so much until i saw the description, idk how u have the ability to create an arg like this, fantastic job, why not a new sub?
Great ARG. Gotta say that I saw it coming w the repeatedly leaving the house bit that the kid was making a replica of the house to practice escaping, and it burning down was possibly the antagonist finding out and foiling his plans, but very intriguing nonetheless, especially with the incorporation of a gmail account to uncover the rest of the story. Well done
This is easily the best ARG ever created. It just mixes reality and fiction so well, it makes everyone get confuses if it is actually real or just script. Very well made and i'm looking forward seeing more of your amazing work!
Ok like genuinely i watched the whole video without looking at the comment section and i was TOUCHED to the soul. I really thought this was real and was sobbing hard. The realization that i had when i read your comment LOL. I was mad at first but in a good way. This was a very well down ARG i actually fell for it. You gained a sub !
Well, I'm hooked. i've never seen someone make and solve their own ARG before, and the story you're weaving is incredible. Taking something familiar (creepy Minecraft alpha videos) and putting a depressing spin on it.
i got a bad headache about 2/3s into the video when i was first watching it last night, so i decided to finish it today. let me say, even knowing the twist, it somehow still got me! i feel so bad for the kid, i want to see them safe!! i may be repeating myself, but well done! can't wait to see where this goes (^ ^)
If i had a nickel for every time i watched an unfiction video about some weird and eerie thing related to a game that genuinely tricked me into thinking it was real and shocked me when i found out it was unficiton in the past few days, I'd have two nickels. Which isnt a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
fucking sent shivers down my spines. "There were 2 kids in the house." that means the kidnapper prob took con when he was about to run. and the police discovered the other kid in the basement. not con. damn.
Honestly this video was very convincing, and I applaud your storytelling for managing to make me believe for the length of the video and I hope to see more of this story in the future
@@BOXMAN2018 Saying in advance i’m bad with explaining these kind of things To me it hits hard because of how hopeless it’ll feel for the other kid, being so close to rescue yet missing and their fate being unknown as this was probably their last shot, we have no idea where they are now and if they’ll even be able to have any kind of chance to leave hints like this again. It’s such a gut wrenching twist
That "There were two kids in the house would make me cry so hard even without the last part, BUT THE LAST PART MADE ME CRY EVEN HARDER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Ur a great storyteller!
Hey! I'm only ~10 minutes into the video but I think I found something that kind of tipped me off that this was fictional - The gmail you put in calls the user Con, despite that only being what you call him, and not his actual account name. I'm enjoying the story up to this point, and I was genuinely nervous when you first said it could be a kid looking to escape!! Keep up the great videos!
Yeah, he is pretty good at this, but I don’t know if anything quite rivals zeemyth. He does the same, making AND solving his arg’s. But. Well. Bedrock.zip is so well done, creepy, and perfect, same with the other one, but I don’t remember it’s name, the other one, although set it the stereotypical alpha minecraft scary setting, does it so well. Especially with the IRL elements. And some supernatural elements. Many say it is a metaphor for a friend ending themselves. I say then what happened to the parents? Why does their old house look like it has aged 100 years without anyone stepping foot in it, when they only left a year ago?
yeah i figured it out pretty quickly too for a few reasons and had to pause the vid 11mins in as well to see if anyone else figured it out early! the main thing i kept thinking about the entire time was that, the streams were said to be put to "unlisted" after they ended. unlisted videos can still be watched in full as long as they're either in your liked or viewed history. putting them on private or deleting them would have been a better alternative! i'm not mad at all that it's fake and i genuinely wish the creator luck as they seem to have been inspired to start creating their own content.
THIS IS SO AMAZINGLY WELL PUT TOGRTHER! This is such a beautiful ARG, and the plot is just fantastic dude. The ending part had to have been the best way to tie it all together to me, with the message and slowly walking away from the torch while *still* facing it, just as mentioned multiple times in the video thst the unnamed kid does. I adore the themes this gives, with the implied bad relationship between the kid and the supposed dad. Reminds me a lot of my own relationship with my father- im just enamored with this. Obviously, more videos arent gonna be made on this, and i know the plot will continue through livestreams, but truly, i LOVE this so much!
i don't normally comment, but holy fucking shit. this is an insanely good story, piece of media, arg, whatever you want to call it. it's compelling, it's plausible, it fits right into the current minecraft horror trends, and its heartwrenching. the 'oh my god, there were two kids in the house' made me shrivel up inside, all cold. that was fucked up. i was drawn in, hook line and sinker. holy shit. it reminds me of "brandonworks", in a very good way, with a nice twist i wasn't expecting. it reminds me of zeemyth's work, which is a high compliment given he's a minecraft arg god. i would love, LOVE, to see another video, just like this, continuing the story. please keep making this sort of content, it fucks hard and i've not seen anything that captures this level of spirit the way you do with the same level of Reality.
What the fuck, bro i thought the livestreams were an arg, then halfway through i thought it's real, then i looked at the description and found out that THIS WHOLE VIDEO IS AN ARG. What the fuck, you're so tallented, i was actually tense watching this, still tense now.
I think you make the best ARG I've ever seen. It didn't even wander to some arc where there's a god and an entity, kept consistent and realistic. I've seen the ghost one, and this one. Can't wait to see more!
When you said “there were 2 kids in the house.” My heart actually dropped and I ran to the comments. Man that was so well written you had me genuinely terrified! Good work!! :D
I watched this on console so I couldn’t see the description or comments not knowing this was fiction definitely almost brought tears to my eyes I wanted con to be safe 😭
If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a youtuber do a video about their own ARG that they are making, I'd have three nickels ...which isn't much, but it's pretty cool it's happened thrice right? Cool stuff dude, very very intrigued.
Me and my siblings watched this, genuinely thinking this was real. Only when we checked the comments, did we see the pinned one and went “Ooohhh my gosh. THATS WHY WE COULDNT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT LEVI”
I genuinely thought it was a Herobrine or possibly Null video lol. My Minecraft brain sees Alpha Minecraft and automatically picture Herobrine haunting the world watching the player constantly. Or Null Tampering with signs. Come on please tell me I wasn’t the only one who thought of Herobrine. But My gosh how much more sinister this story this was so well made.
I had to check *_twice_* if it was fictional or not, good lord this is some great quality content I've rarely ever seen before. This ARG got me so immersed, I almost mistook it as genuinely real. I kept trying to doubt that it was real, but at the same time I kept wondering "what if...". Absolutely fantastic work! Captivating until the very last moments, comprehensible pace & incredibly easy to follow everything that was displayed and explained! I think I'm addicted to this type of content now.
Bro, PLEASE make more videos like this. The moment you said "There were two kids in the house" I immediately got chills everywhere on my body. It felt like I was watching a True Crime documentary even though I fully knew it was all fake. Keep it up, it's chilling and it had me absolutely hooked for EVERY minute.
This is an excellent piece of unfiction, and you should be proud! :D Very good storytelling, from every perspective. This type of stuff is art, and it deserves to be called that, because art is all about making people FEEL things. This piece encapsulates a feeling of dread that can only stem from very serious topics like this. I love it. The impact of that last line was well-earned.
this means a ton to me, this video in particular I really went full force into creating a world people would Want to get invested in so I'm so happy it came across well :))

Wonderful ARG response. Thank you for the clarification in the description. I love ARGs they're like scavenger hunts.
bro before reading description i was going in depression
Especially in Minecraft TH-cam these days.
thank you, because i make these myself i truly forget how they can come across so when so many people were believing it was legit and especially getting like emotional about it i needed to say something bc the goal is not to make people fully distraught just share a touching story :))
i couldn’t have said it any better
Before he said it was fictional I found it spooky that the kid had the exact same birthdate as my sister. Month day and year all correct and we live near Michigan
I will say, Usually if someone is truly in this situation, the last thing they would think to do is make a heavily well edited video that ends on a cliffhanger. So, keep that in mind next time.
@@citruscirrus5607yeah like what😭
Honestly I wasn't sure about this channel when I first came across it, but after seeing all the compelling stories you create it's honestly exciting every time you upload
This was sooooo eerie and well made!! It makes me think of NickCrowley vids
0:56 No, Notch just fucking broke leaf decay in alpha 1.2.6 so it got removed from the game effectively lmao
"There were two kids in the house" that is insane
That one line shook me
that just creeped my out when it was said.
I'm not sure if I wanna continue watching now
So well written, honestly impeccable work 🙏🏾
Damn, sucks that some people are getting mad over this. That's why you fact-check stuff, y'all. ARGs are fucking awesome, they're narrative masterpieces when done right, and this one certainly is. Because not enough people are saying it-- well done, again.
Thank you, that means a lot

Fantastic concept for a story and a brilliant way to tell it. Unique way to kickstart an ARG, very curious to see how the unanswered bits carry on. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on all this as I've got some pretty solid theories in the bag, but without much basis for much of it yet.
ayeee thank you
Zacho really tried to blur the password as if we can't just do it ourselves.
23:06 holy sh*t that explains why he didn't go in the caves
Wait a damn minite
Time travel + kidnapping + minecraft = good ARG
Gods, I'm late to this, sorry, but you're not wrong about time not lining up. Currently (the first stream available for me), "why me" was uploaded on Sep 2, but in the description, it states 8/7/24. I'm pretty sure America uses month/day/year, and even so, those days/month don't match at all.
I'm not sure if it is useful information just thought it was a curious find about time not lining up in this ARG.
i think this is the best story ive ever heard 'there were 2 kids in the house' I AUDIBLY GASPED. i never show emotion like that in a video. how do you not have more subs??
24:44 damn that sent shivers down my spine but i mean just imagine if this was real the guilt wouldve killed me
Just in the middle of watching this and only just realised this was uploaded like an hour ago lol, good video so far!

Great story dude, i was crying so much until i saw the description, idk how u have the ability to create an arg like this, fantastic job, why not a new sub?
this was such a good story, i got late to school, while being fully invested. keep up the great work!
Well done
amazing video, this had me at the edge of my seat until the very last second. keep up the great work!
ahhh thank you!
This is easily the best ARG ever created. It just mixes reality and fiction so well, it makes everyone get confuses if it is actually real or just script. Very well made and i'm looking forward seeing more of your amazing work!
27:10 this part was genuinely so well done

Ok like genuinely i watched the whole video without looking at the comment section and i was TOUCHED to the soul. I really thought this was real and was sobbing hard. The realization that i had when i read your comment LOL. I was mad at first but in a good way. This was a very well down ARG i actually fell for it. You gained a sub !
I swear when he first fell into the tunnel I thought we were Gonna have a whole Debase situation all over again.
Dude that was crazy story love it make more pls you are really good at it
If i had a nickel for every time i watched an unfiction video about some weird and eerie thing related to a game that genuinely tricked me into thinking it was real and shocked me when i found out it was unficiton in the past few days, I'd have two nickels. Which isnt a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
is this about the "lost dinosaur game"?

“There were two kids in the house.”
That line is so simple yet haunting, it’s amazing how well this arg was made
probably just goes over my head but why is it so haunting?
@@BOXMAN2018 Saying in advance i’m bad with explaining these kind of things
To me it hits hard because of how hopeless it’ll feel for the other kid, being so close to rescue yet missing and their fate being unknown as this was probably their last shot, we have no idea where they are now and if they’ll even be able to have any kind of chance to leave hints like this again. It’s such a gut wrenching twist
@@JesterEnthusiast ahh i get it now, thanks for the explanation.
Also as soon as I was up to the part where the line was said, I read this reply
1:24 This is diabolical 😭
That "There were two kids in the house would make me cry so hard even without the last part, BUT THE LAST PART MADE ME CRY EVEN HARDER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ur a great storyteller!
Connor. I mean if I were named conner, consciousness would be a pretty cool like, pun on the name.
I just subscribed oh my god that was so so good I love these types of videos

i don't normally comment, but holy fucking shit.
this is an insanely good story, piece of media, arg, whatever you want to call it. it's compelling, it's plausible, it fits right into the current minecraft horror trends, and its heartwrenching. the 'oh my god, there were two kids in the house' made me shrivel up inside, all cold. that was fucked up. i was drawn in, hook line and sinker. holy shit.
it reminds me of "brandonworks", in a very good way, with a nice twist i wasn't expecting. it reminds me of zeemyth's work, which is a high compliment given he's a minecraft arg god. i would love, LOVE, to see another video, just like this, continuing the story. please keep making this sort of content, it fucks hard and i've not seen anything that captures this level of spirit the way you do with the same level of Reality.

My Minecraft brain sees Alpha Minecraft and automatically picture Herobrine haunting the world watching the player constantly. Or Null Tampering with signs.

Man, sounded legit. You've got some serious skill to be able to make a story off this thing.
